Rip off Merchants

This Company that trades as Able Group in Doncaster are the Lowest of the low.
My Mother in law who is in her 70's rang to see if someone could come out and look at a radiator that was only getting warm at the top. She was informed by the sales advisor that it was a fixed price of £189.00 + vat to Investigate Diagnose and Repair if possible.
All the engineer actually did was turn on the boiler feel the radiator and he then came up with the diagnosis of a build up of sludge in the radiator, remedy either to replace or flush. Surely flushing the radiator comes under the remit of Repair?
No attempt to flush or remove the radiator for any kind of inspection was made.
This man is obviously very tallented to be able to see through radiators!
The invoice stated he was at the property for Three Hours, more untruths as he was only present for around 40 minutes.
When my wife rang to query the cost of the visit the advisor she spoke to was so rude and ignorant constantly speaking over my wife as she spoke, Clearly this person doesn't know what Customer Service is!
To top it all off my mother in law later received a call back from the sales advisor to notify her that the cost to replace the radiator would be £625.00 + vat.
My mother in law has been left very upset and distressed by this whole unpleasant experience.
Shame on you as a company and the customer service advisor as a person

Rude

Filled an online form in for emergency glazer for east mids. Received a call from a teenager in Essex who quoted well over what I expected. I advised that was more than I thought it would be and I would not be able to go ahead with that. To which she replied in a snappy manner “well we don’t have any glaziers in your area anyway so good luck with that” and put the phone down on me. Rude. Definitely would never use this company.

Terrible terrible customer service

Terrible terrible customer service, came out to fix a leaking pipe. A month and a half later the pipework then split, when I called up to report it they sent the same guy out who looked at it, said he would need to speak to the business and then they would give me a call about how to progress.

They then didn't call, I called them two days later. They then told me that they believe that it was our fault that the pipework broke (even though the colour of the pipe was different and had clearly split) and that they would come and repair it but that it would be chargeable.

Absolute joke of a business, stay well clear

Nothing but rude…

Company is based in Essex yet advertises as local in the Derbyshire area. The plumber came out did a few mins work capping water, did not bother to explain any extra costs to his very elderly clients, the woman the booked the call with didn't tell them the price was plus VAT, then when ringing customer services to say please ask your workmen to be more respectful to clients, we were talked over by one of the rudest customer service person ever, who has absolutely no idea about actual customer service, so unless you want rude customer service and rude workmen, who will charge ridiculous money for sod all work, avoid at all costs
