I'm a parent of three boys all in high school but they are scattered across years, so we were thinking about how we wanted to do college tours. Should we bring our freshman along to our Seniors college visits? We were venting to our friend who told us about this new startup that does 1-on-1 virtual tours. We were like, "lets at least check it out". Wow. We didn't see the college we wanted but the website had a "suggest a college" button, so we did that. The founders literally got back to us within the hour and that week they had vetted and signed up a student from the college we wanted who would take us on a virtual tour. The tour was personalized to us completely. I've been on some in-person tours before and we never could get all our questions answered and they feel scripted anyway. But this was the opposite.
