Refund of Andrea Bocelli in Lajatico 2020 -The process DOES NOT WORK

This seems to be a common complaint: You purchase tickets for Andrea Bocelli's concert in Lajatico 2020 via Vivaticket. It was postponed until 2021 due to COVID - fully understandable. On July 17th 2021 I received an email saying the concert is cancelled and I should claim a vivaforvoucher as a refund. As the ticket paperwork did not contain the information required to make a claim I emailed vivaticket customer services for it. The response with the information required was received on 22/7/21. I then made my claim online. I received nothing back. All claims for refunds had to be made by 27/7/21. Why such a short window of opportunity?

As there are other reviewers saying the same thing there must be a major problem with Vivaticket's computer system.

The amount at stake is €600 to €700.

If it was possible to purchase Bocelli ticket's online elsewhere, I would. Unfortunately Vivaticket are the official ticketing people.

Vivaticket where is my refund!!!!!

No Customer Support - Just an Automated Response

Like so many others I wouldn't use Vivaticket again. Unfortunately they process the tickets for the Doge's Palace and Museum in Venice and they appear to be the only option. The transaction went fine but I had made a mistake on the ticket purchase and tried using their customer support - it's a complete blow-off. The customer support is a canned email saying they can't help. Their reply to me, 2 days later, basically stated customer support didn't handle common support issues; I was angry and sent a reply that "their response was useless." I got another reply worded exactly the same way even though it had nothing to do with what I had written. It's clearly an automated system that doesn't understand the support request.

Do not use this Vivaticket, take your money and no service !!!

While in Palermo on 30th March 2022 I tried to buy tickets on Vivaticket website for the Palermo football match that day.
The Vivaticket website was not working correctly as it kept taking me back to original page when trying to pay for a ticket I had chosen.
The Vivaticket website said I could purchase a Vivaticket voucher to use to purchase a ticket.
I purchased a 21 Euro voucher which has 3 different code numbers.
I tried to buy my football ticket with the voucher on the Vivaticket website but it would not accept any of the codes.
After 2 hours of trying cards and voucher I had to give up as the football match had started.
I emailed Vivaticket straight away to explain their faulty website payment system and asked for a refund.
After 5 days there was no reply.
I arrived back in the UK and sent another email.
This was replied to say it was not their event and my voucher was valid.
I have had another 5 emails saying roughly the same.
I have asked on numerous occasions for them to call me or to supply a number I can call them on but these requests have been ignored.
A shocking customer service experience from start to finish.
The Vivaticket website did not work.
The email replies are sent generic answers that are copied and paste.
No customer service number to call.
They have basically stolen 21 Euros from me.
Avoid this scam of a company at all costs.
I don’t know how they are permitted to operate as a business in Italy.

Andrea Bocelli’s Concert Lajatico 2020 - cancelled no vouchers given

We bought tickets for Andrea Bocelli’s concert in 2020 and was told that we can use it in 2021 / 2022. As my country was in lockdown there was no way of travel. In their emails it was said to either sell tickets or redeem for 2021 and if for voucher then they will notify for which we received no emails. Now they say we can’t redeem the ticket as we did not have a voucher.. that’s a really unprofessional. I’m really mad & frustrated. They don’t even respond and all goes through City Sound that goes back to them. Horrible service.. We spent €400(a lot of money for someone from Asia) and additional shipping charges… for Arianna Travels that do the transport they gave us vouchers that can be used indefinitely.. I wish Viva tickets are responsible for their obligations to their patrons.

Cannot recommend at all

We bought tickets for a concert online and now the concert got cancelled. Instead of getting easily the money back, we had to fill out a bad made and bad functioning form where we had to upload pictures from our tickets with the word "canncellato" on it (what does not make sense for tickets which were bought online). And although the have your data, you have to fill out everything again. It is all made in a way that makes its lot of work and it seems like they are doing it like that to prevent the customers to ask their money back.
Furthermore they keep a part of the money.
When I buy anything "3dimensional" online, I also get the money back when it cannot be delivered. So we cannot recommend this company to buy tickets at all.

