I started out my scooter journey on a Nanrobot D4+ 2.0. I realized very quickly that I would need something faster and smoother. I discovered VoroMotors, and ordered myself a Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro. Shipping was great, everything arrived very fast, the build quality on the scooter was through the roof. VoroMotors offers peak performance at a lower price than any market around. Customer service is great, they helped me with every little problem I had. I went on to order two Emove Roadrunners from VoroMotors, they arrived in great quality and were the best sitting scooters I have ever ridden on. When I wanted more power, I ordered an Emove Roadrunner Pro, once again from VoroMotors. I never need another electric scooter again, they were the best purchases I have ever made, and for the sake of fun, I will always be buying the newest product available. Thank you VoroMotors!
I've had mixed experiences with this company. On one hand, they have provided me with helpful information, but on the other hand, I've encountered significant issues with the construction of my emove cruiser. I purchased it in September of '23, and I've had to deal with various problems since. Firstly, I had to replace the battery, which was covered under warranty, but I had to pay for shipping. Additionally, I had to change the brake rotor due to a small crash, and I'm still waiting for updates on when the replacement will be shipped.
I also had to order some tiny screws at the end of March, and it's taking a full month for them to arrive. I bought a rechargeable light from the company, and even though the first one died, I assumed it was my fault. However, the replacement I bought in May still isn't charging, and I'm concerned that it will stop working after a short period, leaving me unable to make a warranty claim.
The construction of the emove cruiser is also disappointing. Removing any of the fenders or plastic parts that attach the lights to the deck of the cruiser easily strips them, making it impossible to use screws. I've had to resort to using adhesives to keep them in place, as waiting for the necessary screws is taking too long. It's frustrating that the company is constantly out of stock for parts, and instead of indicating this on their website, they allow orders to be placed, leading to unnecessary delays and frustration.
It's important for the company to improve its online interface for ordering parts and to manage its stock more effectively. If a part is out of stock, it should be clearly marked as such to avoid the inconvenience of waiting for months and damaging the scooter during repairs.
I absolutely love this place. I first came here in August 2022 in search of a new electric scooter after I suffered with a different company. They were top notch professionals. They scheduled my appt, and I was able to try several scooters before I settled on the one I wanted. I purchased the Emove Cruiser. And have had it ever since. The Scooter had 1 or 2 glitches (manufacturer issues) but that was quickly resolved by the technicians. Each time I brought it in for service such as changing of tires, new throttle or even for Q and A, they have always been accommodating and professional. Even today, I called about my scooter regarding any upgrades and spoke with Mike who took his time with me and really gave me great information. I have recommended this place to several co-workers and so far one of them have made a purchase. The warranty i think is only for 1 year but that's not bad at all, unlike other companies that give you 3 months. I recommend Voromotors (in Brooklyn). They are patient and very experienced.
Cesar is extremely helpful and assisted us with getting replacement parts shipped for our broken down Emove cruiser. Strongly recommend him! Thanks Cesar!
Took the kids Segway out with the emove crusier. I have to be honest the engineering behind the Segway is just superior. The ingenious mechanic of the bell hooking to the back when folded to the display on the top is just nice. The bar locking upright is also just awesome. The light on it shoots about 12feet out is bright enough to see where mine is dim and about 4 feet.
My first experience ever I loaded them into the car being they fold up and set up easy, but on my way back the Emove locking pin was stuck in. I’m pretty strong and I could just not pull it from the upright locked position. I got home and used some channel locks to create leverage to get it out. So for 800$ extra you get good high grade materials with lack luster engineering in my opinion.
I returned a new EMOVE Cruiser S scooter for refund. My wife did not feel safe riding it. I was disappointed with the additional time and lack of progress status I received. It seemed to take longer than the advertised time to receive, inspect and refund. It seemed like only after I persistently checked in, did I finally receive my refund. The persons I chatted with were friendly. There could have been better, more timely communication on the progress without me having to aks.
I purchased a Emove Cruiser S on March 26, 2024. I received it on March 29, 2024. One immediate concern was missing set screw to tighten the ignition switch to the handlebars. The packaging was also terrible. I took the scooter for it's first ride on April 8th. The delay was getting myself a helmet. I noticed right away the steering wasn't right. I couldn't understand why. I took it to my garage and found a defective tire and rim. I called Voro Motors and they never answer the phone, never. I requested an RMA via email and wanted to send it back. They did call back twice and I spoke with them and they said they never received my email for an RMA. That said I requested it over the phone. They never provided one. They sent me a random email this past Friday saying they never heard from me and my case number was being closed. I never received a case number. They will send random emails requesting you to provide a review. I selected the 1 start and let it out not to buy from these folks. When I hit the send button it changed my 1 start to 5 stars. This company is a scam. They do not stand by what they sell. They provide no support and use devious and deceptive practices. Take my advice and run, as fast as you can from this company.
