My experience with VIN4*4 has been most terrible. I am spending valuable time giving this feedback as I want people to be made aware of what they are getting themselves into. Pls be careful and use your judgement before you get carried away by the pictures and false promises. To summarise, these people are horribly rude, dont have parts as they promise, they take 50% of the total cost, keep your vehicle and then play around with their customers by not delivering on time and not even completing the works that was agreed.
We took delivery of our new Thar and were excited to get many modifications done. VIN 4*4 showed on google as a promising option for Thar modifications. Our call to the owner Balaji was well received and he promised that he had everything that we needed (carrier, led lights, bumper, shackles, snorkel etc.,). We agreed on schedule to drop the vehicle and went there as planned. Upon checking our requirements, Balaji said it would take max of 5 days to complete the work.
Their workshop is beyond magadi road and really far from with limited transport options. The owner made me wait for 2 hours on the first day. We agreed on the works and the costs and paying 50% advance, we left the car with them with a commitment that they would deliver after 5 days. We constantly kept calling and asking for progress, on the day of the delivery, they said the car wasnt ready and would take another day or so as some parts were not available. So we had to wait for another two days. We requested for pictures of work done, but there wasn’t any response. On the day of the delivery yet again they said it would be doubtful that the work would be finished. We were already upset and decided to go to the workshop directly. After arguements and calls, they agreed to handover the vehicle at 8pm. When we reached the workshop, we realised only bumper was fixed, the carrier was not done, the sunroof and snorkel were not available. All this after paying 50% advance and they didnt even once mention that the car would be incomplete. The owner wasnt at the workshop and when we called he was terribly rude and insisted that he was giving us the vehicle with everything we wanted. Our list of our requirements were not shared with the team and they were clueless. The so called designer Salman is just an onlooker and has no design sense. While we asked for a half carrier, he fitted a full carrier which has made the vehicle crazy heavy. He just couldn’t plan or design a carrier. The owner later refused to pick up our calls leaving his team to deal with everything that had gone wrong. It was midnight when we left the place with literally just 3 works completed. They refused to even own their mistake and not understood the inconvenience caused to us the customers. The lights, corrections to the carrier had to be done on another visit where we had to leave the Thar for 3days. The shackles which they had promised arrived after 2 months and the colours are also different from what we requested when I called to check with the manager he to then started behaving rude and I just disconnected the call as it was my fault that I choose to go there . We have ended up beating ourselves for choosing vin4*4 and still our Thar’s modifications that we wanted are incomplete. I am writing this as I am disappointed with their service and would want to save people the trouble. Wanted to give 0star but there's no 0 . Thank you!
