Absolutely awful company. Wrecked our sofa during the move and refused to provide insurance details so that we could place a claim.
Left at the end of the day with part of our wardrobe and we had to sort out a replacement because they would not return.
They refused to communicate to discuss compensation.
Awful. Avoid at all costs.

UK home removal is the best removal company in UK I have used them twice I definitely recommend them

I received Armano and Jula. They’re just so amazing and very very help quick everything was wonderful. I was scare at the beginning I said my they gonna broke my TV and Fridge. But they definitely did a wonderful job. You guys can’t amazing how happy I’m. I will definitely use this service again.10000000% . Thank you again guys .

We have moved twice with UK Home removals now and both times the service has been superb. Moving is such a stressful thing so the calm confidence of Adam and his team, both in planning the move and executing it on the day, were so reassuring for us. The team worked swiftly and respectfully and we had no damages at all. Darin support and flexibility around managing the booking was amazing too. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Uk Home Removals have packed, stored and moved my 3 bedroom house. Up on collection all our goods have been very well packed and protected for storage. There service was amazing. I was impressed by there professionalism. In Brussels they had to take few items through the stairs as the lift was too small. We received a very good service. We used there cleaning service as well and the house was spotless. I would highly recommend this company. I will definitely use them again. Darin was amazing who booked me in I am surprised I see some bad review

Service not provided. Lies about delivery dates.
I had to move my moving date.

Both DARRIN and ADAM were abusive, threatening and rude. And they are trying to keep £550 of my money.

Disgusting service and people.

So, I went on a comparison site for removal quotes where details of the move required have to be entered and I received a message saying four trusted companies would be in touch. UK Home removals were one of them.
Their quote was cheaper than the others so I did expect a no frills service but the quote did include disassemble and reassemble of beds so I went with it. The quote also stated it was for 8hrs.
Prior to the removal, I had sent a video of what was in the house and garden and what needed moving.
I was quoted 2 luton vans and 3 men and it was reasonable to assume the company knew what it was doing when they attached the words "we can do your job" along with the quote.

On the day, I received a text saying the van wouldn't be with me until 10.25 despite me being told it would be by 10am. Then a van did arrive at 9.30 but the driver stood outside on his phone until the second van eventually showed up at 10.40.
(The third person I'd paid for eventually showed up about 11.30).

About half way through the move I was told by one of the men that the job was a three van move and not two and that I should contact the office. I told them I had taken a video of the property and garden but was met with a 'Its different when we get here' response and told it would probably cost another £400 for another van!!! I have an email stating what was quoted for the job I advertised so it was very much on the company if they had got it wrong. During the move, a chunk was taken out of the wall and stairwells were badly scuffed but I was so stressed by now that I chose not to bother mentioning it.
I managed to get a friend to come with a transit van just incase.

Once the vans were full, I was told that they were heading to my new address and pushed repeatedly for me to be as quick as possible, even though they had left me with a whole shed to unload and several big items in the house. They insisted I don't make them wait and that I get the keys to my new property quickly, although any removal company would know that is in the hands of the solicitors.
They told me (important to remember) that they were going for food and then on to the address.
My friend in the transit arrived and we got some more bits loaded but it became apparent we would not move it all. I had to make arrangements with with new owners to go back the following day to take the contents of the shed.

When we arrived at the new address is was nearly 5pm and I received a call from the company (Darin I presume), telling me that it was 5pm and that the 8hrs were up and I needed to pay extra. I told him that no one had started work until 10.40, so he asked to speak to the driver and for a while I heard no more.....until the end of the unload. I received another call stating that I only needed to pay an additional £140, despite the fact the vans were now empty and the men were ready to go and it was 6.40pm, so they had done 8hrs work.
This was countered by being told they'd not had a break, so I told him they had said they were going for food before heading to the onward address.
I was repeatedly told "my manager is saying" , however whenever I said I would take it up with the manager, this was denied.
The man on the phone then told me just to pay the driver and having realised I wasn't paying more than agreed, slammed the phone down. The driver then told me they weren't allowed to leave until payment was made. After such a long day, I paid the agreed amount while the three men were in my property and if I was the type to be intimidated by this I'm sure this is how this company gets its extra cash, which is the offence of demanding money with menaces.

To summarise.
1) online submission of job, quote comes in which wasn't up to it so I was left relying on family, friends and the good will of the new owner

2) demands for extra money despite the staff not working more than 8 hrs required and one man not showing up until well into the move

3) damage (although minor but annoying when money is being demanded)

4) extra money demanded despite agreement not being fulfilled. It was agreed beds would be dismantled and assembled, we were told on arrival we would have to it ourselves

5) No contract sent, no invoice for deposit, no invoice for final payment, no invoice detailing payment for waiting etc, no paper trail of any sort.

6) No opportunity to inspect property, belongings or building damage (as payment suddenly had to be made to the men as they were standing in your property), no paperwork detailing insurance covering damage etc.

