Cancelled our trip within the required…

Cancelled our trip within the required time period. They switched our rental to new management. Now I’m fighting for our refund. Never again. Awful customer service. I cannot say enough negative things about these wretched people. I cannot recommend and in fact I discourage the use of VROB, Vacasa, and Avari. Beware.

The condo was very clean and the…

The condo was very clean and the perfect location for us. There was a box fan already there which helped keep the air circulating in the 2nd bedroom. Everything was well maintained and our experience was very pleasant.
A safety handles the back of the master tub would be beneficial for getting in and out of the shower, we had a fantastic time

Location was great

Location was great. Pike market was around the corner and parking was secure. The condo itself was good , but we did encounter a few small issues with the condo itself that were resolved just by taking pictures and submitting them right away to Vacasa. The hot tub at the condo was out of commission our entire stay(May 24-31st). We did report it to the front desk and they said they would check it out , but nothing was fixed before we left. So that was disappointing. And the bathtub in the condo was a bit small, I would not recommend for a larger person.

Don’t rent with Vacasa!

This business was horrible. We used them through Airbnb on a rental in Hawaii. There were no extra trash bags, the sheets were disgusting, and I had to purchase my own, they left no extra supplies in the rental.

I had several questions throughout my trip about things like the condition of the property because there were floods prior to our arrival, pool codes, about late checkout, etc., and every single time I was told that they could not give me answers. Not what you expect from a vacation rental company!

Vacasa doesn’t want negative property reviews

I recently stayed at one of their properties and had an average experience. I reviewed the property on their website accordingly and honestly. Yesterday I received an email from them stating they would not publish my review. I reviewed their Terms and Conditions to confirm there was nothing inappropriate about my review. The conclusion is that the property was subpar and they did not want any negativity or an average review to dissuade others from future rentals. I will never rent from this Company again, I do not trust them and they acted deceptively

My wife and I with our Boston

My wife and I with our Boston, Rosie had a wonderful stay. We arrived 2 hours early and were given an early check-in. It was quick and easy, as well as being the last time we needed Vacasa's help. The cabin was nicely decorated, very clean, and well stocked. Our cabin was in a great location. Secluded in the woods and only 5 minutes from Helen.

SCAM

In 2024, we hired Vacasa to manage our home. After eight months of poor performance and ongoing problems, we terminated the contract.

In May 2026, we received a shocking letter from the IRS showing that Vacasa had reported more than $4,000 in income on our behalf. We never received these funds. To resolve the discrepancy, we contacted Vacasa and requested documentation and the bank account information showing where this money was allegedly deposited.

Rather than providing a straightforward answer, Vacasa has refused to supply the requested information and appears to be playing a waiting game—ignoring inquiries, delaying responses, and hoping the issue simply goes away. Meanwhile, we are left dealing with a potentially serious tax matter that Vacasa created.

When a company reports income to the IRS, it should be able to readily demonstrate where that money was sent. Vacasa's unwillingness to provide basic documentation raises serious concerns about its recordkeeping, accountability, and customer service. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution homeowners against trusting Vacasa with the management of their property.

No Refunds Issued

Good luck trying to get a refund from this company. I cancelled a trip over a month ago and they are making me fight tooth and nail to try to get over $2k back (despite being well within the cancellation window). Do not use this company, it is a scam.

Second year staying at L208

This is our second year staying in this unit, however my family has been staying at Maui Kamaole for several years. We love this particular unit and Vacasa has always been extremely helpful with any issues that come up. We love that the pool is right out front and that this unit is very clearly equipped for families. There is plenty of room for all of us and then some. Lots of kitchen equipment for cooking and at least the second time there were some spices as well. There is always plenty of beach supplies although it is different every year. Both times we have been there, there has been some snorkel equipment although we usually bring our own masks just in case. You can also rent some nearby. The home has plenty of towels both for showers and beach, and at least this time it had a cool breach kart along with two coolers which was awesome for the beach days. If you want an awesome place with everything you need to have a great trip without having to bring or buy it, this is your spot!
