Money grabbing theives

So I've gone to Euro car parts at Chesington to collect a battery for my van . When i arrived there was no space to park at the front of the shop . I parked on the road away from other parked vehicles to aviod causing any inconvenience. On saturday i receive a parking fine for parking on yellow lines when there was nowhere else to park . I was there a full 7 minutes 21 seconds collecting the part . Not a happy custommer . If this is not revoked i will actively block anyone from using euro car parts in any way possible . Disgusting that insufficient parking is made available for customers. Surely there must be a law against this ? You cant stop and collect parts for your car but your hit with a £100 fine ?

At Their Mercy

So I get a penalty charge notice for a vehicle I do not own! on the top of the notice it quotes my car registration which is correct, however the photographs they have taken on their ANPR cameras show it being a different registration ON THE SAME FORM! This really exposes the careless and mindless way this organisation operates at and then hide behind not being contactable!….apart from having an appeal from! I have to appeal at their mercy and hopeful realisation they have made a stupid mistake and then wait 28 days for a decision! Their quality control is obviously zero and they will no doubt claim they deal with thousands of notices a day, so errors will occur! Well not good enough UKPC as you’ve caused me a great deal of distress and anxiety based on your error and by demanding payment which is unacceptable!

THIEVES AND SCAMMERS

THIEVES AND SCAMMERS

I parked my vehicle in a designated disability space and showed my disabled badge. I visited the disability office located across from the parking lot at Brent Cross shopping center.

They observed me parking over there. I talked to a staff member at their disability office helped centre, and they didn’t bring up anything about needing to show another badge or obtaining a different badge from them for parking there or to move my car from that bay because I wasn’t allowed to park there. Upon returning to my car, one of their employees approached me and informed me that I would receive a ticket for parking in that spot. When I questioned why they hadn’t told me about this while I was in the office, they simply ignored me and left. I have now been issued a £60 parking ticket because they stated I required anadditional mobility badge to park in that space.

I made an appeal to them, but I understood they wouldn’t be concerned about my worries, so my appeal was denied.

Completely unacceptable. When will retailers understand that they are jeopardizing their own businesses by permittingthis group of THIEVES to take from their customers?

Disgusting company that extracts money…

Disgusting company that extracts money from people through extortion. £100 fine received for parking ever-so-slightly over the white lines in a retail park for a few minutes. Had to park that way as the car in the next bay was so far over; couldn’t use the bay the other side of our car as it was covered in dog faeces which they hadn’t cleaned up (visible in their cctv photos that they sent to us), despite being the so-called guardians of the land there. For the record, a smaller car could have still parked in that space next to us if they didn’t mind stepping in it, so we weren’t even taking up 2 spaces.
Appealed on the basis that fine was unjustified and exorbitant but got the standard “get lost” letter in reply. They tell you that you can appeal to POPLA but threaten you that if you do and you lose, you must pay the full £100 instead of the reduced £60. Their letter also says that they must tell you by law about the Ombudsman Service that applies, but then point out that “we have chosen not to participate in their alternative dispute resolution service” (presumably because they ruled against UKPC so many times”?
So, through a series of threats and extortion they must be raking it in, because they’re not spending any of that money on keeping the car park clean and tidy.
Did ask the retail outlet that we visited to get involved as our company’s monthly spend in that particular branch was far in excess of the fine, but they declined, so we have cancelled our account there now as well. Basically, we now avoid any retail outlet patrolled by these crooks as we can’t be doing with worrying about whether some overzealous parking jobsworth will fine us for doing so.
And the icing on the cake……. when you go to pay them, the have the gall to charge you a £1.50 levy for doing so.
Their staff uniform must be a stripey jumper.

Scammers and in breach of contract

My partner got a parking fine on 8 Sept 25, he quickly popped into a shop and didn't realise he'd parked in a child parking bay. We did not receive the fine letter until 23 Sept 25 - we are not disputing the fine, we are disputing that UKPC are in break of contract as the letter states we had an opportunity to pay the reduced amount of £60 if paid within 14 days, how are you supposed to achieve this when the letter arrived after 15 days, forcing us to pay the higher amount of £100. I have contacted UKPC requesting £40 refund as they are in breach of contract by not allowing me 14 days to pay, but no reply. I will be escalating this to every avenue possible, Ombudsmen, fair trading etc. but I have to wait 28 days from me sending letter, to give them time to reply/resolve. I know it's only £40 but it's the principal that they are scamming people like this - absolutely disgusting company!

Absolutely disgraceful company

Absolutely disgraceful company. They didn't notify of their rejection of the appeal (despite the fact that it is very clear that the PCN was totally unjustified), then passed the case to ZZPS for debt recovery. Then ignored our email to their complaints team, then we received further correspondence from the debt recovery team. There's no humans to speak to on the phone either. Pathetic.

#Be aware of parking#I was unfairly…

#Be aware of parking#I was unfairly charged for a parking violation at Calabrese Court, Nokoto Drive, Stockmoor, Bridgwat was unfairly treated and effectively set up to fail by UKPC and their debt collection process.

Here’s what happened in simple terms:
• No parking ticket was ever put on my vehicle at the time of the alleged offence.
• The first letter didn’t arrive until almost a month later, leaving me little chance to deal with it properly.
• I appealed straight away, but by then the debt had already been passed to ZZPS — meaning my right to appeal was completely bypassed.
• My lease company, Tusker, was then pressured into paying £170 plus fees, while I also paid £60 myself. In total, I’ve been charged £230 for something that should never have gone this far.
• The car park itself is badly marked, with broken or hidden signs and no clear instruction that you must park in marked bays.
• I was only there for a few minutes to collect a prescription — yet no grace period was given, even though the BPA Code of Practice clearly requires one.

