NO HELP FOR STOLEN ACCOUNTS

after bing on the same ubisoft account for ten years, my systems were hacked and i lost both my EA and UBISOFT accounts to hackers.

EA had me back up and running again within 10 mins.

However, dispite giving Ubisoft all the information they asked for AND MORE, they still claim they dont have enough to prove the account is mine. ive sent them paypal recipts, CD keys, copies of support messages from there own helpdesk before the hack.

I think they are doing it on purpose.

I have also raised a subject access request which they havent even ackollaged which is illigal

Ubisoft Allows Hackers to Steal Accounts & Purchases – No Support for Victims

I never thought a major gaming company like Ubisoft would have such poor security and even worse customer service. My Ubisoft account was hacked and taken over, with the email changed in real time. Despite providing evidence, including Ubisoft’s own security emails showing unauthorized access, their support team refused to return the account, claiming they couldn’t verify ownership—because the hacker changed the details!

As a result, I have lost all the games I legally purchased. To make things worse, this hack led to fraudulent transactions on my linked Steam account, yet Ubisoft refuses to take responsibility.

Their response? Close my case and ignore the problem. No refunds, no security review, and no accountability. If a hacker takes your account, Ubisoft will side with the thief over the paying customer.

I will never purchase another Ubisoft game again, and I strongly warn others against trusting this company with your digital purchases. If your account gets hacked, you will lose everything, and Ubisoft won’t care.

Ubisoft is a horrible company

There were the times when this company cared about making good games. The Assassins Creed 2 , Brotherhood, Revelations, Assassins Creed 3, Assassins Creed Black Flag and the last good game for me was Assassins Creed Unity.
After that all went to the downhill and nows the point where i don't get excited whenever they announce the new games. They made a decent game it had potential to progress but they shut it down because they are stupid enough not to realize the right time to launch a damn game, yes, i am talking about XDefiant the game was good i enjoyed playing it. The game felt a kinda similar to the Ghost Recon Phantoms i loved that game it was amazing and XDefiant was going to be my next FPS game i would have loved to play but no more.
The next i want to talk about the fact how they completely ignored the Prince of Persia Franchise and after years they released a 2D Platform shitshow of a game i mean might be decent for others but i prefered the games like Price of Persia The Two Thrones, Prince of Persia The Warrior Within.
Theres gonna be new AC game which i am not even excited because their previous game AC Mirage was trash.

My results are the same as the other reviews here.

I've got to agree with evertyhing I've read on here about any of the Ubi's. Mostly GOOD GAMES, Bad SUPPORT!
In April I bought two games on Steam. I tried to load them through my Ubisost Connect and it forced me to setup a new account because I couldn't remember my password. The account has my old email that I used 16 years ago when I setup the account and I no longer have access to the email. So with out the email and no password the only thing I can do is verify by phone it's my account.
Ubisoft support reads the claim and assumes it's a mixed account problem misses the no email and no password and cuts and pastes the standard banter about moving games from one account to another. Of course, with the 'Round Robbin' support system most companies are moving to today, none of the Ubi's (support calls their people Ubi-name to help the customer feel supported I geuss) read past the first line of a claim and assume that's the issue. This seems to be the problem with support today, no responsibility to fix the customers problem just give the customer enough info to be able to pass them along to someone else and collect your paycheck without really doing anything for the customer or noting a problem in the system.
So a month has gone by and I told them to fix the isssue or I'd close both accounts and never buy anythig else from them. I'll be closing the accounts on June 1 if no better results.

As bad as EA games.

I have been a Ubisoft Customer for many years, since the original Rayman on the PS1 and then Assassin's Creed on the Xbox 360. I am a massive fan of the Trials games and have bought them all over the years. However after dealing with Ubisoft Connect, I will now go out of my way to avoid buying anything from Ubisoft ever again. Ubisoft connect is complete garbage and it makes playing Ubisoft games orders of magnitude more difficult to deal with. From the app not connecting, or crashing, or wanting to always be online, or asking for the password over and over and over, to signing me out not more than 15 minutes since I last signed in (and ticked "remember me"), I've just had enough. Curse you Ubisoft and all of your greedy/incompetent executives making the decisions at the top. Alongside the microtransactions that are basically turning Ubisoft into EA Games, the latest Trials game and Riders Republic are both massive hot messes and clearly hasn't been planned properly or tested from a UI point of view, and that's even if I can play them due to Ubi connect garbage getting in the way. Games don't need a launcher nowadays, and Ubisoft's insistence to integrate everything more and more heavily in the terrible launchers has driven away a customer entirely. Well done Ubisoft, you probably wasted a great deal of money and teams of people to create Connect, and all it's done has ensured that a long time customer has grown to hate your organisation and I will be doing my absolute best to avoid playing anything you make in the future. The fact that I'm so angry with your company that I have to write a review here, simply makes me even more angry.

I hope you're happy, because I sure as hell am not, and I'm going to vote with my wallet. By the looks of the other reviews on here, I am not alone in my opinions. Well done, your corpoate leadership are cretins who are out of touch with their customers. Sack them all and replace them with an old mouldy potato hooked up to a random decision generator. It wouldn't make things any worse the way I see it.

the worst customer service I've ever seen

I accidently let my Game pass subscription lapse for an hour. Ever since then I have not been able to connect to Rainbow Six Extraction. I explained my situation to the tech support after waiting in queue for about 14 hours to talk to the rep for around 25-30 min only to be told that the issue I LITERALLY DESCRIBED in my ticket is gonna have to be escalated. They said they would get back to me in an email when they got around to it. I know I'm not the only one affected by this issue and really wonder What is the point of this horrible gaming app that doesn't have a simple verification program to reconnect on it's own or verify that I have my account in good standing. I love the game and think they did a great job with it but this headache of an issue is really souring my want to even look at that god awful app for any reason. Hopefully in the future Microsoft just puts the games on their Game Pass app so I don't have to deal with this abomination Ubisoft is trying to pass off as an app. Please Microsoft if you see this, which I know is very unlikely, please buy this company and make it better. Its only valued at 8 billion USD which is a steal compared to Activision Blizzard.

I have been waiting for said email for over 40 hours at the time of writing this reivew. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

Ubisoft is a horrible company

Ubisoft is a horrible company, they are interested only in making money and what streamers think of them, banning and rolling back a big part of their playerbase but not doing anything to the big-time streamerswho exploit glitches for their own benefit.

And when contacting support to complain about this, you don't even get an answer, the case just gets closed.
