AVOID AT ALL COSTS
We took our dog in for an emergency appointment in November 2023, we are now in February 2025 and after numerous emails to Vets Now where fault on their part was admitted, they are still trying to take MORE money from us. The debt is passed on to a company who gaslight and threaten. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They do not have your pets welfare in mind whatsoever nor take responsibility for the stress they cause.

Easy to find
The Staff are all lovely friendly and respectul really easy to find loads of parking. However the price they charge is like wow.

I just want to say how disgusted I am…
I just want to say how disgusted I am in your practice in Clay Cross. We took our 1 year old dog in on New Year’s Day for a consultation as he wasn’t very well to be fobbed off that’s it’s just a bug even though we told you he hadn’t eaten or had much to drink. To now have just had to have him put to sleep due to a damaged intestine which we’ve now been told by other vets that if this was picked up on earlier it would have made a big difference to his recovery. I would never ever recommend this practice to anyone you should be ashamed at taking £315 for a consultation and you couldn’t even do that properly

Would give 0 stars, phone because need emergency appointment, was advised that it would cost over £300 just to be seen. I said i had insurance and they told me i still have to pay the fee (incase insurance don't cover it) they are just robbing B....s. insurance is there for unexpected accidents and illness, but yet they still want to take your money. All my documents would clearly show what cover I had, they don't put animals first, just their payment.

Very good vet, she spent time examining our pet and reassured us.
I would have given Vet Now 5 stars if the visit wasn’t so expensive. I know it was a Sunday morning but over £300.00 for a 15 minute consultation seems a lot of money.

Extortionate consultation charges
The OOH consultation charge is absolutely scandalous - Mon to Sat expect to pay £40 to £50, have the misfortune of having to use the services on a Sunday and the consultation alone ( which was done and dusted in just under 8 minutes) rockets to over £313 !!! I accept you have people working on a Sunday morning but do you honestly believe that charge to be fair, equitable and fully justified ? I do not - double, treble the norm, fine but a c 800% increase/premium !

Vets Now in Chesterfield were wonderful when I had to take my poorly dog. Lottie and Georgia were so welcoming, kind and helpful, explaining everything throughly and were just lovely to Millie dog. Cost was extreme
Cost was extreme, £365 for 15mins, my dog means the world to me but Vets prices are ridiculous in the UK. I cannot fault the Vet they were amazing the service was outstanding but I will now research holistic remedies as the cost is just too much.

I have used the service twice this week…
I have used the service twice this week and seen 2 different vets. The 2nd occasion was an admission for an overnight stay. The receptionist snd nurses were both lovely and put me at ease. I was also seen quickly.
The vet was thorough and explained everything. I also called for an update later in the night and was given a comprehensive run down which helped to put my mind at ease.
I was very happy with what they did and understood what I needed to do next.
