Worst company ever

Worst company ever! I have been fighting with them to get almost 2k from my HRA account. I have submitted correct paperwork and they cannot tell me why my reimbursement was denied. This is my money not theirs. I’m considering hiring a Attorney to get the remainder of my HRA from them or my old employer in cash. I did not retire to sit on the phone for hours with this company.

I was owed a refund due to having…

I was owed a refund due to having double coverage. It’s been 3 months and at least 20 customer service reps later (not including 2 managers) and nothing is resolved. I have done everything the service reps have instructed me to do, and nothing is working. I’ve become so frustrated and spent so much personal time on the phone, that I am giving up and cutting my losses on the $400 they owe me. Apparently they do not train their customer service people at all. But honestly, I feel this is all by design so that people get frustrated and just give up and move on.

Has to be the worst HSA anyone has…

Has to be the worst HSA anyone has used. Everything submitted they deny, even when it is an obvious medical expense. Then everything you use with your OWN money for medical purposes they want a letter of medical necessity. Hours are spent trying to use your own money and Health Equity doesn’t even look at what is purchased, just denies the claim. So tired of having to spend hours to get my medical services and supplies paid for. Even my Doctor says they are the worst company to deal with for her patients. Really hoping that my company gets rid of them sooner than later. Unbelievable!

Yet another company that likes to add…

Yet another company that likes to add red tape than do work they are contracted to perform.

I became disabled and the company went from Wex to Wageworks. Wageworks pretty much refuses to act appropriately and give me the COBRA extension I am entitled to.

I've gone 4 rounds with them now, and they just can't get out of their own way.

Personally, I think companies need to get fines levied against them for being bad actors when it comes to things that are extremely important to individuals.

I would give 0 Stars if I could.
I had an account with a Visa Debit card with an expiration date of 12/22.
When i tried to use it it was declined.
I have a $540 balance unused. I call the company and I was told the funds were expired and it was past the claim date. But the Visa card had a 12/22 expiration date which I questioned. I was told unused funds were turned over to the employer.. No notification…

Wageworks will find loopholes to steal your money

Wage works is a terrible organization and should be shut down. I would consider it lawful evil.
They spread misinformation probably because all their employees aren't well trained and tell you different things. Awful costumer service and terribly disorganized. My family spent hours on the phone and submitting claims because my healthcare payments were denied. In the end I was the big loser and lost almost 800 dollars. Of course, this is how they make money as is with all health insurance.
They really should be investigated though based on their false and contradicting claims.

In conclusion, If you are in HR trying to decide which HSA to provide for your employees absolutely do NOT chose Wageworks/Health Equity as they do not believe in work or equity.

If you are an employee and this your option for an HSA you might just save money not having one and getting taxed on it. It's really a gamble to put your money with them.

Why is this company still in business

No one knows what they are doing...........This company does not deserve a zero rating they deserve a negative star rating. I really dont understand why this company is still in business doing UNETHICAL practices. I have spent valuable hours on the phone trying to get an issue RESOLVED that I was not the cause of. This company canceled my insurance before my 18 month term was over and ti add I have some very important doctor visits I have been waiting on since 3-4 months ago. Since my insurance has been canceled due to their mistakes I have to suffer. I have been placed on hold for 20-30, lied to, refused to speak to a supervisor, and to add hung up on. No one should have to experience this type of behavior especially dealing with something so sensitive such as medical insurance. I am wondering if the owner/CEO/upper management is aware if the UNETHICAL action taken place with this company.....after reading all the negative reviews on BBB, YELP, GOOGLE REVIEWS I am more than sure they know however, it appears THEY DON'T CARE......I have been deprived of my healthcare by a mistake this company chooses to acknowledge and make right...THIS CAUSE FOR LEGAL ACTIONS..........

Stole $254 from me

Stole $254 from me. If you work for or hire WageWorks to work for you, you are a piece of scum.

The company never delivered its commuter pass to me, I've filed reimbursement requests and they keep getting denied. The people at customer service (including the "supervisors") have walked me through the form multiple times and confirmed everything was filled out correctly.... I have now submitted this form FIVE separate times and every time it gets denied. The claims team has gone so far as to flat out lie that the mailing address I provided was wrong (not true), so they will not reimburse.

I recently found out nobody from customer services has any say on what claims approves or doesn't so calling over the last month has been a complete waste of time. They are all inept. Now it's November, and surprise, surprise, my pass didn't come again. Once more they refuse to reimburse me for the out of pocket expense (on top of the payment that they already pulled from my paycheck).

How are these people not in jail.

This company kept around $100.00…

This company kept around $100.00 because their policy is use it or loose it. I had supposedly ‘saved money” for child care expenses and because I did not used it within certain period of time they kept the money without my permission.

Where is the customer service?

Just had a very bad experience with them. After holding for 20 minutes, Agent 1 picked up the call., however, something wrong with her phone line, so she transferred my call to Agent 2. After waiting for about 10 minutes, Agent 2 answered the call. After I answered all of her verification questions, she told me that her computer system is doing updates and she has to transfer me to a different agent. Finally I got to talk to Agent 3 who sounded impatient… and my reimbursement issue still not resolved. The customer service is definitely not as good as it was. Very disappointed to say the least.

Warning - scammers

Avoid at all costs. Will steal your money. Currently holding $174 hostage as they claim the money "went back to the state". Customer service could not even tell me what state or how to get in touch with someone who did. Money does not just disappear - someone has it. Filed complaint with PA AG, PA DOL, CFPB as well. I am sure others are getting scammed.

Try to find another way of pre-tax transit payments - this one is too risky.

So disappointed in this company

If I could give wage works a worse review than one star, I would. They just took $1200 from me, and as a single mom trying to make it, that is devastating.

I faxed my wage works forms for dependent care reimbursement on April 12, 2021. The deadline to have the forms submitted was April 15, 2021. I received a transmission verification that it was delivered that day. When I followed up on the reimbursement, Wage works claimed that they did not receive it and that it was now past due, so I was to write an appeal. I did and sent in all of the paperwork, along with the verification report that stated it was sent on April 12, 2021. They have denied my appeal, which I am not sure how they can, since I have proof I sent it and it was delivered.
Now, they claim that because my company no longer uses them (as of May 1, 2021) they are not going to reimburse it. So incredibly sad and frustrating when I had put away that money all year to be able to pay for child care this summer.

WageWorks is the worst Company

WageWorks is the worst Company. They should shut them down. I have lost almost $400.00 of Transit Chek Vist Debit cards. I had 3 that I had a problem with and now they expired and they won't replace them. I don't know how a company like this stays in business. I will never use them or recommend them to anyone. Stay clear of them.

WageWorks makes money luring it out of you

They get you to put money in the account for your wife as a dependent and then when you're trying to get a reimbursement for a medical claim, this is what you get:

Not Covered
The expense description is not covered under any of your enrolled plans for the date of service you specified.

Looks like I was supposed to put my wife in the daycare to get this money back. Enjoy my $500, morons.

After paying $1669 a month for COBRA

After paying $1669 a month for COBRA, I have to call what seems to be every month, 5 times in 6 months, to be sure that Wageworks communicates to UnitedHealthcare that my premiums are paid. Then I'm told that it'll take 5-7 business days for UHC to receive the communication. In the meantime, my claims for the previous month have all been denied for not paying the premium. I don't understand how in these days of instant information and communication we can have such a disconnect. I guess I'll be calling again every day until the problems are resolved.
