I think the strongest comment I can make is the quality of the tour guides we had. They were all very knowledgeable and gave us just the right amount of information.
the only negative was trying to look up the itinerary seemed to take too many steps.
We were not involved in the organizational part, but think what you came up with was a good balance of activity and free time.

Our trip was absolutely fantastic
Our trip was absolutely fantastic. Truetrips selected the islands we would visit based on our interests and they were varied and perfect.
We moved around for two weeks and every detail was flawlessly executed from transfers to ferry trips to air travel. Our favorite island was Patmos and our favorite accommodation Hotel Petra, a delightful family owned hotel with wonderful personal service and great food.

TrueTrips Greece associates arranged a trip of a lifetime for our group of eight family and friends, which included singles and couples. TrueTrips customized the trip specific to our interest with start in Athens, travel to three islands, and a family heritage visit in Peloponnese peninsula. The arrangements for our travel were outstanding from the four and five star boutique hotel, individualized tours for our group of eight, transfers, flight and ferry transportation between islands, and a private transport with driver for our three days in Peloponnese. TrueTrips arranged an outstanding trip to Greece for our group of 16 friends. The hotels were lovely and well located. The tours were interesting and we had excellent guides. Such a memorable trip, made incredibly easy
TrueTrips prepared a wonderful trip for my wife and I for 2 weeks in Greece to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Our experience couldn't have been better! They were extremely helpful in listening to what we wanted to get out of the trip and created a customized itinerary for us that took us to all the places we wanted to go as well as found some true hidden gems for us that we would never have found on our own.
The logistics of all transfers (private cars, ferries, and domestic flights) were executed flawlessly and it became a true delight for us to wade through the crowds and find the person holding the sign with the TrueTrips logo. The drivers were extremely professional and courteous and were a delight to talk with. Really, it couldn't have possibly been any smoother. These folks have this down to an art form.

Every detail of our recent trip to Greece was handled beautifully. The complicated logistics we had requested were all executed flawlessly. When I had a question at 10 pm on a Sunday night, True Trips had someone staffing the phone and answered the question. When my daughter wanted to send me flowers on Mother's Day while I was traveling, True Trips made it happen. The guides and drivers were knowledgeable and personable. More telling, they shared that True Trips was the best travel company in Greece and that they were very happy to be able to work with them. True Trips was very responsive from my initial email to inquire about their service all the way through the last day of the trip. Highly recommended.

Second True Trip - Italy - Terrific!
I took my second True Trip this May to Italy and it was a great trip! We started in Venice, to Florence, Siena, Rome, and finally the Amalfi Coast. Throughout the entire trip True Trips guest services arranged our private tours, drivers, transfers, and hotels and we couldn’t have been more happy with the service, it was 5 star all the way.
We also had a train mix up and didn’t land where we were supposed to. I contacted True Trips and they arranged for the driver to come to us. I just feel there customer service and assistance in helping us plan our trip was terrific and will use them again in the future!

