Worst Customer Service

I've been a customer with Vodafone for donkey's years, and while it works, it works fine, but the customer service? I've been between jobs a few times in the past two years, so naturally, I developed arrears, but Vodafone has the worst ever customer service, whenever you call up, it forces you to first pay any arrears (which you can imagine I can't) before you can speak to someone, or you have to rely on TOBi to speak to an agent, where then you're waiting ages for any responses, even today, I had an automated call, threatening me to disconnect my line if I didn't pay my arrears, with no option to speak to an actual human, and few months back? Our broadband went down because the telephone line got knocked over, and when I contacted TOBi, one person told me I'd be compensated, the next person WEEK AFTER, told me because it wasn't their fault, they wouldn't compensate me, absolute joke!

Absolutely rubbish network

Absolutely rubbish network. It keeps disconnecting and slowing down. When you try to contact customer support, they just tell you that everything is fine and offer no real help. I tried to switch to another network, but they asked for £350 as an early termination fee.

Customer service and complaints dept…

Customer service and complaints dept are no help. I gave had no access to full fibre for roughly six weeks. Got an email and a phone call yesterday when I was visiting my husband in hospital to say the problem was at last fixed and my ongoing complaint was now closed. Still not working. No landline. Gave he a mobile broadband to use which I'm being charged for along with paying for a service I don't have. Time for the Ombudsman

Unbelievably Bad Service Throughout

Never before have I dealt with such an inept company whos technical 'background team' clearly dont know their arse from their elbow!

Service switch to Sky was requested in April, with the service to Vodafone to cease in May, they have subsequently charged my 75 yr old father for the past three months as there is an'issue' with the cease in the background that no one told him about! cue weekly calls to the Vodafone support team to be told the issue is still being worked on! the last call I was told with 100% certainity that the next time I called it would be fixed and he would not be charged again, low and behold I've just called them to be told they are still working on it and the next update will be the 6th August!.

Are Vodafones systems that antiquated and bad that it takes months to resolve what should be an easily resolved issue?

I also keep getting told that there are notes on my fathers account about all the issues he has had, but then get asked to repeat myself constantly about what the issue is!

Currently awaiting a call back from a manager regarding this issue but was told by the call agent who escalated the call 'they are just going to tell you the same thing' If someone at Vodafone could explain to me how this is good customer service I'd love to hear their explaination!

Long gone are the days of the customer is king!

I would never recommend anyone uses any service Vodafoone supplies in the future and will actively be telling people to avoid them.

If I coudl give them a zero star rating I would.

Moving house.

Moving house.

They can not provide the same I have in the contract right now in my new address. And they are forcing me to accept 90% less for 10 pound difference. Or pay 500 pounds fee. Scamers... Do not take Vodafone as Broadband, choose another company, Vodafone will try to steal your money.

Please read this before you switch to Vodafone high speed Broadband

So I switched from VM to Vodafone high speed full fibre Broadband with promised speeds of 910mbs and that i definitely wouldn't need a booster to cover the entire bungalow and would easily cover over 30 metres.
After the installation I was told it needed to settle down.
So over the next 48 hours of my Broadband settling down i could only get 250mbs if I was standing over the hub this was no were near the 910mbs I was promised.
Not only that my bedroom was 7 metres away from the Broadband and I could see the hub there were no walls between the hum and my phone and I could only get 10mbs that's 10meg.
If I sat on my bed I got zero it just wouldn't connect. And it also wouldn't connect in my son's bedroom.
When I spoke to Vodafone they said
This Is An Acceptable Speed. i was absolutely shattered we couldn't use our Broadband in our bedroom.
I can get 450mbs with my sim card talkmobile.
They wasn't interested and told me I had to upgrade my package and would cost me more money. I asked them for a booster to help with the coverage in my bedroom and told me NO.
So I have cancelled it.
If anyone is about to get Vodafone Broadband please please 🙏 😢 think again these are absolutely the worst provider with no help what so ever. I would have given them a zero if I could.
Go elsewhere please don't use Vodafone.

Very very very slow and poor service. After seconds of eSim installation, it realized how bad the service is so I asked for refund money immediately but they refused. Very disappointed
I don’t recommend it at all
Please better go for Nomad eSIM , its speed is too good, reliable.

Excruciating Admin

Its so difficult dealing with Vodafone - I have been billed for 2 years for a product that im not using. When I use Tobi I cant share my ID and therefore cannot cancel the contract. The advisor who came on the call could not even find the account. Use Vodafone at your peril

Just a despicable company

Just a despicable company. If I had a time machine, the very first thing I would so9 would be to go back and convince myself not to use Vodafone, I don’t even care that every time travel movie ever says not to interact with your past self, it would be worth it.

Not recommended at all. poor quality line (router keeps restarting then lagging inbetween restarts). Customer service is also poor. Will not help in anyway to fix the problem altogether but just temporary fixes that does not even last a month.

Systemic Incompetence and Weaponized Credit Reporting: Avoid Vodafone

If I could give Vodafone zero stars, I would.
My contract legally ended in January, and I paid my final balance in full to conclude all services by February. Despite this, Vodafone claimed they never received my notice and demanded an additional month of payment—for a period where I was already with a new provider and using zero Vodafone data or minutes.
I rightfully refused to pay for a non-existent service and formally escalated the issue to their complaints team. Instead of resolving the dispute internally, Vodafone outsourced the alleged "debt" to a collection agency and marked my credit file with a missed payment.
The credit reporting system is meant to flag financial irresponsibility, but here, it is being actively abused to punish a customer for Vodafone’s own administrative incompetence. After five years of loyalty, this is how I was treated. I will never return to Vodafone, and I strongly advise others to monitor their credit files closely if they attempt to leave.
