100% prepayment and no guarantees
Uno Form is requiring 100% prepayment without providing any security in case of their bankruptcy or poor quality. We spent several months choosing the design and material and now when we are ready to buy and pay, just with additional guarantee that we will not loose our money - they choose to ignore a customer willing to spend a substantial amount securely. The answer is "my way or no way", seems they are not interested at all in the customers and push all the risk over to their clients. Apparently they just do not care enough...

Dear Julia
As most furniture and kitchen manufactures, who makes customized kitchens, individual and for specific customers, we always ask for some kind of prepayment.
We only produce by order and have nothing in stock. Kitchen, worktops etc. is made only for you, and can not be sold to others.
In your case we gave you more options to make you payment. But none of them was unfortunately accepted by you. We did not only demand 100% prepayment as you stated.
Bank guarantee was also an option for you, but for some reason this was not accepted by you.
We proposed a deposit in a closed account.:
Released in following rates:
1. By delivery of cabinets: 70%
2. Delivery of worktops, and worktop installation : 26%
3. When installation is finished: 6%
The Terms of Payment given to you are standard procedure. uno form and our owner Nobia AB / Nobia Denmark always offer financial security. Which means in the case of prepayment, Nobia Danmark a/s acts as guarantor so your money is never lost.
Further more we are members of KAF (Køkken Anke Foreningen) If a consumer buys a kitchen, bath or wardrobe from a member of the KAF, the consumer can, in the event of a dispute as to whether there are defects in the delivered product, make a complaint to “Byggeriets Ankenævn” This is a consumer-approved appeal board.
We are sorry, but we were forced to stop the order: deadline was up. There was no signed agreement, and the kitchen was going to production.
We do care, and we will be more than happy to finish the work and effort you and we have put into this.
