What we experienced from Tusla was not child protection but a collapse of professional responsibility. They repeated allegations without evidence, ignored documented facts, and built assessments on bias instead of truth. They never verified information, never corrected their own errors, and acted with complete disregard for the stability of a parent who has cared for his child for years.Tusla manipulates its power like children in a sandbox -careless, untrained, and completely unaware of the harm they create. They are neither competent nor professional, and their actions are a danger to any child caught in their system. A child exposed to Tusla’s negligence today becomes an adult carrying trauma tomorrow.

Their priority is not safeguarding children but protecting their own image and exerting power over the very parents who genuinely provide love, safety, and stability. The scale of negligence and procedural failure we witnessed is alarming.
An agency with this level of dysfunction must be independently investigated, and families harmed by these practices should have the right to seek full accountability through legal action!

If I could give tusla a disfunctonal not fit for purpose organization a zero I would completely out touch with reality they refuse to help or support parents yet they can give foster carers etc all the help and support they need a complete joke of an organization... social workers never listen majority of them haven't a clue ...useless waste of time that failed organization

Absolutely a corrupt agency . Completely ignore there own policy amd legal law when it comes to unlawful international abduction and aiding abduction of Children and aiding the abducting parent conceal the children and creates false narrative to give to gards. Coaches the female parents and what to say amd or do do not verify custody or relocation consent of any kind .is Absolutely biased and sexiest twords men amd when there caugh they play silence and deflection like the cowards they are!!!. Whatever tusla claim to stand for they Completely ignore it .. absolute disgrace in every sense of the word ....

Can’t keep a 10 year old that was in there facility safe but get on to parents for there kid missing school

The staff don't take anything serious till its to late disgrace to the country. All the staff should be handed there P45 and Tusla should be shut down absolute waste of tax payers money

It depends on the social worker you are seeing. Some I would give 5 stars and others less. I have had empathy and excellent service from Siobhan who really did so much to help. The criticism I have is that a social worker is not always available should you need to speak to one. I suggest that regular meetings between social workers and family members are a must. Always assume that families love their children even if something went wrong. You are very much at the mercy of the social worker that seems to have sole power over everything. You cant really review the organisation, because some are a credit to it and others less, thus my 3 stars

Dreadful organisation that should be closed up and not be wasting tax payers money. Never take anything seriously until it’s too late and have different levels, Amber, etc when in reality if they got involved earlier people be saved and children’s lives not ruined. I wouldn’t be bothered ever telling them anything.

From my brief encounter just AS AN OBSERVER, supporting an adolescent who attended counselling with a social worker for support during her pregnancy, only to learn THE DAY AFTER giving birth that she is going to court in 2 days - her baby taken from her because she showed mental instability during her pregnancy. He mother was never informed, the worse part she was not allowed to go with her daughter inside the court.
When social workers have NO WORK ETHICS and NO COMPASSION and they OVERSTEP THEIR ROLES to pray on vulnerable pregnant young women - after they earn their trust just to MANIPULATE them. ABUSE OF POWER. Twisting everything to build up a case and making it a Personal matter - about them.
The hospital social worker working with Tusla social worker AS WITNESSES AGAINST THE YOUNG WOMAN IN COURT. Appalling Unprofessional corrupt behaviour. They don't even deserve the ONE STAR, pity it is the lowest we can go.

My personal experience with the school welfare officer has been nothing short of amazing. AnnMaire has been so so supportive and helpful to my family, she helped me apply to schools for my son Lewis who was struggling to find a school place. AnnMaire was always so kind and pleasant when on the phone and in my home. She spoke to my children and you could see how much experience she has with children she has such a positive attitude towards life and I admire that about AnnMaire. My son now has a school placement and a tutor with the help of her and we will always be grateful of the work she done.

