We have eaten their sliced loaf for years but just lately just after Three or Four days its going mouldy,we will have to find something else.(sad was good)

I love their fruity tea cakes. Such a lovely change.
I think some people expect them to taste like hot cross buns which they are not!

The bread is considered UPF ULTRA PROCESSED FOOD. Your stomach is likely to be in knots eating this. Research what this means for your digestive system. Research what complications these products can do to someone with a slight sensitivity to the ingredients used to make these products and you might be or not be surprised.
While medieval bread was a super food, made to last a day. Modern day bread is a the complete opposite, modern day bread has been turned into poison. Research into this, look at the ingredients...

They state their products are suitable for vegans and vegetarians yet alongside they have halal accreditation. They pay Muslims for this accreditation and I find it totally inappropriate to pay to a religion which enforces torturing animals at slaughter. All animal lovers should boycott Warburtons.

Found a raisin or sultana in my tea cake, just the one. Very disappointing, I love a buttered toasted fruity tea cake with a cup of tea. This was not the treat I was looking for.

Warburton toastie bread has changed for the worse. It has changed taste and texture. It is as dry as a bone. Crumbling when toasted and turns to cardboard and has an awful chemical after taste. Safe to say I won't be buying it again.

Quite surprised by so many bad reviews here, had Warburton's on and off for years and always found their bread to be some of the best out there, I was in a rush for bread a couple days ago and all that was available was Warburtons farmhouse white loaf and now can't leave the thing alone I've demolished this loaf within hours, unbelievable taste and a very soft nice tasting bread and will be my choice from now on for sandwiches.

The bread itself is OK but the thin, waxy paper packaging is a nightmare. Terracycle.
It rips way too easily, so the bread doesn't stay as fresh as you'd like, for as long as you'd like.

Lost count of the amount of times we've picked up the loaf and the entire package has ripped apart.

There's nothing special about how it's recycled either. It just goes in with the other basic plastics at your local supermarket.

We've switched to bread (Aldi's own) that stays in a plastic packaging that gets recycled at the exact same place.

If I could I would give this company 0 Stars is just about profit.... The amount of chemicals they are putting in the bread is insane absolutely horrible bread

Toastie bread is awful.. it should say medium slice.. and the crusts are like razor blades! I bet Samuel L Jackson doesn't eat it!
It's no wonder that you hide the bread with the packaging.. nobody would buy it if they could see it!
Should be reported to Trading Standards for Misrepresentation or Fraud!

I had the misfortune of buying seed rolls of the gluten free range I eat I became extremely sick with pain in my stomach and I realised it was from the roll I eat it , I have intolerance and I’m allergic to eggs I can’t eat eggs and I had to induce a vomit to take it out if no I would have a asthma attack too and probably had to go to hospital . To my disbelief I went to read the ingredients and they put white egg in bread . I went to check online it looks like they put egg white in all the bread of gluten free range . How can they claim the bread is suitable for vegetarians if they put egg white on it . Do they know what is the definition of a vegetarian . Also how can they claim to be halal using white egg . Are the chickens that produce the eggs halal , so many questions . I try to contact them to the customer service nobody answers

low taste poor quality! who puts palm oil in bread?! you make a loaf of bread at home and it tastes gorgeous (no palm oil!) yet buy a loaf from the super market and its tastes of nothing, feels wrong and is full of palm oil! and a brand name like warburton as well!

This company are at the forefront of the art of Shrinkflation. Currant Teacakes, down in size up in price. Absolutely Disgusting they're a total ripoff.

Was concerned about the time it takes to read the ingredients list on a typical loaf of bread. Some of the ingredients are unpronounceable. So thought I'd try, what I thought was the good quality stuff, Warburton's. Paid £1.40, instead off the usual 99p. Jesus, it tasted like soap, god knows what's actually in it. Years ago bread was made of flour , year water and salt. Now it's the glow in the dark stuff. Now I. The market for a bread maker and will use the afore mentioned ingredients only. You're risking your health eating this crap.

Can you please tell me what the chemical taste is in the warbutons thick sliced loaf. Las5 2 loafs I've bought were awful

I'm so disappointed with the slop you are putting into your bread and other products, tea cakes containing so many e numbers, it's such horrible chemicals and you don't care about human health, it's sick..in a bad way

It was horrible , tasteless , bland and definitely not what it used to be!
Just what have they changed?
The raisins were bitter !!!
Cheap ones or had they gone off ?
My instinct says CHEAPER VERSION !!!

The Toastie loaf is now thin sliced.
Only actual proper toasty loaf is Iceland. This bread is terrible.
Another company cost cutting.

I have just tried the new our dough.sodabread 3 pieces.2 with spread and 1 with spread and jam .I think it is the best bread Warburton has made in a long time.i toasted it was crisp and soft. . well done Warburton.

Besides the mold issue, it is so thin that when i try to toast it, it ends up like a biscuit - ??
