I would give it a minus if I could

I would give it a minus if I could. I took my ill husband for lunch in Newbury. We found a table on the outside pavement & were turfed out by a rude waitress who said no dogs ate allowed. I've never heard anything so ridiculous. The tables are spaced wide apart. Our dog just lies down under the table & sleeps. What is the problem with having a dog in an outside area. You've lost our business for life!

No service

A friend went to Wetherspoons cleethorpes for breakfast after a recommendation. She's elderly and blind in one eye. She ordered a breakfast and asked for a cup of tea, the bar lady pointed to the machine and said she had to get it from the machine.
She told her she couldn't use it, the server then said well that's the only way to get a drink, didn't offer to help!! So my friend cancelled her breakfast apologised she couldn't use the machine and left. Just disgusting service and how belittling for my friend.

Bad customer service from the girl who works behind the bar

Weatherspoons Honiton, Devon best to avoid this pub.
If you want to avoid long queues at the coffee machines (which are always packing up) whilst your dinner is left at you table getting stone cold. Dare complain at the bar counter and the obnoxious girl behind the bar will ban you for life. She is anything but pleasant when it comes to customer service.
The branch has lost a lot of its customers as she is always banning somebody or another and they have recently reduced some of their prices to try and entice new people in. But do not be fooled the same rude and stubborn girl still works behind the bar.

I want to complain about the racist I assume manager who served us.
Firstly we were waiting at the bar whilst he had already served someone looked at us standing there and carried on his conversation with the white customer person he had just served.
When he turned to serve us we order and I ordered a small Prosecco he handed the glass which clearly had a small white mark inside.
I mentioned it and he said its steam he looked a the mark handed it me back and said it’s nothing.
Please advise me at that point why he would not have just changed the glass. I said again there’s the mark he snatched the glass a put another one down.
If we had not paid I would have walked out. He was lucky at the time we had just left me daughter and her partner as they would have called him out for the racist he was and the way he
I am 61 this year and my partner is 62. We don’t need to feel this rubbish at our time of life.
It may seem trivial but why was he questioning me and making a fuss over a glass. It would have made slightly more sense if he’d poured the drink in, but a glass that could be washed. He was flexing his dislike of a woman of colour questioning him in his pub.
I’m sure if it was his white regulars he would have ran to get another glass, or better still apologised and offered the drink on the house.

I sent this to Weatherspoons customer service
Their reply we'll ask the area manager to have a word with REALLY !
WE TAKE OUR OBLIGATION TO THE EQUALITY ACT 2010 VERY SERIOUSLY

Awful food

Awful food. Paid £10.71 for 12 chips, and a child's overcooked burger. Would have enjoyed it more if they had offered me the table leg. A disgrace...you should all be ashamed.

A group of 8 of us arranged to go into London and have a meal in the liberty bounds (weather spoons) in tower hill, before walking around the tower of London. we sat down in the pub deciding what we were going to eat and drink. Then we went down stairs and ordered our meals our meals were put down on the tables and all of our meals were cold my cousin had to tell the man that that hers was not edible because it was too cold and and the bloke gave us that attitude that is was not the chefs fault it was the kitchens fault and then he walked off my partner and daughter felt sick and so did some one else we did complain but that fell on deaf ears I don't think they should be serving food in there

Disgusting managerial behaviour figure of 8 Broad St Birmingham

Witherspoon pub Figure of 8 Broad St Birmingham.
Did not even have a drink. Ordered a beer, when tasted was obviously off (been drinking beer nearly 60 years), reported to staff who was prepared to refund cash as there were no other beers I fancied, but had problem due to using 50 p CAMRA token & called manager. This person was immediately hostile, refused to refund money paid, said beer was alright & then accused me of swearing at staff & demanded I leave. He came round bar attempted to take my phone from me, said I couldn't record, which is untrue & manhandled & assaulted me me while pushing me out the door. Of course I did not respond to his behaviour as aware of law. Manager had bodycam so Witherspoon should be able to investigate behaviour. I am 73 years old this was my first pint of the day. I'm sorry, that they cannot take negative feedback on their beer & £2.68 is too much for Witherspoon to return but that their managerial staff should resort to such disgusting behaviour is an absolute disgrace.

Called in to Wetherspoons in Haverfordwest.

Called in to Wetherspoons in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire as it was my wife's birthday today 28th March. One young girl behind the bar, a queue of people all jumping the queue and total chaos. Waited for 15 minutes with more people coming up to order with no priority beintg given to people who had been waiting the longest. 2 chaps running around around behind the bar just serving drinks to tables. We left and found an alternative restaurant which turned out to be rather good. We have been using this branch for many years but this has really put us off going again. Not a good experience . Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Lord of the Isles - Renfrew

This is verging close to being the worst meal I have ever had. Usually go to the Brandon works Weatherspoons in Motherwell and never had a bad meal there, however the food here is almost unedible.
Family of 4 and everyone's chips were tepid/lukewarm, undercooked as the potato was crunchy on the inside, soggy outside and cold.
American cheeseburger - what a poor excuse for a burger. No sauce, a dairy lee cheese slice thrown on top of a dry, cold burger and a massive thick slice of gherkin. Didn't even think to melt the cheese
All day brunch - the bacon could have been revived with decent CPR. The fried eggs looked and tasted like it had been frying for a fortnight, sausages were cold. The beans were ok.
Cheese and Ham Panini - the panini itself was doughy as if someone hadn't baked it. Again a cheese slice - not melted.
Honestly the worst meal I can remember having in a long long time. Will never be back.

Lord Wimborne in Poole Dorset

Lord Wimborne in Poole Dorset.
I am a great lover of a cooked English breakfast.
Having tried a few establishments over the many years I have lived here.
I now, since Christmas, have been frequenting the Lord Wimborne.
There seems to have been a world shortage of baked beans recently. Instead of a healthy half ladle full on your plate. You now only get about 20 beans in a bit of sauce.
This has been going on for quite a while and it's annoying because it leaves nothing for the toast to mop up😕