It really pains me to write this review because I honestly really wanted to like this product. I thought it would tick off all the boxes of durability, customer service, long range, comfort, and most importantly, safety.
First, to make this a balanced review, I will start with the positives about the product. The E-Move Cruiser, when actually working, has a lot of real-world range, and in my personal opinion, it looks really cool. But that's where the fun stops.
My purchase of the E-Move Cruiser electric scooter has been an unmitigated disaster, and there is no exaggeration when I say it's the worst purchase I've ever made. What's truly unbelievable is that customers who have invested upwards of $2000 in this product are being treated so poorly.
From the very beginning, this scooter has been a source of fear and frustration. While the reviews and promotional materials painted a picture of excellence, the actual experience has been nothing short of a safety hazard. Shockingly, I received minor burns from an electrical shock while attempting to charge the scooter. Safety should be paramount, and this incident is inexcusable.
The issues did not stop there. In the same week of ownership, I encountered problems with the scooter's build quality. Loose bolts around the rear wheel and fold mechanism indicate a lack of craftsmanship and quality control, making it clear that the product's actual quality does not match its advertised durability.
The problems extended to the customer support and the extended warranty I purchased for peace of mind. Dealing with their customer support was a nightmare. They provided no clear communication, leaving me uninformed about the repair process and subjecting me to a bewildering runaround with multiple phone representatives and specialists.
This purchase has been a complete and utter disappointment, and I can honestly say it's the worst I've ever made. It's essential for prospective buyers to be aware of the safety risks, subpar product quality, and the terrible customer support that comes with the E-Move Cruiser. What's truly astonishing is that customers who invest over $2000 are being subjected to such treatment. There is no exaggeration in saying that this scooter has been a catastrophic letdown.
I also encourage other people who have had similar experiences to leave their feelings on the Better Business Bureau's page. Explore alternative electric scooter options that prioritize safety, quality, and reliable customer service.
Buyer beware on the Emove Cruiser and Voro Motors.
I purchased my Emove Cruiser in Nov 2021 online from the shop in LA. It arrived in NYC with issues. Missing screws, loose screws, wires too short which would disconnect. The front brakes needed to be replaced. This began a continual series of issues and problems with the scooter, both minor and major. (Noted at bottom)
While the shop in Brooklyn did try to mitigate these issues, I had to cajole and push them to do so. They continually tried to shirk responsibility, and sometimes did not correct an issue or it left the shop with new issues. I don't believe Voro Motors is out there intentionally trying to screw people. I do believe they don't want to stand behind their product, and do not have the right trained technical repair staff, nor use good parts or a good build. They often suggested it was my riding style which caused the problems. For clarity, I ride it in the bike lanes here in NYC to commute to and from work.
After the scooter arrived and they fixed the first issues, the front wheel and shocks and shock mount fell right off after the bolt holding the shock mount the frame sheared off. This was after repeatedly informing both Brooklyn and LA shop that the scooter felt unsafe and too wobbly, in spite of frequent tightening of screws. They assured me everything was ok. Spoiler alert: It was not. As noted, the entire front wheel and shock section fell off, and they replaced it.
The rear wheel went flat and after finding no leaks, a local, well respected scooter shop told me the wheel was rubbing against the rim and causing it to deflate. I took it to Brooklyn, informed them of the issue. They disagreed with the assessment. However, the tire was flat and has no leaks. They inflated the tire. Spoiler alert, it went flat again a few weeks later.
I've had to replace the rear brakes three times, without having ridden the scooter much from Nov-March. Again, the shop suggested I was riding the brakes the too hard. I can tell you I was using the brakes in a natural, standard way while driving the scooter in a bike lane.
The battery failed. This is after I told them it wouldn't hold a charge, I brought it to the shop, and they told me it held a charge for them. I took it home, the battery wouldn't hold a charge! I took it back to shop, they called me a few days later to say they have more experienced battery techs now and indeed have confirmed the battery has failed.
And now lastly, the front tire and shocks feel way too loose and unsafe again. I feel strongly all these issues are due to poor parts, bad build and bad tech. This scooter clearly can not be used in regular use on regular city roads. In fact, after all this, the company has informed me that this $1500 scooter that can go 25MPH should not be ridden on uneven roads as that can damage the scooter. They also told me I was free to sell it to someone else If I was dissatisfied. All in all a very disappointing, exasperating situation, made more so by a company that has be to dragged along just to honor basic responsibility for repairs and service.
I do not and can not in good conscience recommend this scooter or the company service.
