Rock n roll experience

Shitty company. Had bought tickets to a game, got tickets spread out and not next to each other. Contacted support, their incompetent the staff were unable to help me until about 5 hours went. Failed to disclose that returning the tickets did not guarantee me any "replacement tickets". Once I returned the tickets expecting replacement tickets, they said they were unable ot find any and told me they will refund me. Let's see if I even get this refund.

Update I got the refund and the old tickets I had ”returned” still worked. So essentially got to watch the game for free🤷‍♂️

After getting stung for €40 on a FB…

After getting stung for €40 on a FB group in my first attempt at get my hands on a Geese ticket for their Bataclan date in Paris March 6th 2026, I was feeling a little cautious about getting stung again. However, Viagogo.com had a 4 star rating on Trustpilot. I then checked Viagogo.se and the reviews were mostly 1 star with very disappointed customers. I just wanted to say that my experience with Viagogo.se was smooth. I clicked on the ticket, it gave me 10 minutes to complete the payment. After making the payment, I received my confirmation email to say I had paid for the tickets, and 5 minutes after I received an email with the download link for the ticket. The ticket was genuine and my wife got access to the gig - relieved! While paying the excessive ticket price (5x the original price) was my own call, what I'm recommending here is the service, based on my own personal experience.

Warning!!!

Warning – do not buy tickets from this company (Viagogo)

I purchased tickets to a basketball game in Serbia. After buying the tickets, I booked flights and a hotel. For several months, their website clearly stated that the game would take place on January 16, which was the date shown when I bought the tickets.

By pure chance, I later noticed that EuroLeague’s official website listed the game on January 14. I contacted Viagogo’s customer support via email and chat and spent an entire day speaking with them. They claimed they needed 72 hours to investigate what “might have happened.” That same evening, I received an email stating that they themselves had discovered that the date on their website was incorrect.

Two days later, I received yet another email saying that the game had been rescheduled to an unknown date. No other source claims this. Neither EuroLeague, the club, nor other ticket sellers show any new date.

The only solutions Viagogo offers are:

that I will receive tickets for the new date (which I cannot attend, as my trip was booked specifically for this game), or

that I resell the tickets myself.

No compensation. No help with flights or hotel. No real solution.

This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.
Viagogo takes no responsibility for their own mistake, despite the fact that I have suffered financial losses due to their incorrect information.

Avoid this company. Buy your tickets elsewhere.

Complete scam

Complete scam. I bought two tickets for an event next year. Under order page it says I will only receive them on the day of event. After trying to get refund I was told it's impossible. I was offered to relist "my tickets" after confronting them with question, how can I relist something I don't have they only replied saying this is the only option.

Buy here at your own risk

Buy here at your own risk, you will get charged with no guarantee of ever getting a ticket.

Sellers have no obligation to transfer the ticket to you after your purchase, in a lot of cases they actually don’t have the tickets themselves yet, and if they do they can sell somewhere else and cancel the sale. You get your money back in that case, but you will have to wait until past the event date (unlucky if you bought months ahead - you can’t get your money back until then).

I feel ripped off - ad not visible

I feel ripped off. Having first bought tickets for a Coldplay concert on Monday, September 8, I planned a trip from Sweden with my daughter to spend Friday to Tuesday in London. When the concert was rescheduled for Friday September 12 I was offered no assistance. This I could accept, even if I think Viagogo could choose to offer something - enable ticket swaps between users to rescheduled concerts or similar. To not ruin our trip I bought new tickets for the concert on Saturday September 6 and listed my tickets for sale on Viagogo. I followed all instructions - transferred tickets from my Ticketmaster.co.uk account for automatic download, and during the week prior to the concert adjusted the price several times to match similar tickets being offered. The day before the concert I was starting to get curious as to why there was no interest in my tickets as they were relatively fairly priced. I tried to search for my tickets from the event view, trying it on several different units and browsers, including browsers where I had never previously visited Viagogo. My ad was not visible! I contacted customer service, and the first person I chatted with confirmed that my ad was not visible due to some approval needed in the ticket upload system. To me the ad was listed as Active and there was no indication that the ad would not be visible. I was in touch with customer service again on the day of the concert. They were able to make my ad visible but would not admit that it had been invisible the entire week prior. I ended up selling my tickets a couple of hours before the concert started at a net loss of about EUR 400.

This company is a third party scam…

This company is a third party scam company. It does not show the total costs during booking and will add a large commission once you have paid leaving it too late to go back. In my case I was charged 500 euros commission for 4 tickets. Stay well away from viagogo I know I will!

It worked just fine

I bought two tickets to see AC/DC in Gothenburg, and only afterwards did I read some of the reviews—I'll admit, they made me a bit nervous! Thankfully, everything turned out just fine. I received a link to the original seller, Ticketmaster, and with my email and a code, I was able to access the tickets. Although the tickets were under a different name (resale), no one asked any questions and they were accepted without any issues. Yes, I was a little anxious at first, but everything worked perfectly. I ended up having an unforgettable evening at Ullevi Stadium on July 28th—AC/DC put on an incredible show!

Warning

Warning: Do not purchase tickets from this site — you may never receive them.

We traveled all the way from Greece to Germany for the Billie Eilish concert in Cologne on May 30, 2025, at 20:00. We each paid €333 for our tickets and were told they would be sent via email.

Despite calling their U.S. customer service three times, we were always told the same thing: “Just wait a little longer.” Finally, at 20:30 — half an hour after the concert had already started — they sent us a message offering a refund as the only option.

Now, we’re left without the concert we traveled for and hoping we’ll at least get our money back.

I’ll update this review once I see how (or if) the refund goes.

Bugg site

When I was editing the price it automatically saved the price for me without my agreement. Instead of them wanting to help me they want to charge me a fee.

I strongly suggest you to avoid this site, a big scam site that tricks people.

A legal scam in disguise, avoid Viagogo at all costs

If you're looking for a “legal” scam, Viagogo is it. This platform thrives on two levels of deceit: first, sellers list tickets at massively inflated prices, and second (more shockingly) Viagogo itself profits from these scams through outrageous fees and zero accountability.

I recently got scammed through this site. I paid double the original price for a ticket, only to be hit with an additional 700 SEK in fees from Viagogo. In the end, I was charged nearly three times the actual value of the ticket.

But here’s the kicker: they never even sent me the tickets! I contacted customer service, only to be told that cancellations aren't allowed. Their brilliant solution? They suggested I resell the nonexistent ticket at a higher price on their own platform to “recover my loss.”

So let me get this straight, not only do they allow people to get ripped off, they actively encourage users to scam others just to make their money back?

This is not a ticket resale service. It’s a shameless money-making machine built on deception and zero ethics.
