Vocab Express was obviously not created by linguists. It seems designed to discourage any love of language, for all the reasons stated by other contributors.

Absolute bs. Riddled with bugs. Half the time it doesnt even notice the typing and cut you off halfway through. Even the smallest mistake forces you to sit through and do all this hell again. Really crappy layout and I dont understand why schools force us to use this. Really poor quality. Just stick to duolingo.

If you make a tiny typo you will have to redo the whole block and if you make anymore typos ur stuck in an endless loop whats more if you leave the block befor u finish it clears all your answers EXCEPT ur wrong ones and it is highly likely to crash and lose ur progress if u try to switch to a different assignment
also u cant add accents if u have already typed past the letter u want to add an accent to
it will mark it as wrong if u type NOTHING and the "send as an alternative answer" button does nothing to help u

Just really annoying to use. ONE SINGLE TYPO MEANS YOU HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN TWICE. and not just that, but some of the "Correct answers" aren't even proper English. Fix your mierda.

Very Stupid. Lilian Baylis technology school uses this piece of crap and uses it to make us learn Spanish but it feels like suffering instead. It's very strict and it's giving me headaches after headaches whenever I do it.

one misclick and you have to do it all again. and the lives thing sucks.

if you even put a single letter wrong it will practically crucify you for it. ITS TERRIBLE DO NOT EVER USE

It has no margin for error, you have to translate things exactly the way it wants you, for example in one task I did there was one word with two different meanings as two separate questions so there was a fifty percent chance that you will get the question wrong at which point you have to finish the run you are doing and then try to get a "clear run". This is even a problem in the thankfully far less infuriating multiple choce mode.

For some reason, my school decided to use the worst possible website for learning languages. If you make ONE SINGLE TYPO you HAVE TO do the WHOLE BLOCK AGAIN. I just finished doing my vocab homework and for two tasks it took me AN HOUR because I kept making typos. Dumbest thing since the person who designed it was born

Great app (it helped a lot with my French)

This resource is SO difficult to use because if you misspell one of the words in the set of words/phrases you are studying, you have to correct the word (no option to challenge if you think you're right) and then you have to start the ENTIRE block, again.

It also won't let you quit if you've accidentally made a typo or hit enter too early - just super frustrating and completely not motivational.

Really bad, lots of features that arent there that makes the whole website/app completely unfair. doing stuff takes unfairly long. DO NOT RECCOMEND TO SCHOOL OR PEOPLE

Garbage. Very inconsistent - in Spanish, 'Tengo animales' translates to 'I have pets' and 'I have animals' - which are both marked correct, meanwhile 'No tengo animales' only works for 'I do not have animals' and not for 'I do not have pets' - which is stupid. It's also things like '2' being marked wrong while 'two' isn't, eg '2 hermanos' is wrong and 'two hermanos' is right on this terrible site.

It doesnt work at all and the accents don't work at all in greek so you can't get any questions right

i completed the task and it made me do it again when i got all of the questions correct and i am severely annoyed at this and i got and do still get very frustrated with this task! I do hope you will repair this mistake and make all my vocab express results be marked correctly.
