Due to a disability I have started…

Due to a disability I have started ordering groceries delivered. My Vons is 3233 Foothill Blvd, La Crescenta-Montrose, CA. With tip precalculated and added automatically with the delivery fee it costs about 10 bucks more but worth it. However, the failure to provide fresh vegetables especially for some reason carrots has left me so frustrated that I am trying frozen vegetables. I eat a full plate of veggies every night, or did! I don't know where they get the veggies they send to me - they are not what you'd see in store. Oversized, dirty, past-ripe, hairy, like what you might feed to farm animals. I just cried this last time. Stop dumping old vegetables.

Rude and unprofessional

My name is Daniel, Ive been a Vons customer for well over 30 yrs at the imperial beach location off saturn blvd. I have spent Thousands of dollars there.normally the experience there is good . The last probably a year or so one of the employees there Kimberley’ has been very rude and gets upset or has an attitude every time I ask here for help.
Today I was there early morning there was no check out stands open . I had to use the self check out , I’m a senior citizen and I’m not very good at useing them. This morning Kimberly was the only one in the area. I asked her for help , once again she was very rude and said what do you need my help for. She said just scan you things and pay I explained to her that I don’t know how to use the self checkout machines. She got angry and very upset, her attitude was very negative. Then she started to talk to me like a child. I was very embarrassed and felt stupid by the way she was talking to me.
As a customer service representative she treated me unfairly and she was very disrespectful. Kimberly needs a class in customer service , on how to treat people

Kristin and Robert were extremely rude…

Kristin and Robert were extremely rude and unprofessional! I ask Kristin for a money order she ask me to provide my social security card information I asked her why she responded “I don’t know it’s what the paper is asking it’s not like i want it for myself” I asked her to call a manger Robert walks over and says “whatever she told you is correct” i asked for the number for the corporate office Robert gave me a incorrect number and as i was leaving the store he kept yelling comments towards me

Employees are fine. receipts and website less so

The employees at von's (del mar or 56) have most always been very helpful. Grade A.
I have this year experienced too many times when the sale items do not ring up at the sale price. It takes myself and cashiers extra time to fix the mistakes. Multiple errors on a single order have occurred twice in June. Grade B because Ralphs is similar.
The website also has problems making it very difficult returning from a selected item back to the weekly ad. I did phone and the people answering said had many such phone complaints. The website problems have NOT been corrected. Grade D.

How to fix the problems:
In the store give the customer the item free if an error is made from the scanner.
On the website leave an EASY to access complaint/question box rather than your ichat. Then respond to each customer who requests a response how you are addressing the problem.

Unprofessional Employee

I am a longtime regular shopper at Von’s store 2270 and could not be more satisfied with my shopping experiences! However, on pretty much most occasions, I come in contact with an employee by the name of YANIRA. This person could not be more unpleasant, miserable, unfriendly, and definitely unwelcoming!! Other than her, every employee at this market excels my expectations as a likable, helpful and welcoming professional. Perhaps someone as unpleasant as YANIRA is more suitable working in the back of the store, so not to interact and engage with good paying customers anticipating a satisfying shopping experience. Especially when one has many other markets in the area to chose from. Unsure of what could be so wrong in this person’s life, but she should leave her problems at home and put on a happy face like all other professionals employed at this market. Just to name a few of my favorites; Mary, John and Shannon in produce, Reggie and Rod in the meat department, Maria Ibarra at self check out, Deandre, Jose and Eduardo, respectively. Because of these lovely individuals, I continue to shop at Vons.

Nothing is more disgusting than a bad…

Nothing is more disgusting than a bad packaging of meat. I picked my order online which includes meat, yogurt , etc. The packaged meat was wet and oozing with blood contaminating other items in the bag. I ended up throwing out the meat and washing all the other items in the bag.
This is vons at 4550 Atlantic blvd., Long Beach, Ca.