This whole situation has caused me financial loss, unnecessary stress, and has completely undermined the appeals process that drivers are supposed to rely on.
want to make it clear that the only way I was able to get UKPC to actually deal with me was by going through my credit card company. I raised a claim for the extra fine that had been forced onto me, and only then did UKPC finally engage. Off the back of that, I managed to get the ridiculous inflated amount refunded.

But I was still left having to pay the so-called “reduced” £60 fine — which is still extortionate for being in a car park for a few minutes with broken signs, no bay markings, and no grace period. I didn’t pay it because I agreed with it, I paid it because I had no other choice if I wanted this nightmare off my back.

The worst company in the world.

I have to give them 1 star because the option for 0 stars isn’t there!! without I doubt, the worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune of having to deal with their customer service is non-existent you cannot get hold of anybody to talk about any part of a parking fine claim appeal or complaint. In my opinion this company should not be allowed to operate because they do not give you any option to contact them whatsoever to any degree that can help me. An absolute joke of the company..

Dodgy Tactics

We're a moving company providing our services to a customer at an apartment in Kings Cross Estate London on 27/05/2025 at 14:04:34 packing and moving them, sweating hard to earn our money then we have a parking ticket come through our door all despite our customer booking parking 2 weeks in-advance with the concierge of the building showing us where to park promising we wouldn't get a ticket and that our vehicle was registered on their system yet we got a ticket, our van is fully wrapped indicating we are a moving company with all of our services on all sides which shows in the pictures of the van taken by the warden, we can't leave the back of the vans doors open as they contain expensive moving equipment as well as peoples personal belongings as we're moving them.

They then decide to send us countless letters harassing us for payment despite appealing it, and having the parking registered, not sure how companies like this are ethical to operate from the way they do things it's all mumbo jumbo.

This is legal robbery

This is legal robbery, and this company is a expert in taking people's money. I was issued a ticket for parking over the line as the car parked next to me was parked in an angle i could not fit in the bay, so i appealed and explained that i would not be able to open my door if i parked within the bay they refused my appeal and told me fine was correct. So i guess its a standard process there is no apeal panel If you appeal they will still say you are wrong and have to pay. Then they offer you to appeal again separately with a independent board but you will end up paying more of the decision goes against you so the catch is you end up paying the initial £60. UKPC making money on people's pain. Well done for being the best of the worst company.

Absolute scammers. Should be banned.

These scammers sent me a ticket for 60£ for parking for more than 90 minutes. Was about to pay but luckily checked the car journey history which revealed the I only been there for 50 minutes. Sent them all the evidence and asked for cancellation of ticket and an apology plus reprimanding their wardens.
But instead got back a demand to pay reduced charge of 30£. Couldn't believe they had the audacity to do this.
Lodged an appeal last night and they withdraw this morning. I do not do bad reviews but these kind of companies should be named and shamed. And need intervention by government agencies to ban these scammers.

Title: No Fair Appeal Process — Pay First, Then No Appeal Allowed

I was issued a Parking Charge Notice and wanted to appeal. However, as soon as I paid, they immediately closed the case and stated that appeals are no longer accepted after payment. If you try to appeal first, they demand payment before even considering it.

This feels like a catch-22 designed to prevent genuine challenges. Paying shouldn’t automatically mean you lose your right to appeal. It’s unfair and lacks transparency. Beware if you want to dispute the charge — they basically force you to pay first and then shut down any further review.

Not a customer-friendly or fair process at all.

Exploitative company

Parked in a disabled bay, but due to distraction from my son's behaviour leaving the car ahead of me (he needs full supervision) I forgot to place his disabled badge in windscreen No fee would have been due wherever I parked, so it was purely positioning near the door. I received a parking for of £60, rising to £100 if unpaid. I explained what had happened and provided photos of both the disability badge for my son and the venue booking (disabled and carer). Despite this, UKPC insisted on levying a fine - albeit £20, and then also even charged an extra "admin fee" of £1.50 when I made the online AUTOMATED payment. The law truly needs changing to deal with these practices. There was categoric physical evidence of correct parking, and no fee due anyway, yet such is the greed and immorality of this company it insisted on exploiting the situation with my son's behaviour for financial gain. Added to that, the correspondence itself is threatening, intended to scare and blackmail people into paying. Even the statutory mrntion of an appeals process comes with the threat of vastly increased fees, costs, debt collectors and court action if you lose. What a disgusting company and group of people.

Good Afternoon

Good Afternoon,

I am writing in dispute and to appeal the fraudulent penalty charge I received on 17/05/2025 whilst parked at Gallions reach shopping park -A-D, E6 7ER, due to staying 10 minutes more than the maximum stay of 4 hours. My daughter became ill and I had to take her to the restroom till she was bit better. I tried to find security so I could ask if I could pay or if there was something I could do since it had been 10 minutes more. However I couldn’t find anyone, so I asked one of the workers and was told that it was fine and there was nothing to worry about. So after getting the wrong information from the staff and with my daughter in terrible condition I left assuming it was okay.

Thank you and I shall wait to hear back.
Best,

3rd ticket appealed , all incorrectly issued

I have had to appeal three parking tickets on different occasions and in different vehicles. Each appeal was won after providing proof of payment,

It appears that the ticket machines are useless at confirming when customers pay and enter their reg numbers.

A complete waste of time and unwanted stress dealing with appeals.