7) Random demands for extra money that boarder on fraud and demanding money with menaces as there was the suggestion that someone could be intimidated into paying the random extra fees from 'the manager' to get the staff off their property.

Use this company if you want the most stressful day made worse.

I have seen a reply to another negative review, please consider this as the level this con man reaches.

One star because I can't give no star, this company sent a standard high top Mercedes sprinter van( 12 hours late) to move a one bed bungalow, they quoted an 18 cube meter van at £330, its cost another £330 from another company to execute move,(another 1 +1/2 hours waiting) sent complaint and no response, it seams once they have your money they don't care, would never recommend them.

The best removal ever I truly recommend every in London and UK they are really professional with there job theyou fast and cearful with there job.

We used Uk Home Removals to move us from South East London up to Cheshire. They guys arrived punctually on packing day and very efficiently and securely packed away the contents of our flat. The following day, they arrived at the destination before we did and very efficiently unpacked and dropped off some items at storage on their way back south. All of the stress of moving was taken away by these guys - I would recommend to anyone. Excellent value too. many thanks to darin

From beginning to end, he was really professional. The price was also quite reasonable. The removal crew arrived on time and worked tirelessly to navigate the challenging stairwells at both buildings. They wouldn't even take a break for tea. The booking, payment, and communication with the office were all very straightforward and efficient. I would definitely recommend this organization and would use them again if the opportunity arose...

Very polite and experienced staff, Kamran was really lovely guy to travel with and he helped alot making a 4 hour journey smooth.

I would not trust the review of Donna Chinery… she isn’t happy unless she is complaining about something. She has annoyed her friends, family, work colleagues, neighbours and even the local council. Due to her whinging.. maybe being in her mid 40s and still living with her mother has affected her.

Undoubtedly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Original quote was changed twice before the booking was even made, with the customer service rep being unable to communicate clearly as to why. I asked whether I will be sent an invoice and this was agreed upon.

Then on the day UK Home Removals contacted me 20 minutes after the moving van was supposed to arrive telling me the van is 74 miles away and will be with me in two hours. No apology, no offer of lowering the quote, customer service rep refused to accept any responsibility.
Upon finishing the move the customer service rep informed me I have to pay the movers immediately and in cash, which was not discussed at any point prior. The customer service rep didn't offer me any money off my quote for his movers turning up two hours late and then magnanimously offered to give me a £20 "discount" for my trouble, but categorically refused to give any more. When I asked if he could send me the invoice so I could pay them via bank transfer, he said he could send me the invoice "in the next three minutes" (ended up taking two days and two email requests), but insisted that this invoice needs to be paid before I receive it. So UK Home Removals made me walk out of my new home into an unfamiliar area at 8pm on a Friday to try and find a cash machine.

Do not use UK Home Removals if you can avoid them, communication with them is extremely poor and written in confusing English.

I would definitely use again, I had quite a complex move and they made it as easy as it could have been. They came on time and the van was big enough for all of my stuff.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They are just rent a crappy old van, who take no responsibility for the work the drivers do. If you want your move day to be the MOST stressful day of your life then go with this company!!

I requested a van to move a 2-bed house with lots of mirrored furniture – pick up at 12.00. On the day a man who I was frankly scared of, turned up in a clapped out ex post office transit van, 1 hour late and told me he didn’t have any experience and was actually a taxi driver. He told me he wouldn’t take my furniture as he didn’t have enough experience and the van was too small, so I needed 2 vans.

I needed to move out by 2 pm, he said he would only take the boxes and the other driver who would be there in 30 mins would take the furniture as he would be more experienced. I was so upset and had no choice but to agree as I was unable at that point to change my move date. He told me I would have to pay twice. I had no choice but to say yes. He loaded his van with all my boxes and then went to the off license. I call the office who clearly called him as when he came back he started shouting at myself and my boyfriend. He was super aggressive and I was extremely scared of him (i cried at least 4 times on the day) and he threatened to take everything out of his van, I was too scared to let him do that as he was so angry and knew my stuff would get broken.

We waited and waited and I kept calling the office and couldn’t get through to anyone, I must have called 30 times!! It was the most awful day of my life. I booked a company to take the stress out of moving and couldn’t have been further from the truth.

The 2nd driver finally turned up at 3.30 pm, in a correct size van (Luton). Why wasn’t this sent to start with?? He had nothing to wrap the furniture in but started to load it anyway. His van was almost empty when we left for the new house.

We finished unloading both vans at 5.30pm, so the 2nd driver only work for 2 hours and he insisted that I still had to pay for the drivers for 4 hours. I was scared as I just wanted my stuff in my house in one piece and upset so I agreed, which is crazy, then he told me he broke a £500 mirrored unit. He said he would fix it, but wanted all his money. We managed to withhold £100 until it was fixed, but tbh I never wanted to see either of them ever again.

The company take no responsibility for the van/ drivers or broken furniture. I’m appalled by this service, they shouldn’t be allowed to trade.

They said my furniture was insured, but because I was so upset and didn’t tell them on the day they told me I’m entitled to nothing.
