Online Support - Once I eventually got through to the Repair section online chat (Repair - Note your option 4 'other' goes round in a continuous loop!) Customer Service help from Amy was great and forthcoming.

Wife's golf r needed a new steering rack, repair was approved but only with a reconditioned second hand part, not a new one, garage doing the job said that they were not happy fitting a second hand part and couldn't guarantee there work or now long the part would last. Compland to warrantywise was told look at the fine print as it was in their terms and conditions, that they can use second hand parts. Be very aware

I recently had transmission problems which my specialist garage identified from the car's computer report system. Despite a long delay obtaining the very expensive parts required, I now have the vehicle back. Warrantywise were excellent from reviewing my claim through to paying me most of the repair cost back within a couple of days after repair.

Process of claiming was really simple and payout was fast. The only problem I had was that the work that needed doing took a lot longer that Warrantywise stated and cost me more money. On their quote it said that the labour would be just over 1 hour when realistically it was 4.5 hours.

Hamza is spot on. The best worker in the business. Cheers again.

My overall experience was ok.
I had to constantly go back and forth between the garage and warrentywise to get my repairs requested and fixed but this was also partly the garage not wanting to contact warrenty wise.
Warrentywise state on there website and when taking out warrenty they will do both sides of suspension components etc but in my experience this did not happen when I had the damper and spring fail only the 1 side that failed was fixed. This is ok as at least my car got fixed but if they state to do both why did this not happen especially when the garage asked for both sides to be fixed.
When it came to payment this was a good, easy and quick experience, payment was approved and in my bank with in 2 days

Claim eventually honoured, but only after months of chasing
I wanted to wait until my complaint had been fully concluded before leaving a review.
My BMW suffered a VANOS/timing chain failure and my claim was initially declined. After escalating the matter to Warrantywise’s Independent Expert Adjudicator, Edd China, the decision was overturned and my repair was approved in full.
Whilst I’m grateful the repair was eventually authorised, the customer service throughout the process was disappointing.
I repeatedly had to chase for updates, there were delays reviewing documents that had already been submitted, and communication was poor throughout. After the repair was approved, the reimbursement was delayed further when the cheque issued to me was rejected due to a processing irregularity, meaning payment eventually had to be made by BACS instead.
To their credit, Warrantywise acknowledged that their communication fell below the standards they aim to provide, apologised for aspects of the service and the CEO personally reviewed my complaint. However, despite acknowledging these shortcomings, they declined to offer any goodwill payment for the considerable time, inconvenience and stress caused.
My advice to anyone considering Warrantywise is to keep copies of everything, follow up regularly and don’t be afraid to escalate your case if you genuinely believe a decision should be reviewed.
In the end, my repair was paid in full, but the journey to get there was far more difficult than it should have been.

Phone around first and make sure you have a garage willing to deal with Warrantywise.
Its not their fault per se, but garages unwilling to deal with you due to difficulty in getting work authorised or delays in payments made me think in future, just put the money in the bank. Real waste of £500.
Only garage ive found willing to do work with Warrantywise is over 30 miles away and as long as i paid upfront with “you try claiming money back from them”.
I did email them about 10 days after informing them of fault, asking for a list of approved repairers that the T&Cs mention, but even the 5 local Halfords garages, although “work together” didnt have the time ir space to deal with Warrantywise and refused yo book me in.
