Ok follow along this Journey: Ok recently stopped mail and supposed to pick up at Post Office, Direct Express sent Card to me due to $175 of fraud now I'm not able to do anything online with my card must make pin purchases only, and a stranger had no card and was able to make transactions. So now I need another Card issued paid for expedited UPS never attempted to deliver package due to address problem got that corrected and a second card was now stopped waited 3 days this time no tracking number no info I believe my number was blocked I verified address package never arrived went back to Direct Express no Shipping Label was in the package basically UPS says no postage paid send it back, the Cowards that work at Direct Express should be investigated for what there doing to customers now 2 weeks no pay no Money at all, 2 Months ago I have multiple direct deposits and I canceled one of two at Direct Express when I got paid went to get groceries and Card doesn't work I investigate it and Direct Express reasoning was Unusual Activity on the Card I never used it or did anyone else it's because when the see you changing Banking information the like to play little games with people causing hardships intentionally which is totally unethical and a poor way to operate especially on a Government Contract...

Hello on September 5th 2025 I called at 1207 p.m to set up a SSI card for my son. I was on hold for over an hours I talked with two people. I talked with a woman that changed her name from Melanie to Marie in a matter of moments. Which isnt suspicious at all? Yeah right! Then I called on September 10th and I found out they they didn't even update my information or send a card out like they said they did last time. I was stuck on the phone even longer at an hour and a half and I didn't finish my business at all. So far it's not good. So because of them my check will be probably delayed to come on time! Also I wouldn't be surprised if I was scammed by these people! Use caution!!

Well resently I had a issue with my card right on Sept 3 2025 I was able to pay a few bills n buy groceries through Walmart app everything went fine so I call the people they ask was anyone else using my card cause it was compromised I said I m the only one I try to purchase Amtrak ticket it say declined I had a lot of funds on that day I had to get another card yesterday it work a bit but still the same issue what going on I can't keep getting cards like this y'all mess with my money I m glad I could use atm n other things it just online purchase.

Extremely long hold. the first person answered after an hour and a half, then they couldn't figure out what was going on with my id verification, so they sent me to another representative. I was on hold for another hour and a half only to be told by the representative that I was sent to the wrong department and put me back on hold. After my phone hit 3 hours and 40 minutes, my phone cut itself off. If it wasn't for my kids needing this money, I would never have bothered with them to begin with. I would never suggest them to anyone.

One star is more than they deserve, they decided an autopay was suspicious and shut my cards off several times, this time just before payday, haven't recieved my cards and payday was yesterday. Anybody on ssdi knows we are out of everything by payday and because direct express cares about profit not people I don't have cards to buy groceries. Called customer service several times after outrageously long wait times I got to talk to customer service reps who made it clear I don't matter I should shut up and deal with it and then hang up. Migrated to another provider, I am done with direct express and their rude uncaring attitude. Comerica bank should be proud.

I'm carrying an invalid card, but I wasn't told. It's Labor Day weekend, and I can't access my money. All due to Direct Express I have been holding for service for 93 minutes.

I would give e a zero or negative zero if I could .I purchased a laptop from Amazon and it wasn't what I wanted sent it back and got a refund .My debit card is set to expire at the end of August and direct express sent a new card to replace it .we got the refund but it went to the old card .You would think direct express would transfer it to the new card which makes more sense but no they want to do an investigation as to why the refund went to the old card which was still active when we made the purchase we activated our new card and it canceled out the card that is set to expire .so now we have to wait on a document to come in the mail and fill out a bunch of crap and wait 45 to 90 days to get our money back I dont see why they have to be so dumb at direct express they see the money in the account but will not transfer it to the new card .so we may or may or may not ever see our money again .

It takes 90-120 minutes to talk to an agent. Then you get a run around. Have spent a little over 6 hours on hold between 3 calls. My card was hacked & trying to activate the new card, still not activated. Can take 90 days to replace the stolen money. Not sure what country they are in but hard to understand & the agent said they only have a few agents & a lot of calls.

Can't resolve purchase denials. When you call in to direct express they say to call mastercard. You call mastercard and they automatically send you back to direct express. Nothing gets resolved!!!!

This is the biggest joke for a banking establishment I've ever been involved with. I would give minus stars if I could. Best advice for anyone who even thinks about using them, DON'T. They're a joke and not a funny one either. They have kept my friends money, over $15,000 for over 3 weeks now. It's caused him to loose his car, his insurance, his house, his dog died from not being able to feed him, hes lost all of his belongings and his dignity, and no where to turn or no where to go. He's now nearing a heart attack or stroke. He's already had a heat stroke and been hospitalized from their mistreatment of his monies. They asked for him to send in his ID, front and back, his SS card, front and back, and then to delay more his birth certificate. He sent it everyday for 2 and a half weeks. Then to hold his funds longer they say send it now by fax. Fax's were sent for another week. So what happened? Again they say didn't receive the information. Go figure. I believe someone wants a vacation, bonus, raise, something. Why else can't they release his monies? There's no reason in hell as to why anything can take this long. Maybe they are just a institution who keeps others money for their entertainment. Who knows but this is the most pathetic banking institution anywhere at anytime. So best advice, DONT LET THEM HAVE ONE PENNY TO CONTROL OR YOULL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN. Let me say again, minus stars is what they deserve. NOT YOUR FUNDS!! JOKE, JOKE, JOKE!!!!!

These phone operators are not helpful, and I told them (2) so. I cannot get to my money, a transaction to my bank was denied for little to no reason, and they won't let me talk to a manager.
