Horrible company and impolite…

Horrible company and impolite company!!!
We had trail demo version with them and platform is useless at all ways. I cancelled trail period even before due date and got conformation from them .
Then I am notified by my accountant that they have charged us of $600!! Straight away I was trying to reach out - no reply, sent 10 emails - no comments back, after 2 weeks received email : its my own fault that I didn't email to billing email with cancellation even it was sent to billing and confirmed from them and it was email in very rude and impolite way, all emails were attached and asked when can we expect refund - again silence... Even tried to contact director Jesper Qvist - also no reply.
Horrible company, please be all aware !

Voogy/Salestool.io unauthorized charges

I too was a salestool.io customer and started receiving fraudulent bank charges. When I contacted my bank in April 2019, Bank of America, they came back saying it was valid. We were charged again 90 days later. I managed to get an 'invoice' from Voggy that looked like nothing more than a quick Word invoice template that showed the dollar amount and our company name. The product was named "Voggy" on the itemized line. I'll be contacting BoA again shortly, if I get no satisfaction in 3 work days I'm changing to Chase.

I'm happy to email the 'invoices' to Trustpilot if they'd like, along with all the email's I've received from them and their "billing" department. Here's his contact information if anyone else needs it:

UPDATE: 20190727
I was contacted by Trustpilot because Voogy wanted to confirm I was a customer. I'd suggest instead of spending all this time trying to debunk actual truthful and valid reviews, that they stop charging previous customers (either in error or on purpose) and refund our money presently.

UPDATE: 20191001
Trustpilot verified I was an actual customer weeks ago, which is why this post is still up here (see previous update). In reference to Voogy's response earlier today telling me I can contact their billing department, I already did that months ago. They went silent and never responded to me. And no one ever answered any of my multiple attempts to call them. Try calling their number yourself and see if anyone ever answers. If you've had unauthorized charges from this entity, contact your credit cards fraud department immediately, don't hesitate or you may never see your money again.

UPDATE 20191008
Now They're charging me as a new name of Fondy. These people are unreal. Needless to say I'm getting a new card this time!!

UPADTE 20200123
Since I've had a new credit card the unauthorized charges (obviously) have stopped.

UPDATED 20200227
Voogy is now complaining to Trustpilot that my review here contains "personal information that could be used to track, identify, contact or impersonate someone". I guess I can see where they don't want any contacting them about their business or their business practices, not that they ever properly responded to me when I contacted them. It's my assumption that they're just trying to get my post removed. But this is just adding fuel to the fire as to why they should not be used.

Voogy reveals more visitors than any…

Voogy reveals more visitors than any other tool i have tried to date. We have been using them the past 4 months and the number of new potential leads has gone up 5x after we implemented Voogy.

What i like:
- Largest IP to Company tracking in the world
- We tested Clearbit, and Voogy was showing 36% more accounts than they did.
- Voogy has great customer service

Overall i would point out they deliver what they promise, I recommend them.

Started charging us for cancelled account

Voogy bought a platform called Salestool.io. We had used this platform back in 2018 for three months then cancelled, but Voogy started charging us again. Twice I charged back the amount on our credit card, and twice they said they would get their collections team involved. Emailed them proof of cancellation and payments have stopped.

They must be aware of what they are doing due to customer responses, and feedback on social media. Terrible practice.

Edit: Voogy asked Trustpilot to validate that I’m a customer. Reading other reviews it looks like they’re querying other reviews.

Took $199 payment for a service I had not signed a contract for ......

Seems I am experiencing the same billing issues as everyone else.

I was a Salestools customer in 2015, cancelled it in January 2016 as was not adding any value. Confirmed in writing by Salestools that it was cancelled in 2016.

Then out of the blue, I received a $199 bill in April 2019 for a service I am not using and cancelled over 3 years ago. Disputed charge with my bank, which resulted in Voogy chasing me for payment and threatening me with debt collection.

Voogy have now since provided an old email and IP address as proof I am using the service to my bank (basically the details from 2016)

Chasing their billing dept, info email address and senior management for a refund .....