My husband found Tru Trips via google. He reached out to them after reading their reviews and seemed like a great company to him. Through tru trips we went to Italy and Greece. We used tru trips for hotels, transfers and activities.
The start of our trip was rocky, we started in Venice. Where the transfer was not smooth, the skipper took us to the wrong hotel. We than had to carry our luggage in the heat and up stairs/bridges after traveling for 16 hours. We were not happy. Our second stop was Rome, once again our transfer took us to the wrong hotel and we had to wait around for another transfer.
Tru trips did reach out right away and try to fix it and offer some refund. Which is nice, but what they don't understand is that when someone spends nearly $20,000 dollars on a trip the same issue should not reoccur. What tru trips also doesn't understand is that money does not buy time. We lost time, that we aren't able to get back. My husband asked for them to make it up to us, so they arranged an extended hour on our sailing trip in Capri. However, that did not happen due to weather. We also missed out on a tourist site because our skipper said it was not near Capri, which i found out later it was near Capri not the Amalfi like he said. In Rome, Tru Trips did a poor job planning our schedule. Everything was jammed pack and they should have separated the Coliseum from the Vatican ( one in the morning and one in the afternoon) instead we had to rush at certain places. Also, i had to keep asking our guide to go to certain places, because according to our guide Tru Trips did not communicate what all we were supposed to see. Which i do not understand, how does a company not communicate what the guests are supposed to see and do? or how does the company not ask the guest for time preference on when they would like to go to see tourist sites? We missed the Roman Forum all together. Instead of making it up to us, all they say is they can't because of x reason or y reason.....
Instead of accommodating for these mishaps, tru trips just justifies it with excuses. We paid for a 4 hour tour in Athens, instead it was 2 hours, their excuse was our flight was delayed and also because we wanted to get to the airport 2 hours early. Which thank god we did, we waited an hour and a half for a passport check, not included checking in at the counter. However, tru trips does not care about all of this, they just want to blame us and keep our money. Also they know Greece has delayed flights all the time because when we planned this whole trip they recommend we stay in Athens due to this very issue of delayed flights. They also said the tour was shorten because when our guide asked us if she wanted to walk with us after the main sites were done, we said no. We said no, because our guide did not offer or explain any other tourist sites to go to. What is the point of paying for a tour/using a company if the client has to do all the work and keep telling the guide where to go? It is the company's responsibility to explain these things. Tru Trips said they cannot give us a partial refund because these things are out of their control. When in reality, I don't understand how they can just sit there and take money for 2 extra hours they did not earn and then penalize the clients because things were not in their control.....
I am glad i did alot of research on my own and not rely completely on a company. Which i highly recommend so that you don't have issues like us.
I am very disappointed in Tru Trips because they seemed on top of it from the get go with communication, answering questions, planning, etc. but when it came time to executing all the things we paid for, expected, they let us down a few times. I am not sure how they can say that are a customer service company, and care about a customers happiness when in reality they just justify things and penalize the clients for it. Money does not grow on trees, and we cannot buy time if they understood this than maybe our trip would have gone a lot better.

This is what allows us to continually evaluate and re-evaluate our suppliers so that we can make any adjustments deemed necessary and improve even more our service offering with each passing year.
Your trip was one of the rare occasions when some things didn’t go as planned, and we completely understand how this must have been a frustrating experience, but we are also confident that you thoroughly enjoyed all other parts of your trip, including your hotels and most of your transfers and guided activities.
This is not to say that the inconveniences you incurred shouldn’t matter – they do. Making sure our guests are happy and well taken care of is a key concern for us. This is the reason why we are always just a phone call away, ready to interfere in case of an emergency even outside our office’s normal working hours, and in the few cases when we can’t rectify an issue on the spot, we always try to find some way to make it up to our guests.
After conducting thorough due diligence, we have decided not only to refund you for the full amount of your transfers in Venice and in Rome as well as for half the tour you didn’t complete in Athens, but we also took it a step further to include an additional discount on your transfer service from Rome to Sorrento. We understand that money won’t make up for the time you lost, but under the circumstances, we feel it’s the least we can do for you.
Once again, we apologize that your experience with us was not as perfect as we intended it to be, but we were very happy to hear from your husband that despite the unfortunate bumps along the way you very much enjoyed a big part of your trip, and as your husband has shared you wouldn’t be averse to traveling with us again in the future. We would be delighted at the opportunity and we’re confident that your next travel experience with us will be nothing short of excellent, as is the case for the vast majority of our trips!

Top notch service
Our trip to Greece this year was the first time we’d worked with TrueTrips and we were a bit concerned about the upfront payments and the contract, but our concerns were unfounded. We had the best vacation of our lives and kept saying how glad we were to have such fabulous service! TrueTrips planned and arranged everything beautifully and there wasn’t a single hitch or issue. I can’t imagine what our experience would have been if we’d gone on our own and we didn’t want to do a bus tour with someone else’s itinerary. TrueTrips offers the best of both worlds!
