No real travel buddy options, just fake profiles and scammers
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

No real travel buddy options, just fake profiles and scammers
It only took me one evening to identify lots of problems. Blocking and reporting doesn't work. There are no scammer filters.
Of course you can't message without being a member. They all do that. But the female profiles are 90% super obvious scams. I saw lots of obvious fake male profiles as well. There is absolutely no effort or screening to make this a reasonable platform.
If I could give less then one star I would. In a yr, had 2 dozen chats or so. 100% Ai scammers, fake photos, profiles, some want to sell porn, some asked for money outright, most after a couple days, want me to invest, in bitcoin, cypo- currency, cash wallet, etc. Reported to trip giraffe, but offenders never removed
Tripgiraffe platform is problematic to use. The experience was not satisfactory.
Well, apparently it seems that there are lot of people looking for a travel partner. However, when you look closely you will find
1. The trips never expire. So when you put filter for a destination, the trips planned in 2019 still appear in the search list.
2. There is no way of knowing if the listed persons still check the website. There is no "last activity" status. So you may invite hundreds of people who are no more interested, just to find out may be just one or two invitations were worth sending.
3. It also seemed to me that a lot of profile are fake created by people who were somehow compenstated to create a profile just to show up huge data base.
In short, not worth the time and money.
Mostly (possibly: only) fake profiles. Potential "travel companions" contact you, but you can't reply unless you pay for premium version.
Moreover, when you want to check active trips, it shows people looking for travel mates 4 years ago.
The platform looks good and it obviously took money and effort to make it, so it's beyond me why they didn't just make it real. My guess is that a scam platform just brings more money for less work.
Fake profiles and scams. If the site isn't creating them, they are allowing them. How many times do they have to be told? I can point out the scammers so why does the site allow them? If you burn your money for heat, you'll get more use out of it than this site.
People are not on this site to travel. They are here to scam you ! I have found fake profiles on the site simply by using Google images ! Download a good photo (no sunglasses) where the face is clear, save it, go onto Google images and upload the photo. If nothing comes up they may be genuine or simply using their real face. Mine came up with a real Sugar Babe operating from New York ! Imagine my shock. I would not plan anything or pay for any joint trips until you have checked the images you can see. Its also expensive with recurring subs ! You can't even pay for a one-off, which would be better for newcomers
seems like a fake scam spam
i am getting sus emails by fake womens bot