My bank also advised me to contact Action Fraud and Trading Standards and I would advise all other UK people in this situation to do the same.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND DO NOT TRUST WITH YOUR CARD DETAILS

UPDATE - 19th May 2019
Have now chased "senior management", info and billing email addresses numerous times with no success. Also tried calling company head office phone number but no-one answers.

This may be because the company's senior management has recently moved from the Nordics to the U.S ......

update - 7th June 2019

Voogy have reported me to trustpilot as not being a customer. In that case can I have my $199 back then please!!?

Update - 13th June 2019

Voogy have now blocked me from Twitter and seems senior management have removed their LinkedIn profiles as I am now unable to chase them on LinkedIn.

Update - June 17th 2019

Trustpilot have reinstated my review

Update - 8th October 2019

Voogy have reported me again to Trustpilot for violating personal information guidelines. I have since updated my review to reflect this AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR $199 THAT WAS TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT TO BE RETURNED AND NO-ONE IN OVER 6 MONTHS HAS EVER GOT BACK TO ME DESPITE NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THEM

THEY SEEM TO HAVE A LOT OF TIME TO DISPUTE REVIEWS ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND REVIEW SITES BUT NO TIME TO ISSUE REFUNDS FOR MONEY TAKEN IN ERROR!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS ......

Andrew you made a trial that ended that you didn't cancel and was correctly billed, we proactively refunded you and assisted you but it is hard when you only goal is to deny the reality. So you in the end where never billed for anything.

Echoing other negative reviews

Echoing other negative reviews, Voogy reactivated a salestools subscription that I had cancelled in 2016. When I didn't recognise the charge on my credit card my bank initiated a charge back. Voogy told them it was a valid transaction and the charge was reapplied to my card. The only contact I've had with Voogy in all of this is an email they sent me disputing the chargeback. They have ignored multiple requests for a refund and now appear to have blocked me from the chat function on their website (am literally trying everything to get a response from them!). Avoid them at all costs because if they aren't outright thieves they're utterly incompetent and not to be trusted with your information.

UPDATE: 20th May - they've responded to this review asking me to prove I was a Voogy customer. Funny how they can respond to this but not the numerous emails I've sent to them with all the information they need.

UPDATE: 18th June - Voogy reported my review claiming I wasn't a genuine customer. I confirmed my experience with Trustpilot and had my review reinstated. I am still at the loss of over €180, and Voogy have still not responded to any of the emails I sent requesting a refund. This company can't be trusted to handle your information in an appropriate manner so do not share your details with them.

UPDATE: 17 October - I have sent Voogy numerous emails in relation to my complaint and the only response I ever got - apart from an automated reply saying they'd answer within 48 hours - was a short one-liner saying they had removed my details from their databases (who even knows if that's true!). So when I got the message that they had left a comment for me to contact them, I was understandably a bit irked. But I emailed them anyway. Surprise! They haven't responded! This company is a bad actor. Treat any positive review with a pinch of salt.

UPDATE: 23 January - Voogy reported my review again, claiming it contained defamatory language. Please note that they did not respond to any emails I sent after my last update so make of that what you will. They still have my money.

Horrendous billing and poor customer support

As others have reported, Voogy are thieves.

We were also an old SalesTools.io customer, for three months in 2016. They charged us $199 out of the blue in Feb 2019. After their customer service stated the charge was legit, they presented “evidence” to our credit card company showing the charge was made by an employee who left us in 2016 from an IP address and carrier at our old office — in other words, they were using the 2016 data to charge us in 2019.

When contacted again with additional support for how crazy this was, their support basically flipped us off, despite knowing — from here and presumably their support tickets — that they have a problem with old SalesTools.io customers being charged illegitimately. A tiny bit of SQL work could have probably given them the list of customers they need to refund, but they are much happier stealing the money.

Even if we wanted their services, I would never do business with this company.

Incompetent and/or Scammers

Voogy illegally resumed subscription, charged fees, and held banking details. Beware and Stay Away.

