Absolutely horrific experience
Absolutely horrific experience! Placed order and was given installation date, called them the following week to confirm all was going ahead as had other trades to follow, I was told my LVT flooring was on the van on its way to the store so all ok for fitting. The following day I was told the flooring was delayed and couldn’t be fitted. After chasing for over a week with no return calls and no one answering the phones I went into the store to be told they couldn’t get the flooring I had chosen and would need to choose another one (cheaper) it was eventually fitted although the fitter doesn’t work work full days. The after service is horrendous and when asked for a refund for the difference I was told it would be dealt with but 2 weeks later I am still waiting. Will never use again.

Headboard for the single bed came…
Headboard for the single bed came without sticks to connect with bed and we informed United carpets couple of times. But not sorted it yet. We received delivery on 4 th July and till now not sorted.

Waited for 5 weeks for the carpet to be fitted but when it came it was the wrong size and has had to be re ordered so it means another 3 weeks to be delivered to the shop and another wait to be fitted,so from ordering and paying it will be about 8 weeks!!

We came into the shop and wasn’t bombarded with sales pitches so it was relaxed and able to look around at our on speed. Once we decided what we wanted. The gentleman sorted out a price for us and then arranged for delivery and fitting. On the day of fitting the man called and arrived as agreed and before we knew it the carpet was fitted. Great experience from beginning to end. Just need to add that we always buy flooring from here and never once had any problems. Great company and great service 👏👏

I cannot thank United Carpets & Beds in Northfield enough for the outstanding service they provided. I was preparing my home for my dad’s funeral and had family and visitors travelling from abroad, so the timing was extremely important.
The team went above and beyond to help me, making sure my carpets and mattresses were delivered on time and everything was ready when I needed it. Their kindness, understanding, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate my situation meant so much during such a difficult period.

Have used united carpets a few times, but this last time im not happy the fitters didnt glue the rail across the floor properly, also left all their rubbish on my balcony, and the big roll what the lino came on , also on my balconey, will never use them again.

Timely, professional and good value
I was impressed with the staff in branch who offered helpful and direct advice, not trying to upsell but giving me straight advice for a product within my budget range. They organised installation at a reasonable price and the fitter turned up and did a nice tidy job with no fuss. Overall a very professional and refreshing experience where everything went to plan and they did exactly as promised.

Firstly we are very pleased with our new floor, the product seems to be of good quality and was laid well.
What you can work on is communication, on the day of measurement no one arrived within an hour of our time slot so I called the store to be told he couldn’t leave as a colleague was stuck in traffic subsequently holding him up, so why wasn’t I called to advise this? I then went to shop to pay deposit and booked for fitting. On day of fitting no issues until fitter wanted payment, I assumed I paid shop once happy with fitting and finish, never ever was it mentioned that fitter needed payment on the day, thankfully he was happy with bank transfer.
This is basic that we should not be criticising you for.
