The internet sucks. They take the money, automatic extends the contract but forgot to give internet. Their speed is like tortoise, even the tortoise is more dependable than them. It feels like living in the 18th Century. Even pigeons can deliver faster message than them. Go and hire a horse, it's better than buying a unforgettable contract from unitymedia. Even i have to post this atleast three times because the Internet is still not working.

I applied for Internet at unitymedia on Mai 29th and I still don't have it. I cannot even reach their customer service as the waiting time is very very very long and they refuse to speak English.
They send me bills each month and getting payed for it without even doing the installation of the cables to my apartment.

Really bad experience with Unitymedia, got Bills for orders I never did.
Also the repeal for this order is handicapped from Unitymedia as much as possible. Never expected such a procedure from this company so far

WORST COMPANY EVER! Sign with them at your own peril because all they do is lie and cheat customers then scam them off their contracts. Absolutely disgraceful they are!

Such a horrible customer service that he was unwilling to listen to me or my problem, cut my call let alone solve it. This is totally unacceptable behaviour. Isn't the first golden rule of customer service is not to terminate the call and sad part was that I had to wait for over 8 minutes to connect the call.

I am Student in Germany. My house internet is not working from last month. Every day I need to contact Unitymedia customer service. They are set up appointment and technician doing work and internet hardly work for one hour after I need to follow same process Evey day but Unitymedia has no solution about my problem. Without giving me service they are deducted WLAN monthly charge.

The reviews here says it all about UM and mirrors same experience I have had with them. I entered into contract with them after they have agreed that i will be allowed to cancel when I am leaving Germany before expiration of contract. Exactly 3 months to my departure, I contacted them and there was no response and several attempts through calls and emails have proved abortive. Now they want me to pay for services i didnt use. I have decided to take the case with them to any level. This brazen criminality should not be allowed to go unchallenged.

Company is so bad they say 24 7 days support for business customers but I have waited 4 days and you cannot get a hold of anyone by email or phone so bad!

One of the worst experiences I've ever had and they tought me to only make contracts with people, who will quickly respond to your emails and calls, even if you dont say who you are!!
I've had to fight with them for more than a year to quit the contract I had terminated well in advance.
And because of their unclear and incomplete information I had to pay 100€ after the termination. Just a horrible experience.
And the prices are not that exceptional either to justify this bad service.
Even if the internet was good, its definetely not worth over a year of legal dispute (rechtsstreit) afterwards. Cost me so much time and money...

I've learned from them that websites like trustpilot are a must in times like these.

They have the worst internet I've ever dealt with. If you call them for help, the chances are high that they will hang up on you. Once you do reach someone, the chances are also high that you'll just waste your breath telling them the issues since they won't be resolved. On top of that, the internet crashes frequently. As you can imagine, this is problematic for someone who works online.

I recently had to move out from our rented flat as we bought our own. In the new building there is no infrastructure provided by Unitymedia (this was confirmed by their technician). Even under these circumstances, they still ask us to pay for 3 months a service that we cannot use because of them!! This is not ok and we will probably consult a lawyer on this matter. Please keep this in mind before you sign a contract with them.

I wish I have the option: 0 (zero) star, because that bad is this company. When you see it, turn around and run. Don't ever enter into their shop, because they will lie to you just to make you sign the contract! That happened to me: I told them I will stay only few months in Germany, and specifically asked them what will happen. And they lied, they said: "You send the Abmeldung and we will cancel the contract, because you don't have to pay for something you won't use."
Makes sense, right? Well, it's a lie, because I sent the Abmeldung and unitymedia told me I have to pay 3 months more after I leave the country, because they have a German law that protects companies, not citizens. So, never sign a contract with them! Because they deliberated lie, I think this is called "perjury" in a civilized country, sure not in Germany!!!

Massive scam company !

I gave unitymedia (kundenservice) notice on 12 March that I wanted to cancel my contract end of May as I was departing Germany to American orders to a new location effective 9 June.. fast forward to now, they are going to charge me until end of September... How can they get away with this?! Outrageous, dishonest, no customer service (emailed several times, went to local Vaihingen office, and had German translator call them and talked with 3 people!). They refused to fix it.

So, the service looks ok. Wifi seems to crash once every two weeks for a few minutes otherwise ok. For the probleme now: the customer service is one of the worst i have ever seen. It is almost impossible to contact someone by mail or phone. The second thing and this one is glorious : the web page. I have never ever seen a web page so full of bugs. It looks modern but it is not. Its full of adds and crappy scripts. Impossible to change the password, impossible to contact the customer service.... And finally a bit of hate on behalf of Unity and their monopole on internet connexion. I live in aachen and if i want an internet provider i must chose unity. No other solution, apart maybe satelite internet. Thank you guys. Telecomunication in germany seems to be a hell on earth, probably one of the worst in an advanced country.

Their internet sucks ! It is slow and you lose connection EVERY SINGLE DAY! Their customer service doesn't speak English and literally just hangs up the moment you ask them if they speak English. I am disgusted of the company and their services. DO NOT USE UNITYMEDIA!!!
