I previously purchased a mattress from Warren Evans in 2012 (Harmony King Size). I loved it but after twelve years it had loss some of its perk (understandably). So I decided to replace it in July 2024 with another mattress from Warren Evans. I went for the top of the range Organic 4000 Ultimate Air which cost me £1,398.

I was expecting this new mattress to be as great as my previous purchase but it is a massive disappointment.
This mattress is absolutely awful. I am not being superlative.

After just 3-4 months a noticeable depression started to form in the middle of the mattress where I sleep, and it got progressively worse over the next months.

I tried moving position to lie down more towards either edge of the mattress, but the dent in the mattress is so pronounced that if I lie down anywhere except the very center of the mattress, I can feel my body is tilted sideways down towards the center “ditch”, which is very uncomfortable. The sag is so pronounced that I can actually see the dip that runs down the central axis of the mattress.

I have had this mattress for less than a year, and I am facing the very real prospect of needing to buy another mattress, given how uncomfortable this mattress has become. That is £1,398 pretty much wasted. I am extremely disappointed with this mattress.

My old Warren Evans mattress was still more comfortable after 12 years of use that this new higher-spec mattress is just after 11 months. I must have received a dud, a "defective" mattress, if there is such a thing. I do not understand how it would be possible for the manufacturing quality to have decreased this much.

As previously, the company’s delivery service was great (and included the disposal of my old mattress for free), but this new Organic 4000 mattress I have purchase is just terrible, there is no other word for it.

The Warren Evans Platform Bed is badly designed - don't buy it. A central prop under the bed is made of plywood. The plywood prop fails over as time and the middle of the bed drops. Warren Evans customer service is terrible, after informing them of the issue when the bed was less than 8 weeks old they accused us of misusing a bed (classic) and that we could have a replacement part but would have fit it ourselves. We did this and it has since failed again. Don't waste your money or time on this buy a bed that works. The mattress is good though.

Excellent customer service from Josh at the Wandsworth Showroom. He gave expert advice to inform our purchase of a new mattress and helped us replace a broken slat on our existing bed frame. Professional service throughout.

Our third bed from here. I like it that the frames are over-engineered - they use thicker wood that is strictly necessary, making for a strong and long lasting frame. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

We bought the Organic+ 2000 after trying it out at the Southwark/London Bridge show room. Dawid was the salesperson and we can't speak too highly of his help and professionalism. Delivery was easy to arrange and the delivery people were super-quick, efficient, polite and took away all the packaging material. The mattress is comfortable and well made; our only quibble is that it would be easier to manoeuvre and turn if it had handles on the top and bottom edges, not just the sides. We would definitely visit Warren Evans again if we need another mattress. Thanks Dawid and team!

To begin with their premises are stunning, both outside and inside. It is a real pleasure to go there. The vast number of beds and mattresses are beautifully displayed and the quality is great. The personal service is excellent.

I always buy my beds from Warren Evans due to the high quality. Recently though, they have gone above and beyond. I rather stupidly, tried to move my kingsize platform bed and rather than lifting it, I pulled, forgetting there are supports in the middle and ending up damaging one of these. I contacted Warren Evans and asked if they would be able to send me the replacement part. They are not only replacing it but also fitting it for me and all free of charge! This is fantastic and so different from other companies who can just leave you high and dry.

Our experience was really fantastic. It’s not often you have to buy a mattress so making the right decision can be a lot of pressure. We thought we knew which mattress we wanted but having spoken with Joe we realised there were a few things we hadn’t considered. His knowledge and explanation really helped us make the best decision. Also, knowing that we had 10 weeks if we changed our mind, put us at ease. Thanks Joe.

I received very helpful and friendly service at the Camden showroom. Then, upon delivery of my bed today, less than 2 weeks after placing the order, the two guys were also friendly, putting together the bed very quickly.

This was my fourth bed and mattress over many years and the quality remains excellent. This time I was having items delivered far north of the country rather than London and Rochelle was fantastic in helping to sort out alternative delivery arrangements and answering any questions.

Friendly welcome at their Camden showroom - including a cup of tea! - and useful advice and information to help me choose the right mattress. This will be my 3rd Warren Evans mattress so obviously I'm a fan both of their natural products and recycling old mattresses free of charge ...
