Hopefully my transaction was just bad luck. I ordered 4 X light fittings. When they arrived 2 X fittings were smashed. I sent them pictures showing how poor the packaging was. They apologized, thanked me for my photos, then sent me two replacements. Both replacements were smashed. The packaging was worse than before. They asked me what I would like to do. I wanted to complete my order for 4 X fittings, but suggested a refund, as I had no faith in their delivery. Then received a refund of 2 X fittings, less the cost of all delivery. In effect, the 2 X fittings that I was left with, cost me twice as much. I am now struggling to find a matching light fitting from elsewhere. So not a good experience, and I don't believe that they will improve.

I bought a bar chair from Trueshopping less than a year ago and it recently failed catastrophically - with me sitting on it. There was a loud crack and the next thing I knew I was lying on the floor with a pile of broken wood under me. I reported this to Trueshopping but the company has neither apologised for the danger to me, nor accepted any responsibility for the failure of their product and they refuse to replace the chair or offer me a refund.

The failure is clearly a manufacturing defect as the wood of the chair leg itself snapped and the whole thing fell apart. I weigh only 70 kilos and the chair was well looked after and had only ever been kept indoors. The company has been utterly dismissive of my complaint and does not accept any responsibility whatsoever. I'm appalled by their complete disregard for the integrity of their product and for my safety.

"the damage was reported outside of the product's 12 months warranty, which is why a refund or replacement could not be offered on this occasion."

Again, the quality was NOT as expected. However, going by your 12-month warranty, the order was delivered late, I have an email from 27/04/2022 from Jason apologising for the delay on the delivery; and I reported the manufacturing defect on 23/04/2022.

I then expect a refund or replacement asap.

I've purchased many spares for garden machinery and Trueshopping always deliver on time and good quality spares.
The only down side are Hermes they do delay goods 24 hrs.

Excellent service both in customer response and product delivery.

Good enough Steamer cushions for the money. No sizes on advert and poor packaging, a very thin poly bag.

Ordered a spare part for an appliance that I purchased several years ago. I was amazed that the part was still available, it arrived within a couple of days was a perfect fit and works superbly.

Bought the Trueshopper 5 -in- 1 Petrol multitool but the product is unuseable due to a manufacturing issue. The casting on the motor is such that fuel vapour escapes past the sparkplug, meaning that the motor doesn't run.
Additionally the fixings for the handle of the product were too small so i had to find longer nut and bolt to enable it to be secured on( all prior to finding out the product has more serious issues)
Tools that come with the kit are very low quality and one wasn't actually useable at all.
Poor Quality product all round. With it being a casting fault , my unit wont be the only one with the issue.

Ordered a ratten sofa set, money refunded next day saying out of stock, on checking site found it was not out of stock they just did not want to honour the price of £316 I paid and put the price upto £816 DISGUSTING

I was a bit worried when I saw Hermes were the carrier, but my order arrived in super quick time. Instructions were very easy to follow and the item quick to assemble. All good so far 🙂

I made an order which went astray, no fault on behalf of the seller. The product is great and the customer service was beyond compare. Helpful friendly and customer care obviously of importance.

Solid construction, easy to assemble, it looks like it has been treated already to be weatherproof, so all in all surprisingly good, compact furniture. Just need decent weather to enjoy it at it’s best!

I had to buy a replacement pull start for my strimmer as the original broke. The product was easy to identify via the model number and the purchase was simple and straightforward. I thought that the price for the part was high, especially when compared to the cost of a new strimmer and the P&P was excessive.

Top sale order sent out to me in records time will use again

The bench arrived in packaging which had obviously been opened and resealed with duck tape. The bench is sturdy and of strong construction but it had a large chip out of one of the horizontal bars and a shallow crack and some scratches only evident as I was assembling it. Not what I expected for £395. It was certainly not new and unopened.

Great customer service, informed by e-mail when the product was ready for delivery and the ability to Track the package. The package arrived on time. Although there was an issue with the product’s wiring but was quickly resolved by customer Service and their tech team.

This is the second time I’ve placed an order and always have been pleased with the service. Thank you.
