Vendora is a website that

Vendora is a website that, in my opinion, has several significant issues that raise concerns for its users. First and foremost is the identification process, which is, to say the least, problematic. The process for verifying one's identity is cumbersome and raises questions about the security and privacy of personal data.
One of the most alarming aspects is the transfer of personal data to a third party that operates outside the country of the user. This not only raises privacy concerns but also questions regarding the legal and regulatory oversight of the data handling. For many users, this is a major red flag, as it puts their sensitive information at risk of exposure and misuse.
Moreover, the financial handling of Vendora is another area of concern. The system they have in place ensures that the money deposited by users remains in their accounts until it is used to purchase something from the site. During this period, no interest is paid in the deposited money, which can be seen as a way for the site to benefit from the users' funds without offering any compensation.
In light of these issues, my advice is to stay away from Vendora. The combination of problematic identification processes, questionable data handling practices, and financial arrangements that disadvantage the user makes it a less than trustworthy platform. In my view, it is even worse than Facebook and some other platforms that have faced scrutiny for similar issues. Users should exercise caution and consider other options that prioritize their privacy and financial well-being.

Vendora is even worse than Facebook Marketplace

First, they charge you more than any other similar website for collecting the money you might earn from sales. Second, the customer service is virtually non-existent. Third, both the potential buyer and the potential seller have very little freedom of direct communication due to strict monitoring system from Vendora.

I have been using Vendora both as a seller and a buyer.
The only issues I have is that they should allow users to buy hand by hand too if they want to and not force them to use the payment tool. Also to use less restrictions on the chat. The fees are quite high to withdraw money from your wallet.
I never had issues through the payment process though. In general I am satisfied with them.

Avoid.

If you live in the hope of anything other than appalling customer service, I would avoid ordering from Vendova.

I ordered a lamp from Vendova at 22:01. Having then checked the reviews of Vendova, I decided to cancel the order to save myself the hassle of dealing with them.

I cancelled the order at 22:13, 12 minutes after ordering. I followed the cancellation procedure on the Vendova website which states that you have 12 hours to cancel your order. Vendova acknowledged my cancellation email 1 minute later.

Vendover emailed me 3 days later advising that I could not cancel my order and I was advised my order was being prepared for dispatch. I emailed back the same day sharing a screenshot of their cancellations policy which states that the cancellation window was 12 hours, so my request and acknowledgement to cancel within 12 minutes was valid.

Five days after this email, 8 days after I had placed the order, I received an email advising my order was now being processed (this contradicts Vendova’s previous email which advised my order was being prepared for dispatch five days previously).

Vendora emailed me again advising me again that I could not cancel my order. I responded advising that this is not as per their cancellation policy and I asked for a refund. Vendora responded to me five days later, and again failed to respond to my request to cancel.

The product arrived 12 days after ordering, it is of poor quality and I would not recommend.

Its Good

My experience as both a seller and buyer has not been as bad as everyone below, and I have been using the app for about two years now. What's important as a seller is to follow the rules, write very good descriptions, provide good photos and be patient with the process of getting paid. As a buyer, you gotta be extremely careful, buy from ppl with many positive reviews (I think more than 40-50 is pretty decent) ask for more photos if needed and communicate with the seller first to see that they are ok to buy from etc. - generally anything you would normally do on any online second-hand market tbh.

Thus far, and out of 100+ sales and 50+ purchases, only two times did I experience an issue (1 time a customer wanted to return a product, which happened swiftly and according to Vendora's rules, and another time my package got stolen from the porch after the courier didn't deliver it properly, which I got immedietly refunded for). Every time I needed some help or had a question, the customer service would come back to me within 24 hours, which I personally find to be an acceptable time.

That being said, I primarily buy/sell used books, drawing materials, cosmetics and paper prints/stationary. I do not have experience with used electronics, but I would advice caution for those.

My complaints: fees are a tad bit too high, there is no way to edit/remove reviews, no way to save posts as drafts and schedule them, Beyond that, all good for me.

Traumatic experience

It was a traumatic experience to deal with this platform. The interaction with the customer is problematic and there in not any kind of care for him. Furthermore, there is not any live chat option, just communication via e-mails, which have a considerable time lag, not at all helping in resolution of evolving disputes.
In my case, though I asked for cancellation of an order just 10 minutes after its placement (after a more careful check of a vague product description), their e-mails in the beginning were very reassuring not to worry about, but ultimately they pretended that it was impossible to cancel the order, because of the seller's objection!

Wannabe Vinted that lacks the basic…

Wannabe Vinted that lacks the basic principles of customer service or e-commerce. They claim to be an advertising platform but when having a bad experience and although you can come to an arrangement with the seller for return they block communication with them and meddle so you can relist on their platform.

Word of advice.. if you HAVE TO use this platform pay by PayPal so you have some protection and authenticity of electronics is dubious. I wouldn’t recommend.

No options for the buyer

No options for the buyer. Either you buy and you are happy either you keep an item you don't want and you are not happy with it and you lose all your money. No other options and non-existent customer service.

Unbelievably bad platform

Used to be acceptable, now it is simply unusable. Unbelievable fees never seen on any other similar platform, you have to pay fees upon fees upon fees to withdraw your money, if you purchase something and the seller is not co-operative you will wait DAYS to get your money back, and now they are asking for ID verification to withdraw your own money after selling something. Simply ridiculous, do not use this platform.

A ridiculous site for ads

A ridiculous site for ads . They act as they like they ban ads because they like.I had posted an ad for a coin of 1828 they told me that this was illegal due to the law bla bla bla , when I contradicted their arguments that the law was referring for items past 1453 they didn’t say nothing about that just that only they have decided to remove everything before 1830 never mind the law. I told them just ask your legal department or your legal consultant simply because they don’t have and they are a circus . Another thing is that they charge high ridiculous fees for the ads, You may better use other sites.

Two refunds

I'm experiencing an issue regarding the refund from Vendora company and their associated payment platform, Mangopay. I've made numerous attempts to resolve this matter, including reaching out to the companies and sending letters. The problem encompasses Vendora's inadequate response to my communications and Mangopay's inability to provide a resolution. I'm also troubled by the fact that my account on Vendora was deleted without prior notification, despite containing crucial information for the refund. I am considering potential use of social media to advocate for my rights. Finally, I have explored the option of seeking legal advice and potentially taking legal actions to address this issue. I'm really afraid because the amount is 1000$+

Charges are not evident

Charges are not evident. Unless you read all the terms of use before, you can only access them once the transaction is over. The site presents its services as free. Charges come up to 5% plus 1.20 euros for cost of transport (there is no transport whatsoever) plus 24% tva. At the end, if you manage to sell something, there is an automatic preselected option (which of course you are not aware of) which makes you accept a partial monthly bank deposit instead of the whole amount of the transaction. As I was told by them, if you sell for 100 euros they will reimburse you 10 times with the sum of 10 euros. Whatever, Do not use it. I sold a hospital bed for 400 euros minus the Vendora costs 26,29 and I will get the rest in whatever way it suits them and whenever they wish Be careful, there are newspapers where you can insert an add completely free. Think and read the terms twice before you use it.

You buy and pay for products but this…

You buy and pay for products but this doesn't mean that you will actually get them because the seller must approve (!!!!) the transaction. If the seller thinks his product will sell for more, he declines the payment and you get your money back after 5 days. So my question is why set the price to a certain amount and let the buyer pay if the seller decides to put the product to an auction? That's not serious
