Quite useless to be fair
No proper description of items
... I emailed them about an item...they never responded.... I then checked the website again.. And item shows out of print... Seem like cowboys this company is run by

Ordered some books at the start of the month and the order took over 2 weeks to arrive which makes sense since they had to order them from the publisher in the states, so no complaints there. Customer service were helpful with an order update when I messaged them and when they final got ahold of them they arrived within a few days. If you’re looking for difficult to find manga volumes I can recommend them highly.

I ordered a hard to find complete bluray series (Dragon Ball Super) through Up1 on the Saturday just gone.

They sent off my order straight away on the Monday morning and it arrived the next day in excellently wrapped condition.

I'm very happy with the speed and condition of my item, and the item I purchased was at least £20 cheaper than anywhere else selling it.

At first I thought this website was a bit suspicious, but when I order it, it lets you pay through paypal which you can get a refund on, it came in quick(within 2 days). So as a service, it's pretty quick.

I've only used UP1 a couple of times, but they've been great every time, certainly, one of the best places to get import US/AU releases, paying on a UK site means you avoid the hassle of international shipping and VAT "service" fees that many delivery companies charge. The website could certainly use a lick of paint, but that doesn't really have any impact on the overall process.

Used UP1 a few times, great service and instock items always come next day, if a product is not in stock then it can be a lengthy wait of a month or more but generally their service is very good.

I often frequent many Japanese Anime and culture conventions and always visit their stall for manga and DVD/Blu Ray purchases. They have always been friendly and helpful in person but this is the first time I have purchased from their website; what a great experience it was!

Although some may find the design to be a little off-putting, don't. These guys are totally legitimate and offer fantastic service and competitive prices, also having a base in the UK as well as the US is a big plus!

As an Anime fan it is very disheartening that we in the UK often miss out on many series releases that only ever seem to make it to the US or elsewhere. United Publications offer UK releases along with US imports of the vast majority we never see in the UK. In order to own physical copies of series in high quality Blu Ray I imported an American player (for around £30) in order to watch American Anime Blu Rays which work on Region 1/A.

I recently purchased Black Butler Book of Circus DVD/Blu Ray Combo which of course is an American release. United Publications regularly import US titles and save us the hassle of paying import fees and waiting weeks for customs. I was able to purchase through the US website as it worked out cheaper after exchange rates, this is still shipped from their european warehouse!

My preorder was processed quickly and was shipped within 1-2 days, packaged well and came undamaged. It of course worked perfectly on my American player.

Overall I am extremely satisfied with their service. Any questions I had were promptly answered and the ability to pay in dollars to (hopefully) save money was fantastic! I have also preordered Black Butler Book of Murder which comes out this month, I can't wait!

I will definately use them again very soon! :D

first when i found up1.co.uk on google i emailed to them about shipping to denmark, and they said i could also check out their us side at up1usa.com but in general they got really good and fast email responds, and they shipped my blu-ray order of "Asobi ni Iku yo!" good packed in a bigger box so it couldn't fit in my mailbox but other than that, there is only thumbs up for me and i will order again ^^
