During this difficult time acting as Executor of mums estate it was refreshing for me to deal with a company who knew exactly what was needed in way of property insurance, during the probate period.

I came to Insurancenet.com via a sequence of " no qoutes because of spurious excuses.This is despite having decades of no claims submitted to the old company.The no nonsense approach with an ability to answer all queries was bloody excellent.

Really dreadful experience. On a renewal (for the 8th year no less) they asked if the contents insurance was sufficient. I said perhaps increase it as I had some new things and inflation. Then they refused to insure at all even for the existing amount and even if I accepted the under-insurance and accepted the risk myself. And the explanations given were completely nonsensical such as: if I told them the property was by a river or had subsidence then I couldn't withdraw that statement. Which is completely non-analogous to the contents insured amount. Extraordinary! And totally exasperating. And now I have no insurance. I was planning to pay the hefty premium for the cover by the way......
Suggest avoid this company.

Awful service, we had full buildings insurance in place, someone broke in and damaged / stole our newly refurbished expensive flooring. Crime reference number provided, ZERO PAY OUT. Avoid this firm like the plague.
