Had an immobiliser fitted to my Land Rover by the team. On completion I was given a full demonstration of the package. Everything worked perfectly and I left the workshop feeling very pleased with the result. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the team. Great work!!

Excellent response to my initial inquiry from Richard and subsequent follow up from him with flexibility on payment due to it being a weekend. Installation on the day was dealt with by Rob and Mark and everything went very well with the upgrade being completed inside the 90 minutes quoted. The upgrade is working beautifully and Apple Play works perfectly. Fully integrated with the existing controls of the SLC and works seamlessly.

Many thanks to all of the team including the receptionist whose name I unfortunately didn’t get, but she managed the front desk great 😀.

I had a dashcam hard-wired into my Mazda by Rob, just under a year ago. The last couple of weeks it's been playing up. I took it back, and explained the problem (power issue). It was sorted out (loose connection) by one of the team in less than 30 minutes. Not only that, they did free of charge! Top company, top team, and I would thoroughly recommend them!

Just been back for refitting my Ghost immobiliser. Removed by the guys at Unique about 5 weeks ago from my previous car and refitted in my new car today. Quality support as usual, fast and thorough work today. Great value and all working perfectly. Many Thanks guys.

I had an issue with the reverse camera on my Mercedes C63. I was initially told it was a faulty camera, so I bought a second-hand replacement that was supposedly for a C-Class/C63—but it didn’t work. I ended up buying three more cameras before realising something wasn’t right.

That’s when I came across this business through a Mercedes forum, and I’m so glad I did. The service was absolutely impeccable. I travelled over three hours to see Mark, and it was well worth it. He quickly identified the problem—the cameras I had been buying were for vehicles with Audio 20, not the COMAND system that the C63 uses.

It also turned out the car needed proper programming to accept the camera, which Mark was able to do on the spot. Absolute lifesaver. Couldn’t be happier with the service—highly recommended!

I had both a ghost immobiliser and carplay retrofit to my AMG GTS by Unique, and cannot praise them highly enough. They were super helpful when the carplay unit developed a hardware issue and swapped it out with no quibble whatsoever. On top of this, they went above and beyond when my car developed a transmission issue, unrelated to their work. They reconfigured, updated and ultimately deinstalled the ghost for me to help with diagnosis, and reinstalled it when the (unrelated) issue was fixed. All quickly, cheerfully, and without fuss. Richard, Mark and Rob are absolutely top chaps, and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to anyone needing in-car tech upgrades or retrofits, especially for Mercedes/AMG vehicles. Thanks guys - this level of customer service is rare these days.

If you want to experience what real customer service is like, don't bother with with Mercedes main dealers, come here instead. Mark & Richard, infact the whole team, are petrol heads and treat your car as if it were their own. They performed a Hermes update from 3G to 4G, complete software update, and it works absolutely bob on! Bare in mind the data card for the car is also amended, meaning ultimately the build plan for the car is changed and as such the relevant Mercedes me apps remain in place. Along with if your car did have to go back to Mercedes dealers fir some reason, they would see this as a legitimate upgrade...which if course it is. They could seriously not do enough for you. And ultimately see any issues that arise as a challenge that they will get round. I'm an engineer myself, also electronically trained and these guys really are switched on. Also, if you have Burmester audio in your Mercedes. Then you're probably thinking, as I was, that it's the best thing since sliced bread sound wise...its not, the amp is superb but the speakers! Get these guys to fit a Blam set of speakers in for you, then you'll notice the difference. It's like going from an ok stereo set up to a high-end setup which an audiophile would be proud of.
The round trip for me is 280 miles, honestly for the service you get and the support, it really is worth it. Highly recommended!

It's so nice to find an independent business who really love what they do, and get the job done right. My smile was ear to ear all the way home listening to the upgraded sound system. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I chose Unique due to the long list of recommendations on one of the Mercedes forums I use and I haven't been disappointed. Mark and Rob are very knowledgeable, friendly and professional and they've provided a system that I think is actually better than the Harmon Kardon in my previous car. They also have a habit of fixing other issues whilst the car is (which is great) and, on top of all that, they are complete petrolheads. Thoroughly recommended.

I have a Merc ML 350 2011. The mobile bluetooth link worked but I was unable to listen to music in the car from my Spotify account. I asked several firms for help but only Richard responded. He advised me to purchase a specific piece of kit and told me how to install it. It worked perfectly.
I have no experience of the work carried out by Unique Car Sound but if this is the customer service they offer - for free - then it is 5 stars from me.

Excellent service from this company-advised on best unit to have installed. The fitting was done at home as fitted to large campervan, everything explained in how to use. Very pleased with results. Can highly recommend this company.

I agreed a price for Apple Car Play and the installation of a cable for my dashcam in my E-class Mercedes. Apple car play work was OK but they didn’t have a cable for the dashcam and didn’t tell me until they finished the Car Play work. When the remainder of the work was rescheduled to coincide with the cable delivery suddenly the price changed (for the worse). Phone conversations were met with “I’m not going to argue, this is the way it is!”. If I’d have known they didn’t have a cable I would have postponed the work but their communication is very poor. Their attitude is very unprofessional and they won’t get anymore money from me.

My Mercedes NTG system malfunctioned and called them on a Friday. Managed to get it booked in the following Monday. Mark took the job, very helpful and knows everything to do with Mercedes etc. I used my warranty company and Mark accommodated the extra checks and made sure I wasn’t out of pocket through the claim. Very friendly, very helpful and highly recommend

From my initial enquiry and contact with Becky, through to the install and subsequent being taken through the new install I have to say, Mark Becky and Rob were simply awesome ! It's very refreshing to find a small privately owned company that really do believe in true customer service and value for money. So often now, it's large businesses and you are just another tick in the box for them. With The Unique Team that could not be further from reality. They installed Apple Car Play and a reversing camera in our mini clubman and their price was the most competitive out there and the service was first class. I fully recommend using them and will be returning when the need arises.

Just had a superb Pioneer double-DIN DAB / Bluetooth head unit with Apple Car Play & reversing camera fitted to my elderly BMW X3. Initial contact with very helpful and knowledgeable Becky and installation booked for a week later. All completed in a day despite having to reposition all the heater controls and fit an adapter to the dashboard.
Rob and Mark really know their stuff and quality of installation was great. Took time to demonstrate system to me upon collection and set-up everything.
Although not exactly cheap (total cost £1100) I wanted a system that would bring my car's infotainment system up to modern standards and am very pleased with the results.
These are real professionals that take pride in their work and care about supplying the best equipment to suit the customer's needs and budget. Sure Halfords could've probably fitted something a lot cheaper but I wanted a professional job and was happy to pay for their knowledge and skills.

Driven Mercedes for 15 years so know this company well. Recently my 4 year old Audi A7 developed the same GPS antenna problem that my CLS did and I called them to see if they could fix it despite the fact it was not the Mercedes Comand system.

Absolutely said Becky! Done & dusted within 45 minutes at a fraction of the cost Audi were asking. Quality of work is first class; all trim refitted tightly and no squeaks.

They’re straightforward straight speaking people who provide a great service.

Would definitely highly recommend for all GPS & in-car media issues.

I’ll also be heading back there for the retro fitted heated seats for my daughter’s Audi A1.

Great job by Richard & the guys, after searching all over for someone to fix my Mercedes Comand system, I was finally pointed in their direction by another installer as they have the specialist equipment to deal with Mercedes. Although it was a 300 mile round trip, the work was completed in a couple of hours and I was impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of all involved. I might add that the cost was about a third of what my local dealership would have charged.Many thanks