They are thieves

They are thieves. I bought 3 tickets for 219 euro. Event was cancelled and was impossible to get the tickets back or a voucher.
Their call centre is also a scam: you pay 1 euro/minute even while waiting for someone to answer (which obviously never happens)

My rating for Vivaticket? Minus Five Stars!

My rating for Vivaticket? Minus 5 stars! During a month long stay in Rome, a major priority for me was to visit the newly accessible Mausoleum of Augustus. But when I visited the entrance in early September, I was told that it was fully booked through the end of September. I was given a phone number to inquire about tickets in October which told me to use the online reservation form for Vivaticket which is the only way to get tickets to the Mausoleum. The difficulty in using that form is that it requires you to enter a confirmation number sent to your phone, but it won't recognize phone numbers from the U.S. So I finally managed to get the confirmation code by entering the Italian cell phone number of a friend who then provided me with the code.

As of September 17th, I had a confirmed, prepaid reservation for entry to the Mausoleum of Augustus at 1:00 p.m. on October 5th. But when I went to the entrance on that date and time, I was told that the Mausoleum was closed due to a "special event." I received no advanced notice of this "special event," nor did I receive an apology for the Mausoleum being closed at the time of my confirmed, prepaid ticket, or the possibility of rescheduling, or a refund. Fortunately the ticket was only €5.00. But, more importantly for me was that, as a result of the site being closed on the day of my ticket, I was not able to reschedule in order to include the Mausoleum in my current research focus on Rome. My departure from Rome on October 7th didn't allow me sufficient time for scheduling another date when, in any case, who knows if the Mausoleum would actually be open.

I contacted Vivaticket through their designated website form for assistance, but I haven't received a reply. And judging from all of the complaints filed on this site, they are not likely to reply. My hope is that the European Union authorities will shut down this fraudulent site for good to protect others from depending on a reservation which they will not honor. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH VIVATICKET!

Stay away!

Stay away!
We bought tickets for A.Bocelli concert in Italiy in 2020. Due to obvs. reasons the event has been postponed and by default they carried our tickets over to 2021 even without asking. It would be fine if the situation with pandemic would be different but it is not and we still cannot travel from the UK to Italy and now , they are saying that the event is taking place. If you cannot attend, then you should basically pay more money to get the physical tickets ( it was fine to purchase online ticket for the event but you cannot sell it without physical tickets on the 21st century) and sell it online until the event. They also add that the tickets delivery would delay due to pandemic. So that means, you will pay additional money on top of the service which hasn't been delivered and which will never be delivered at the risk that you'll never be able to receive the physical tickets and sell them and they are calling this a customer service.
If you are able to sell a service online then you should be able to refund it online to if you fail to provide it.
It is disgrace, no other explanation.
Stay away.

Everybody should be aware of this and everybody should inform others about this scam.

1hour to book ticket for Vesuvio !!

We spent some time in Campania region the last stop of our vacation was Vesuvio .
And it was most unpleasant experiance we had in Italy. Why?
Because you can book ticket to visit /enter crater only via vivaticket .
The online reservation takes ages , website doesn't work properly. We spend more than an hour to book the tickets with help of someone .
There was other people with us trying to book . They were from Belgium they were not able to book their ticket at all because website didn't allow them to pay with the credit card from Belgium . That was first part of experience .
We took bus from Pompei EAV public bus . Not only that bus was late but broke down on the way up .
Some of the people on the bus was not able to enter the crater because they came late .
It's understandable that due to Covid situation all rules, purchasing for travelers and visitors are change . But is not understandable and not acceptable that in 21st century you have to do such long registration to purchase ticket on the top of it website is not even working properly .
Than you arrive there and they not allow you to enter for being late because bus broke down .
The whole trip to Vesuvio was ruined by this experiance . I wish you could improve your services and aproach to the situation . That us visitors can enjoy and experiance beauty of nature and history in your country .

