This is a great course for beginners starting out in the industry. Well planned and thought out schedule lead by Chris & Ben who have years of experience in the industry.

Answered all questions genuinely and appropriately

Just completed the 4 day course, learnt a huge amount in that time but never felt overwhelmed with information. The tutors were fantastic and I feel ready to start working safe in the knowledge I can call on these guys if I ever need them. 5 stars

Brilliant team of hardworking locksmith who are kind enough to share their knowledge with whoever is serious in taking the necessary steps into this line of work, I was one of those seeking the skills that would eventually allow me to create my own business but remember this is an introduction, the real test is when you are out there putting what you have learnt with these guys and except all the tough challenges it comes with, cause trust me you will be tested and in the lessons they let you know this so consistency is key, but the support is professional and if you need advice even long after the course is done they are still happy to assist.

Side note - I just noticed a 1 star bad review and I can confirm that it is a horrible person with nothing else better to do than target hard working businesses into requesting money or they keep leaving bad reviews .... I know this well cause I have dealt with very similar low life rejects.

Big respect to UK Locksmiths Associations

I trained with UKLA a few years ago and have always found them to be professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive of the locksmith community.

Recently, I reached out to them about a new project I'm building – the UK Expat Locksmith Directory – and the team, particularly Adam, was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. They're actively helping promote opportunities for UK-trained locksmiths, which says a lot about their commitment to the trade.

It's a shame to see an unfair AI‑generated review on here – that doesn't reflect the real UKLA at all. In my experience, they're a solid association that actually cares about its members.

If you're a locksmith looking for proper training and ongoing support, I'd highly recommend UKLA.

I have come away from the 4 day course and I now feel ready to go out and work as a locksmith.

I liked the way that Adam, Ben and Chris were always in the training room before any of us students arrived and they were always professional and polite. I never waited for any help when I needed it and was happy with all the course folders supplied

Everything was hands on, we got shown what to do and then we tried ourselves using their tools .

I was pleasantly surprised on how quick and easy it is to cut a key and the profit that is possible

I had a cheeky look at tool prices online as a price comparison and even then the guys were spot on with their prices.

Overall I can highly recommend these guys

I would definitely recommend uk locksmith association if you are interested in becoming a locksmith or even just want the knowledge on how “all” locks work, I did the four day course and will say it was money well spent. I’m not the smartest chip on the block but the way they teach you sinks in good and I now feel more than comfortable to change or gain entry on any lock or door.
I can’t express how much I really appreciate everything you guys have taught me in such a short time. Thank you and wish you all the best.

terrible course..unprofessional did not keep their promises...Another get rich scheme as you will not be able to be a locksmith after 3 days...all teaching unprofessional especially for the price you pay.

Just finshed a 4 day course with these guys and what a great course it was, the guys adam and ben where great and explained everything in simple terms and where really frendliy and easy to get on with, i definitely do feel i have learnt a good deal of knowledge with regards to locksmithing and also fitting locks... i would 100% reconmend this course for anyone looking to get into the profession...

I took a weeks training course. Guys were professional and well versed in their teaching methods. Got on extremely well with the students and throughly enjoyed myself, as well as learning lots about locks.

So two years on... UK locksmiths could have been a little bit more thorough on some of the common problems in our trade, and i would urge these guys to pay more attention into opening mortice locks (5 lever) with picks? All in all, well worth what i paid for the course, but i wonder if i would have been better off going to MLA for the training?
