Real trash. Spent days emailing Twilio to try and get going on Thier system. Every time smacked back with foolish "anti-fraud" queries. Every time a new agent and new questions, many already cove... See more

Terrible
Terrible! Took a whole month out of my project with back and forth configuration emails and still no good. Save yourself the headache.
Worst communication provider ever.
Worst communication provider ever.
2 months support ticket unsolved, wsp communication issue unsolved. Impossible and useless custom support. Its like talking with no brain people
If I could give them 0 stars
If I could give them 0 stars, I would.
What a joke of a company.
No guaranteed response time. Spent four days chasing their "bot" for a reply - still not had one. They've taken £20 for a system I CANNOT USE. No options to speak to an agent or call them. No options to speak to accounts to get a refund.
Will be taking the matter further.
Terrible company - avoid at all costs.

Support didn't even give a qualified answer for 11 days already. Only the "sorry, we are really busy" reply. Service is not working for 11 days already.
MFA failed on text
MFA failed on text, failed on phone call. They hide any feature you want to see. I couldn't have been more disappointed. Twilio, you have to let people in to see what you offer before we decide to buy your product. I'm going to check out Numverify, Teli.io, Neutrino, AbstractAPI Phone Validation.
Twilio is slowest platform
twilio is honestly one of the slowest platforms I have ever used in my entire life. The overall user experience is extremely frustrating, the UI feels unnecessarily complicated, and there are bugs and issues at almost every step.
Even the signup experience is terrible. Something as basic as creating an account and verifying a phone number becomes a frustrating process. Error messages are unclear, and when something goes wrong, it’s difficult to understand what actually needs to be fixed.
For a platform that provides communication infrastructure to businesses, I expected a much more polished, reliable, and user-friendly experience.
Very disappointing. Twilio seriously needs to improve its UI, performance, onboarding, error handling, and overall user experience.
I have never written a Trustpilot… But Twilio is the worst (coming from a long time customer)
I have never written a Trustpilot before, and only done like 5 total internet reviews in my entire life (most of them positive). But I just *had* to come here and say that Twilio is just the absolute worst and it keeps getting worse. I have used Twilio since 2021, and what they have turned into on the A2P 10DLC Registration process is just the worst. I have onboarded clients in 6 month to 1 year intervals since 2021 and it just keeps getting worse and worse and harder and harder. Plus now I don't think I am even speaking to a real human. But this human/non-human is very adept at ignoring the documents and explanations you send and gaslighting you when you call them out on it. I am going to begin the process of unwinding it out of our software.
Gone downhill
This used to be a great company with great support. Now they take a week to respond to a ticket, close it immediately, and send a blow off response. Why even have a ticket system if they're just going to be closed unresolved?
I have nothing good to say.
I have nothing good to say.
This is a shell of a company with no help at all. I wasted hours of time. Do not use this.
The worst UI ever created
This website is literally the most difficult website to navigate. I'm building a new app and i was considering using them for SMS and im already regretting it and looking for other providers. I do not recommend using twilio unless you want to lose your mind figuring out where everything is..
Twilio keeps blocking me from logging…
Twilio keeps blocking me from logging in to the website I need to do my work because of "fraudulent activities" on my phone number. Twilio could improve by disappearing as a company as it adds nothing of value and just causes obstruction to work.
Frequent Spam Calls
I get spam calls from numbers owned by this company most days. Despite my number being registered with TPS.
Just don't. They are a total scam.
They will steal from you. It's just that simple. Then they'll tell you they can't refund you because the "fees are not Twilio fees". I am so worn out with companies screwing consumers over.
An utterly terrible and frustrating…
An utterly terrible and frustrating experience for international users. They easily let you fund your account, only to trap you in an impossible A2P 10DLC bureaucratic maze and US-only address validations that they never warn you about before taking your money. They block legitimate users, waste your time, and offer zero real solutions for entrepreneurs outside of North America. I demand an immediate refund of my remaining balance for a service that is completely inaccessible and unusable.
slowest customer support on earth
slowest customer support on earth. No where close to competitors.
Very poor customer service and opaque billing practises
Let me say this about Twilio. Their global coverage is good. That much gets them the second star.
However. Their billing is extremely (and I believe intentionally) opaque. They make you pay for a premium "billing insights" package just to understand basic things about your account spend.
We were also recently victims of SMS pumping fraud. Ok, shame on us for not being aware of the risks. But shame on Twilio for not automatically have SMS pumping fraud protection automatically on for all user accounts. I mean, this is their core offering. The cynical part of me thinks that they make a lot of money out of SMS pumping fraud, so it's not really in their interest to make it an automatic feature. But in my humble opinion they should be making their money out of cleaning messaging usage, and not skimming cream off the top when clients are the subject of attacks like this.
The worst thing is that in the immediate aftermath of the pumping fraud, they have not responding to any tickets i have logged (it is now 5 full days since I logged that ticket).
Shocking service and really disappointed. Looking to find an alternative provider and alternative authentication mechanisms for our product.
Company allows multiplie scam callers…
Company allows multiplie scam callers to use their service they should be banned
Ridiculously complicated registration…
Ridiculously complicated registration process that is not actually required in my country. Can't use my messaging credits as a result and they won't refund them. $70.00 wasted on this company. DO NOT USE.
My debit card was compromised after using it here — avoid
Endless "compliance" checks that demanded a disproportionate amount of personal, corporate and even payment-card information by email — more than my own bank has ever asked for. After I provided everything, they closed my account with no real explanation. Worst of all, my debit card has been compromised since I used it with them. In my experience this felt like a scam, and I would strongly warn others against handing over their personal and financial data here.
Definitely scammers
Definitely scammers, they will have you sign up for all the things even an ISV and knowing you need support approval for everything they will let your account hang until you upgrade and buy a support plan for minimum $250/mo .. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! they are only out to get your wallet, they do not care about you or your business achieving it's goals. Trust me when i tell you they are NO GOOD! pure greed and its got to go!
