I have just taken an EV on a salary sacrifice scheme and as part of the package Wattif were to install a charger at my house.
I took delivery of the vehicle but didn't hear anything about when the charger would be installed, I had no correspondence whatsoever from Wattif until I chased hard. Finally had the charger fitted a couple of days ago but it doesn't work, I called their helpline and spoke to someone who had very poor English and he told me he didn't know when it would be sorted, maybe in 3-4 days!
I'm currently charging the vehicle on a 3 pin plug which has burnt out two sockets already.
****UPDATE****
The charger has now stopped working and according to the app has no connection?! Customer service pretty useless again, I've spent hours today trying to get it resolved and now I have a vehicle with only 30 miles of charge and a long journey to do tomorrow! I'm regretting the fact that I was daft enough to take delivery of an electric vehicle now, the whole thing is an absolute scam!
Petrol and diesel engines have to continue, they've been tried and tested for decades and remain reliable for years.
