Sarah and the Upper Clarity team offer and provide a heart-warming space to explore the realms of stone medicine. In the beginning I thought I may do one class and see how it went, and now I keep going back. The courses are tailored to suit a beginner or one of the most educated Chinese medicine practitioners or stone medicine people. The density of the information we receive from Sarah is hard to quantify and feels almost tangible. Whilst based solidly within a Taoist standpoint, Sarah has a way of layering information over different mediums of understanding, from the complete Wu to a very scientific anchoring, which helps to understand and digest

I have experienced personal healing through my work with the stones, and an understanding of how to apply the knowledge in the outer world. I am at a loss as to what the rest of my life might have been had I not come across these classes. I am honoured to have participated with Sarah and the team, but also with the most amazing collection of people that I have met through my stone medicine journey at Upper Clarity. I can't recommend doing one of Sarah's courses enough, there is a depth to this knowledge that is hard to find elsewhere

One really nice thing about Sarah’s online classes is how adaptable they are. Her table is carefully set for new and experienced healing practitioners of all kinds to develop practices with stones. For me, her classes provided enough diverse activities and material that I could completely immerse myself in stones when I had more time. Or during the more challenging busy times, I could easily take in smaller amounts. Each could be equally transformative. She gives suggestions on important basics, and from there each person can work with practices that fit them best. She shares quite powerful ancient understandings for transformation, both for self and beyond. Once you focus and commit, It will link you deeper to the miraculous essences of the natural world around us.

I took my first class with Sarah over 10 years ago. Since that day i have continued to invest in her work, because each experience has given me a powerful platform to focus, transform and heal while meeting the pressures and changes going on in my life. I am so grateful for the deep network of support it gave me during a most challenging decade of personal and family illness and death Three close family members died (five if you count my dear Great Dane and Rottie lab). And the two remaining almost died with sepsis and a stroke. And that virus thing. It has been a transformative journey, and the stonalist community was like an anchor for me to pause, rest and heal.

Go deep. Sarah’s classes provide a framework for building the new. Plus it is great fun.

I started studying with Sarah back in 2014. To say that Sarah’s classes have changed my life would be an understatement. As an acupuncturist myself, I have appreciated her deep respect and honor of the Daoist teachings. She has a way of bringing the ancient wisdom of the past into tangible and illuminating relevant information for today’s times. I have been a student of Sarah Thomas for several years since I met her at a seminar led by Jeffrey Yuen. In addition, I have studied with Jeffrey Yuen for many more years. As a medical professional and a national lecturer, I speak from experience when I say that it can be challenging to teach a combination of western and eastern/energetic theories. It requires skill to teach in a way that is accessible to other medical professionals who have only studied one approach to medicine. However, I have found that Sarah is adept at merging these two areas of medicine in her teaching. I have taken most of her courses and have found them all to be informative and enlightening. Her staff is also very professional and helpful. Jess, in particular, was always able to provide me with the information I needed, and if she didn't know the answer, she would follow up with me later. I have developed the skill of analyzing both positive and negative reviews to assess the quality of a product. When I come across a review that seems unusual or unexpected, I tend to research more of the reviewer's opinions to understand their perspective. Based on my research of Sarah's social media presence and reviews, I believe she maintains a highly professional approach in her teaching and strives to deliver the best quality content from multiple sources. It impresses me when individuals attend seminars where they are already knowledgeable about the subject matter, in hopes of gaining new insights that they can pass on to assist others in their learning process. Year after year I run into Sarah at different Jeffrey Yuen seminars and energetic conferences. I recommend her courses to anyone interested in learning more about the utilization of stones.

I have taken almost all the classes they offer (including several months of flying back and forth from NYC to North Carolina to study with them in person before the online programs were available)! Each container brought me deeper into my heart and greatly expanded my relationship to the stones. I have had the privilege of sitting with Sarah and the stones since walking into one of their classes at the Southeast Wise Woman Herbal Conference in 2013. Walking through that threshold almost 10 years ago changed my life.

Sarah offers teachings in ancient Daoist Stone Medicine through the Jade Purity lineage that they have been students of for over a decade. I have been studying with Sarah since 2014 and it has been the best investment I've ever made. I keep all of my notes in several notebooks that I routinely use as references in my herbal practice. My growth in many areas has skyrocketed upward since taking a deep dive into her offerings. It's actually pretty hard to find words that would accurately describe the level of value you receive when taking her courses and each one is packed with useful and informative material.