I rang Tusla and asked for help as I was having a hard time with one of my teenagers as I thought they might give me guidance to get some counciling or just to find out how to get to the bottom of her issues. They swung the whole lot around on me and said it must something I was doing wrong. They even rang my wife to get me out of the house so they could question her about me. When they had left my wife was mortified that the social worker had asked her was I hitting her or the teenagers . I felt demoralised and humiliated that someone that asked for advise is treated like this. I regret ringing them and will never trust a state run organisation again and the cops are tied in with them too (They are always going to have eachothers back). You see what they done to Maurice McCabe and he was a cop and to know one of his own got TUSLA onto him and he also done nothing wrong. There are parents out there that are struggling but when they ask for help its seen as if its the parents fault they cant cope in social workers eyes. I wouldnt mind but most of them have no children of their own so how would they understand what parents have to go through in todays society with drugs etc being introduced to kids all over Ireland. ALL social workers get their training from a book and think they are better than anyone else because the government gave them that power. They are government run bullies who rip apart families because its a well known fact in their eyes its always the parents fault their kids are out of control no matter what help parents ask for even though teenagers right to adulthood could be making there parents lives a living hell through peer pressure of drugs that when they get hooked rob and steal to get that fix and IF parents ask for help and are at their wits end and dont know what to do the social workers dont deal with the problem but chastise the parents making out its their fault and the parents will not be helped by the government bullies which leads to suicide because they feel they are alone and no one is listening. (THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT REAL LIFE STRUGGLES).

Do not expect any advice, aid or any sort of help from Tusla in Navan, similar to Enable Ireland in Navan... Will not help, only take notes, tick boxes, take it back to the team & good luck!

Tusla social workers change details and scores on risk assessments in order to avoid taking on difficult child abusers. This puts children at significant risk.

My kids got abused in school by principal and year head and management, all 4 kids are excellent academics and behavioural but because I stood up to principal when my daughter got bullied the principal didn’t like it. Removed illegally my kids from school. Went to ask help from tusla was told Tusla only acts against parents not teachers. How unfair is that??? Teachers can abuse, scream at my kids and tusla does nothing. Why aren’t they concerned with children s safety than???

Where do I start ?? Attended for counseling after being sexually abused and they only made things worse with my mental health for me! They’re not psychologists yet will act like ones and give you counseling for as long as you need even tho they are doing more harm than good! Absolute bllsht and when asked for a letter literally just to confirm I’ve attended - they rang me with questions about my past bringing up the sexual abuse and names of abuser and all ? It made me very upset and at the end said they can’t provide me with a letter of confirmation that I’ve attended the Centre. So what the hell was I there for ? Literally to fck my head up for free counseling and now having to pay big money for counseling after getting fckd up by these lot for years! Pay for a good psychologists and never go to these they will mess you up even more than you think ! Steer clear helping people ?? More like fkn them up even more ! Asking for a letter of confirmation that they apparently can’t give ? Stupidity at its finest!

Absolutely ridiculous system. Not doing what they say they will. Giving reccomendations for children to be removed from unfit parents and not following up on them. Promises left right and centre with no follow through. Children and families left to rot in the hole of a system. Children's futures ruined disgusting behaviour

Treated like absolute dirt went to get help with post natal.depression already suffered with depression and tulsa got called I raised my daughter for 8 months alone but then daddy comes along I handed her over while I get better....ne er a hair harmed on her head but they want safety people with me 3 times a week for 4 hours and for them to drop her back to her das with me...I keep telling him there is no one

Tusla or Meath Tusla in particular are an absolute joke of an organisation and a waste of taxpayers money,there needs to be a independent enquiry into the affairs that Tusla conduct and the people who work for them especially in meath/kells/navan in the Tusla office would want to be monitored as some of them haven't a clue and are a risk to children.Ive 1 daughter that lives with me who is 11 and my other daughter is living around kells she is 7 in August,she attends Orinstown national school,Currently I'm unsure if my daughter is alive or dead,I've rang the social services to enquire about my daughter Ava and they are useless,I've stressed that child alienation is child abuse as Ava isn't being allowed to see her sister kayla and hasn't seen her in over 1 year and only 13 hours in 2 years,that was in Springboard facilities in navan this was organised by her mother to prevent my daughter from telling the truth. I've tried to explain to Tusla staff that child alienation is child abuse and Parental Alienation is child abuse and my daughter Ava is going through child abuse yet they are doing nothing. Meath Social services are a complete waste of tax payers money and children are in extreme danger if Tusla Meath are investigating as children will be the least of their worries and they will try to cover up their mistakes

Most gangster operation going. If you have the cash and means they will work for you. The most horrible organisation operating in this country and the reviews say a lot. As long as you’re making plenty of cash and have no morals especially they hate Catholics and their way of teaching. Breaking up families, destroying lives, leading to a parent committing suicide and leaving suicidal ideation in the parent left behind. I hope you’re proud. Like the the devil himself. But your days are numbered just like the proud one. Shame on yous all !!! Please don’t trust or engage in this organisation, whom are bullies and very discrimative amongst other negative aspects.
