We barely saw the vet and she didn’t seem to care. One injection to make the dog sick then nearly an hour with no help or support even when we went looking for help.
Some charcoal to give him which they seemed to find funny how messy it would be. Then an admin fee of £35 for handling the £552.00 claim. No idea how you justify any of these costs.

My dog received quick help, very nice and professional service from doctors and nurses

The vets are great , the costs are ridiculous, I genuinely don’t know how they are justified. They either rely on people being insured or not having a choice to treat a pet they love and care for
There needs to be some sort of mechanism to review this mad bills

Had a late night visit to take my veteran dog, who I thought had a urine infection and as very uncomfortable. Fantastic vet who took her time to investigate the problem which was a I thought. Gave some suggestions should it strike again so far it hasn’t. Gave medication.
Highly recommend.

Lovely staff, but didn’t get the answers we were looking for out of hours so a bill of £400 for anti sickness medicine, only for our dog to end up in emergency operations the next day to remove a foreign object

Zoe who looked after us is one of the best vets I have ever seen. Great warmth combined with knowledge and advice. Instantly felt better having her taking care of my cat.

Phone me to give up dates on my pet and if needed to take blood etc always phoned to see If this was okay, never go a head on there oen accord

Words fail me. Everyone of your employees who, even in the smallest way, helped my lad Denver recently at Walnut Tree in Milton Keynes are absolutely amazing! They all exceeded my wildest wishes and hopes with the treatment they gave him.
I cannot express how grateful and humbled I am.
If you need an example of just how impressive and dedicated they were just take a look at the unasked for email that Alice (don't know her surname I'm ashamed to say) sent me at 1.37hrs this morning. Remember my lad had not eaten in 4 days.
Please pass this onto all staff involved.

Service was fine I just completely disagree with charging such extortionate prices for an emergency appointment.

Staff were very informative, polite and looked after my dog with great respect. All treatment information was given so we understood. Vet also came and checked on my pet to make sure he was all good and responding well to treatment.

Great organisation to provide Vet treatment anytime when your pet needs treatment. Expensive but great if you have insurance.

Vet checked dogs lump and provided meds and requested more tests should be done next by own vet.

We travelled to this Vet surgery on 26/07/25 after our Zak had hurt himself jumping. We were told that the consultation fee would be £320. Arrived at the surgery and waited. After being called in and Zak was checked over the vet gave Zak an injection and took his temperature and Zak became very distressed and was yelping very loudly. We were not happy with the veterinary Nurses attitude towards Zak. She said he was acting like a baby. No X-ray was done, anti inflammatory meds and pain relief was prescribed for Zak. The total cost of the visit with meds was £470. This cost is not only excessive, but for us it was distressing and the Nurse didn't help with her attitude.

All of the staff I had contact with were polite, kind and understanding. The service is easily available (if you have the funds to do so).

However, the care for my guinea pig was very limited. There was very little examination by the vet and he was very dismissive of a positive outcome stating that guinea pigs are 'weak'!

I attended the local specialist vet the next day and got a completely different experience. Following a thorough examination they offered a stronger version of the anti inflammatory medication and a completely different antibiotic. As well as some support and guidance on ongoing care I could offer her to achieve a positive outcome.

Thanks to the care from the specialist vet the guinea pig is back with her family and doing really well. I dread to think about what the outcome would've been if I had taken the advice of the emergency vet only.

If an emergency vets service cannot sufficiently treat a particular species of pet then they should be up front about that before taking your money! I feel that I was ripped off in this instance as I seemed to know more about guinea pigs and their care than the vet did.

Although expensive (the practice were clear about the costs from the outset) the vet was thorough and gave a full explanation as to each stage of the investigation. Our dog did not become overly anxious due to kind handling. I was relieved to be able to have out of hours, good quality advice and care for my dog who had become unwell quite quickly.