Avoid if shopping for edible food

Victorville, California: This is a response to the corporation, not the employees. I planned my dinner menu, and made the mistake of going to Von’s. First the boneless chicken breast rang up about $3.00 dollars more than the marked price, the signature select sour dough bread was a sour bread like highly processed loaf of a food like substance, not a fermented sour dough but something with a sour flavor that was possibly edible but not advisable for human consumption, and the prepackaged spring mix salad was entirely spinach. The floral department was excellent. Every thing else was critter food and compost material.

Agoura Vons has gone downhill…

The Kanan Road Agoura store is probably one of the worst markets around this part of town. First of all when you walk in, it smells. I am not sure what it is, but it puts you off right away. I was looking for a particular item and literally nobody was around to ask except for the checker, who told me what aisle to look on - as if I had not looked there yet. Can someone please CHECK if you have it and show me where it is? No.
It’s sad to see customer attention going down the hill :(
There are a LOT of other places to shop, so that’s where I will go.

I shop here almost exclusively

I shop here almost exclusively. They carry a large variety of products so I don't have to go to other stores for most specialty items that I purchase. I am vegetarian and not all supermarkets have some of the items I like. You can save quite a bit of money by becoming a member which is free, but if you opt for the Fresh Pass membership it is $99 annually. I have the fresh pass because the points you build up never expire, but they do for the free membership. I like to save my points then cash them all in every 3-4 months. I usually choose the free groceries for my reward. For example I have 4 rewards currently and if I wanted to cash them in I would select the $5 off my next purchase of $5 or more. I hope they don't merge with Ralph's, as this would reduce competition and drive up prices and who needs that in this time of inflated prices?
They are also the only grocery store that carries the Arizona black and white tea with ginseng and honey, my favorite beverage.

I shopped though online for delivery…

I shopped though online for delivery and was told my items for ebt were 49.67. Once I got my order I was charged for cookies 4.99 and crackers 4.69 also two items were missing. Your customer support told me that cookies and crackers are non- essential which isn’t true. Ebt states , Soft drinks, candy, cookies, snack crackers, and ice cream are food items and are therefore eligible items for EBT. I want my cash refund because when I received the first charged it was 49.67 and the shopper charged a garlic power for 11.99 which I didn’t get and a onion power 7.99 which I didn’t get. Please refund my cash for cookies and crackers as this is illegal. I’m contacting EBT to report this fraud because you can’t change cash for these two items.

There app and website is horrible!

There app and website is horrible!! When I place orders there site ! Will drop all food so I have to start all over again! And have other issues with there website when you try to add food it does not go through! And they don’t have good customer service online!! They promise they will contact you with a manger but they don’t !! then some food items are gross have mold ! And bugs !! Disgusting Gross!! Horrible customer service!!

Vons supermarket chain for food and essentials

Vons is a supermarket chain that primarily operates in Southern California and Nevada, providing customers with a convenient shopping experience for their grocery needs. Vons stores are well-organized and clean, boasting wide aisles and ample lighting. They offer a diverse range of quality products, including fresh produce, meat, dairy, bakery items, as well as household essentials and personal care products. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, readily offering spellcheck services and assistance. Moreover, select stores feature additional offerings such as flowers, while many provide the convenience of Starbucks for coffee orders. Personally, I am a regular shopper at three of their conveniently located stores, and I genuinely appreciate how they fulfill the majority of my food requirements.

Vons on S. Durango and W. Warm Springs Very Poor Management

Vons located on S, Durango and W. Warm Springs. There is a new Mgr. at this store and she is doing miserably. Two weeks ago three kids about 10 years old rode their wide bicyles into the store and proceeded to ride up and down the aisles attempting to knock shoppers over. I said something to them and one child was ready to pound me out. Not one employee at this store did anything. The children left and I am quite sure they stole food under their clothing as they just rode their bikes out the door and bypassed the cashiers. Yesterday, being Friday the store was quite busy around 5PM. There was only one cashier open and the rest was self-checking. The checker was under age and if you had any alcohol it meant calling another employee over to ring up the products. I had some wine and when an of age employee came to the register to check me out she glared at me with total disgust. So, what idiot manager would have only one cashier available at this time and for that cashier to be under age to accept alcohol. Common Sense does not prevail at this store. Frankly, I don't think I will go back.
