Beautiful glasses!

I purchased the Fleming frame from W&H and this is without a doubt the best pair of glasses I have ever owned. First of all, I love the fact that they have this popular frame in a larger head size (not just the lens diameter up-scaled) and secondly, the craftsmanship is excellent! The acetate is extremely soft and comfortable and the triple barrel hinges are really durable.

Weak design leads to breakage?

I bought a pair of "Milton" glassed from them in 2018, loved the design and style, the fact that the company was founded and based in the United Kingdom and established in 1946 made me feel secure in buying from them even if they were quite expensive. I noticed a couple of days back that the metal nose bridge had cracked where it is screwed together, this model is no longer on their website (I don't know if this is due quality issues). I asked if they could fix them but they said no, and only option was to buy a new pair at full cost and they failed to answer/acknowledge any of the questions I raised on the possible design issues. I know all things eventually break or wear our, but I did expect a pair of £230.00 glasses plus lenses would last a little longer that a pair of £15.00 inc lenses pair from Boots. Its a pity as they look great and everyone always asked were I got them from..........I guess no more!