I bought in jenuary 4 tickets for the exhibition on Georges de la Tour in Milan. Vivaticket sent an email entitled the thanneuser collection of the guggenheim that I didn't open because it was not the event I had bought
When I phoned to book the visit I was informed that the terms have expired and my tickets were not valid.I have repeatedly wrote to the customer care, but I have never received an answer. really frustrating!

Money taken, no tickets, no response.

Shonky?
I have contacted Vivaticket twice now via the form on their website (the only contact option they offer) but have had no response. The concert I have purchased tickets for, Andrea Bocelli in Lajatico on 24 July, 2020 has been postponed due to Covid 19, and in any event, international travel not being possible, I can't get to Italy.
Despite their website stating that refunds will be given for postponed events, they now say that they won't and the only way to get any money back is to put the tickets up for resale.
In addition, I have not even received the tickets or cd that I paid for express delivery of.
Don't use this company.

Vivaticket is a SCAM and a FRAUD. Read this before purchasing any tickets from them

Vivaticket is a SCAM and a FRAUD. Read this before purchasing any tickets from them.

In Jan 2019 I purchased 2 tickets from Vivaticket for Andrea Bocelli's concert in Lajatico. This was one of my biggest wishes in a long time so you can only imagine my hype about it.

I paid EUR 354 for the 2 tickets which is not exactly cheap but I thought it was worth it, after all, you don't get to see Andrea Bocelli in concert every day, right?

I read the Terms & Conditions on the confirmation email and Vivaticket website and it said that "In case of bad weather, the show is postponed to the day after." I still have the email proving it.

The concert was scheduled on Jul 27 so I booked my return flights on Jul 29, based on what the Vivaticket scam website stated.

As you'd imagine, I was so eager and hyped up about the concert and when I got there, unfortunately, it started raining. I went over to the venue to claim my money back but when I got there, I was surprised to find out that the concert was still on, even though it was pouring outside.

So I sat in line, waited for about an hour and a half in stormy weather to collect my tickets and about 30 minutes after collecting them, the representatives decided to postpone the concert until.... MONDAY, JUL 29.

I told them that my confirmation email said that 'in case of bad weather, the show will be postponed to the day after' and certainly not after 2 days.

Most of the people there were tourists and they were in the same situation as me.

We asked for a refund and they said to contact Vivaticket online.

So I contacted them on Sunday, Jul 28, to ask for a refund. I followed the instructions on their website, which said that I should apply for a refund by filling their online form.

I filled their form and got a confirmation email from them saying that my refund request "has been correctly registered and your case will be dealt with by the office in charge, soon."

Nobody contacted me afterward so I wrote them another email on Aug 3, asking for updates on my refund application. On Aug 5, the Vivaticket scam answered and said that they will process the refund between 6 and 8 weeks because there are many requests.

I waited and since nobody from Vivaticket contacted me since then, I wrote them again on Oct 6. This time, they didn't even bother to answer me anymore.

I waited again, thinking that they may be busy with so many requests, and on Oct 29 I lost my patience and wrote them that this is unacceptable and they should return my money at once.

On Nov 7, somebody bothered to answer and said the following:

"As stated by the instructions published on our website, in the “Cancelled and Rescheduled Events” area, the original tickets should have been delivered to our office by August 2nd.

It appears that the original tickets have not arrived to our offices by the due deadline, therefore your request cannot be taken into consideration."

This was news to me as I have checked the “Cancelled and Rescheduled Events” area and it didn't say such a thing before. It only said that I should fill out their refund application form.

Furthermore, nobody from Vivaticket ever mentioned such a thing after filling my refund application.

I have explained this to them and they're just ignoring me. I have made an official complaint through the EU Resolution Center and they are ignoring that too.

Moreover, I am sure they did this to so many people at that concert and the fraud is probably worth tens of thousands of EUROs if not more.

I can't possibly understand how Andrea Bocelli is selling his tickets through the Vivaticket scam and why he associates with fraudsters.

Of course, I will not let this go and press them through any means possible but I think everybody should be aware of Vivaticket's fraud and scam.