I have been a former subscriber of Salestools.io back in 2016 (40$ /m at that time). After few months, I stopped the subscription after fulfilling my objectives. Since then, no charges.

March 2019, I noticed a charge of 199$/m being debited to my credit card. After research, I found out that Voogy - who has been acquiring Salestools.io in 2018 - has illegally resumed my subscription and debited my card.

> I tried to contact Voogy by emails and phone: no response
> I tried to resign the subscription: impossible, as it has to be done by email and they don't respond. (but of course you can subscribe to any plan online......)
> I tried to remove my credit card details (that somehow Salestools.io kept......): impossible

I finally called my bank to block any debit from this company and charged a dispute. The very next day I received the first (and only) email from Voogy accounting asking to acknowledging the dispute is a mistake or they will hire a debt collector.

I obviously confirmed the dispute, and will also raised this issue to competent consumer authorities.

Buyer beware!

Buyer beware: interesting solution, terrible support and billing.

Once they made us signup for the trial (adding your credit card is a requirement for it) and it ended, everything got messed up.

Instead of putting our account under a monthly billed plan (as stated on their website) they added us on a quarterly billed plan... but that is not all!

Once I've checked our credit card statement, I've noticed they charged us for the entire year without warning!
That is US $1.400 more than expected for the first quarter.

I've contacted support, sales people, management, etc. to fix this situation and the answer was: No, we will not do anything about it, use it. Of course, none of us will use this platform as we can't trust a company doing this kind of business tactics.

I had to contact my bank to explain about this fraudulent enterprise and needed to change my credit card. BEWARE!

Update
27-3-2018: Two days after this review there is a fake review into my own company profile made by the user "W Johnson" probably part of Voogy, claiming the same issues i've posted in here.

5-4-2019: Voogy replied to my review asking for more information and claiming that it would send a full refund if the charges were wrong, asking to send the information to the same email were we in fact, have already sent around 20 emails in the past. Information is again, provided replying under the TrustPilot platform.

Beware of fraudulent charges and deceptive people

We tried out the service shortly back in 2018 (company/product was named Salestools back then), though we ended up cancelling by April 2018.

In february 2019, we're suddenly charged once again, out of the blue. Contacting them yielded just a short "You'll hear from us within 48 hours" standard reply. Long story short, we ended up getting a refund, though it required some dialog to get there.

We contacted them over chat and talked to their CEO who promised us to "ping the support team" and we'd hear back from them - "Most likely today".

We never heard back from them and then in March 2019, they charged us again. At this point we've had to freeze our card to avoid further payments, while filing a chargeback for the fraudulent charges.

EDIT (20. March, 2019):
Shortly after posting this review, Voogy reached out to us. At first they accused us of reactivating the account ourselves, though they offered no proof of such, and didn't comment on them not answering our mails following the first charge.

The dialog then moved onto them blackmailing us, in that they would only offer a refund, provided we removed this review and promised to not make any further reviews mentioning their organization - in other words, an NDA. At this point they did not refute whether the charges were fraudulent or not, just that they would not refund us, unless the review was removed.

As I will not accept being held hostage due to fraudulent charges that they made, I will not be removing this review. Beyond blocking our card, to avoid further charges, we've initiated a chargeback with the bank.

I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to stay away from Voogy/Salestools purely based on their business ethics. If you do sign up with them, make sure to use a disposable card, so you can block it once you cancel your account.

EDIT (20. March, 2019)
Their CEO Jesper just made a fake 1-star review on our own Trustpilot company page, apparently as retaliation of this review. They've never been customer's of ours.

EDIT (21. March, 2019)
After making the above edit, Voogy refunded one of the two fraudulent charges. They mailed me and now argued that the reason for the late refund was that the CEO was travelling, and he's the only one who can issue a refund. Apparently the support agent requested a refund two days ago - while he was arguing that no refund would be made, as we allegedly activated the account again. At this point we were requested to remove our review.

