After a year of Thames Water insisting I had a leak, I was determined to get to the bottom of the matter by calling in professionals. UK Leak Detection had been recommended by a neighbour and I am very glad I booked them. Their engineer Alan arrived on time and swiftly got to work tracking down the source of the leak. He explained everything he was doing and after pinpointing the problem, he compiled a very detailed report which I can take back to the water company. The entire process from booking an appointment to receiving my report was smooth and straightforward - I would recommend them to anyone facing a mystery leak in their property.

I had an outstanding experience with UK Leak Detection and want to give special thanks to Alan, who carried out the investigation. After nearly two years of unexplained problems, stress, and worry, Alan managed to find a leak outside my property using specialist gas-tracing equipment. Watching him work was genuinely fascinating, he explained every step, let me walk around with him, and showed me exactly how the tools detected the leak beneath the pavement. I was honestly amazed by the technology and his skill in using it.
This issue has caused me untold stress and had a real impact on my health, but Alan resolved it in a single visit.
The sense of relief was enormous. It was the first time in a long while that I felt the problem was finally in safe hands.
It was a pleasure to pay the bill, and I even went straight to the pub afterwards for a celebratory beer. That's how much of a weight he lifted off my shoulders.

I've used UK Leak Detection twice now - was happy with the first time, so when I had another issue later then I went straight back to them, no need to shop around. End-to-end good service - from phone calls being immediately answered by a real person, through to good, very courteous and trustworthy operatives who get the job done. Luke attended both times, and he is great!

Extremely diligent and conscientious approach to the task

The UK Leak Detection team provided us with an exceptional service during a very stressful time - having no kitchen when expecting a baby in a month’s time is not the place to be!

Their on-site team (particularly Luke who was fantastic) were knowledgeable, helpful, diligent, friendly and most other positive words you can think of.

They were ably supported by the helpful remote team who made this stressful period as painless as it could be.

Dan did a truly brilliant job. Everything was explained clearly about the processes involving leak detection. This was methodically followed through. Dan was friendly respectful, attentive and explained things well he was very professional. I couldn't recommend more highly.

Having a leak in your house is obviously very stressful. I found the whole process from contacting the company, booking a time, being explained what the survey entails, and to the consequent visit of the engineer, very assuring. The engineer, Luke, was very professional and friendly. He was very happy to explain how the leak detection worked, which was very reassuring. I highly recommend the company.

Had Uk Leak Detection out to look for a leak that we had had for 6 months … no one seemed to be able to locate it … the guy that came out was courteous and respected our property .. after about 4 hrs of searching he found the leak and advised us on how to proceed …. Would highly recommend using them

I had a survey from the team at Leak Detection. They were professional, thorough and more than happy to explain their report and options for resolving our ongoing damp problems. I can't fault their knowledge and helpful attitude.

Very happy with the finding and fixing of my leak that showed no damage or signs.

Absolute waste of money. 4h and £500 later no result. The engineer was polite but we needed result and not baby sitting. And yes, of course, it is all my fault not allowing your engineer to clock another £500 on useless reports.

The only one star review was from my neighbour. It is not true. UK Leak detection are professional, polite and specialists. She should understand this could also be affecting her flat. She has been nothing but trouble please do not listen or read her review with anything more than a dramatic pinch of salt

Coming out to am emergency burst pipe on Christmas Eve was of course very very expensive but he came, fixed it and gave me good solid advice on dealing with the insurance going forward and urging me to get an electrician to check the safety of electrics going forward. Highly professional and very personable. I will save this number for any future plumbing emergency situations

Alan, the engineer who conducted our survey was thorough, professional and efficient. During his visit, he quickly diagnosed an initial problem (which proved to be the root cause of our damp walls) but continued to identify a further leak and also pursued other avenues of investigation for completeness.
Overall, we found this to be an excellent service and we valued the company's independence.
We would thoroughly recommend.
