Single Women Avoid this Boy

Freddie Smith charged me £700, during the cost of living crisis, to replace my fence. He had replaced guttering and a downpipe for me previously for £350. I found him very nice and friendly and he gained my trust and I was happy to give work to some young and productive. I was fooled. On close inspection I could see that all panels were damaged in some way and that they'd killed a 10 year old passion flower that I had nurtured and asked them to protect.Freddie accepted the job was a shambles and stated he was ashamed and appalled and blamed his labourer, claiming he was an idiot and only uses him because he is related to his girlfriend. Freddie promised to put it right. 12 months on I have a fence that is wobbling, split, nails sticking out and slats falling out. It is uneven and unfinished. My great niece cut herself on one of the many nails sticking out. I have put my story on Nextdoor and many SINGLE WOMEN like me have experienced exactly the same thing. The irony, he seems to single out, single women. After connecting with these women it seems he uses different tactics for roofing jobs. He either notices a problem whilst working on a neighbour's roof or another issue that needs to be put right. It seems he asks for around £600. Alarming themes, which is very worrying and extremely discriminatory. DO NOT trust Freddie, because money is king to him and single women are the easiest picking for predators like him and his sidekick.

Having told my story on Nextdoor, so many women have reached out and shared there experience of Freddie, such a shame. He certainly had us all fooled. Wish I could share pictures so you can see with your own eyes the extent of his conmanship, because you cannot call it workmanship.

Money grabbing, dishonest and lacking a conscience. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I've checked the box so that he can read this review and maybe he'll change his ways. A full refund would be the best outcome, although I should ask for £1k given inflation and his numerous no shows. Hopefully his girlfriend will tell him to sort it. At the end of the day how would they like their family members being treated in this way.