After requesting that both transfers should be refunded, it happened shortly afterwards - alongside another request to remove this review. I did not remove the review, but I did make it reflect the fact that we were refunded.

Later this day, the review was contested and Voogy requested details about the order, to verify that we were legitimate customers of theirs - despite the ongoing above dialog.

As the cherry on the top, they told me details about how another customer of theirs had used their product, and thus was ineligible to get a refund. The only relation between us and that other customer is the fact that we spoke to other customer over LinkedIn, sharing experiences of the refund dialogs we had, since we both had fraudulent charges made at the same time. Their argument? "Happy to share as he is not under GDPR regulation! We are good guys here mark!" Whether they're the good guys or not, I'll leave that up to you to decide for yourself.

Stay away from these people!!

Stay away from these people!!. We should have done a deeper research before testing them. We requested a one month test and in two days we could not make the platform work.

That is not the worse part — After contacting support they would supposedly fix the issues but they didn't. We contacted them 7 times requesting a refund because the platform was never functional for us, they never replied — until ...

We created a review in this platform and 10 minutes later we received a call from someone in a higher department. The person literally said they would only give a refund if we "remove the review and sign a non-disclose agreement" — very ethical of you Voogy!

They also removed several reviews from this platform — not sure how or why.

Edit: I can't reply to their reply, but they didn't process any refund — we had to cancel our business card because they declined to stop charging us, unless we remove this review.

Needless to say, claims were created with their payment processor (Stripe), Bank, and Trustpilot compliance department. I doubt they will stop these practices, they don't seem to care — but at least if you read this review on time you won't get victimized.

Edit 2: They created a fake review under our business as well — apparently we are not the first ones.

If they keep doing these practices against our business, we will present legal actions. Google my name and contact me If you were a victim.

They are also sending constant requests using TrustPilot trying to unverify us — that's probably the method they are using to remove all the negative reviews below.

Customer support are amazing

At first, I wasn’t that convinced of the potential, but after the guys showed me how the whole platform works, with all the features and all, I realized on the spot the power of the platform, it’s indeed great. The customer support is very helpful and professional and they do help me whenever I need it.

Beware

Beware! This is a total scam, we tried their product for a few days two years ago, cancelled and now...2 years later, were charged out of nowhere $400... we reached out to our bank for a chargeback. However this is really something that I never experienced before as an entrepreneur, company trying to scam you by keeping your credit card on file and scamming you two years later. They changed name but its still a fraudulent business. Also, their software suck, its buggy and the quality of data is bad, there are tons of competitors that are better. Stay away!

We generate more MQL's that we never had in the past

Our marketing and inside sales use the platform to identify new business deals and book appointments. For us, it worked as extremely well, we've almost added in the first 6 months 220% more pipeline, booked in average 2.3 more meetings a day per rep and closed deals went up about 45%. We got approx 300% more leads from anonymous website visits. Our marketing team works really well on retargeting companies and contacts from anonymous visitors based from where they came, paid AdWords or what they had interest on our website, /product or /pricing. Today we generate more MQL's that we never had in the past. We love their data, is the most accurate compared with what we've used in the past.

The truth is that Voogy did rise above my expectations, I love how easy it is to do lead generation with this tool, and find so much variety within the category you are searching. The data is very accurate and it’s just so easy when everything is automated. They also have the best support ever, the guys I talked to always explained everything in detail with shared screen videos so I can get everything done correctly. In this way I learned to use the platform at it’s full potential. I’ve been using Voogy in the past 5 month and the improvement is truly visible. This is the perfect tool to make your company grow, in a fast and productive way. Everybody has to try the Voogy platform, it’s a real game changer!

Great service! Very easy to use

Very easy to use. Voogy does what it says.I have tried a few email automation/ marketing campaign tools out there and Voogy is by far one of the most - well - handy. The thing I really love about it is that they have a bunch of people that respond to your questions or requests in very short time. They do have a lot of pros, it’s actually amazing to see when they open your emails. The only con is that I didn't find this amazing tool sooner! It's brought such a boost to my business and taken my lead generation to the next level
