Good hoster, fast support!

Webtropia is definitely one of the best providers out there. They have an extremely helpful support, great prices and a perfect service (so far obviously).
And it is important to point out that they respect deadlines for processing orders. They delivered my 2 dedicated servers within few hours which was way faster than what they mentioned on the website.

Webtropia is indeed THE hosting service to recommend.

I have servers with them for 3 years, no unexpeted server or network downtime, they are reliable.

Bad customer service, I'm still waiting for my server to be installed more than 12 hours. And now they asked for a copy of my ID/Password and that is ridiculous, never seen any hosting company asking for these. I won't order again and I don't recommend to anyone else

This review is an update to those I have already left regarding Webtropia. Holy crap are these the most incompetent people you could ever deal with. I mean blatantly bad. As you can see I wrote a couple of fairly negative reviews of these guys previously and was actually considering removing those at the end of this month if things changed for the better. Thank God I waited. So I'm travelling on business last week and on return this weekend I find an email from Webtropia issuing an urgent demand for me to install and run a Microsoft server validation application along with multiple threats to shut my server down if I dont by the very short deadline they provided (two days). Ok. I mean they installed the license for me, one would think they would install and run this application at that time since this agreement is something they are required to do for Microsoft...but I guess that's only what good server rental companies do. So, not being entirely familiar with how/where to properly install and run this application and knowing it was on the weekend, so I preferred not to bother my server tech and asked if they could do this for me. They responded yes and to give them all of my credentials to log onto my server. Really? Really? Give you my credentials so you can access all of my files and clientele's private information? I dont think so and what server rental company with any integrity would ask for that!!!? So, I contacted my tech, who was equally shocked at what was requested, but proceeded to complete/run the application. He provided me a screen shot of it having ran and I responded to Webtropias rude email with the screen shot of it. Getting to the office today I see an email from Webtropia stating I have failed to install and run the requested application and they have a shut my server down. Usually when I receive their idiotic emails such as this, to include the previous 4 threatening ones, the technician sending it signs it. Nope, not this time. The person who did didn't even have the professionalism (or stones) to do that. Oh, and I have another server with these incompetents (for now), and I have never heard one peep out of them to install or run this application.......STAY FAR AWAY from Webtropia is my advice to anyone looking for quality servers with professional customer service.

Webtropia is part of the MyLoc group (MyLoc for professional users, Webtropia for prosumers and Servdiscount for budget servers). I went with Webtropia for a personal server, after having gained positive experiences with MyLoc for some business servers.

Webtropia offers hosting servers, including Ryzen and EPYC servers. Fed up with Intel due to all the leaks that came to light in 2018, I decided to up the ante while switching to AMD for a hobby project. Of all the providers, Webtropia seems to be the most cost-effective choice.

Though I wouldn't expect the perfect service I came to experience with MyLoc - since it's a different division with way lower prices - though they have surpassed this by being extremely helpful and swift, even in the odd hours. For future expansion, MyLoc and Webtropia have become a household name and no-brainer. Highly recommended!

Webtropia had an amazing deal which was hard to find anywhere else. No upsells or funny business tactics ever. Great business etiquette and the staff are always willing to help (quickly!)

The management console is clean and efficient. We get timely notifications all news and server maintenance and I've not had a random server shutdown for over a year. The site is also secure, which is a plus. You also get standard images to boot your server up from, and they always boot up right on time with all software correctly installed.

The server performed well as expected and I would highly recommend Webtropia to those looking for a good server at an affordable rate.

I think that Webtropia offers the best value for money that I know.

I own the leading gaming community in the Balkans. I'm using a long time webtropia servers, as far as the server is concerned, I can only say words of praise, but the support is almost dominates. We, community owners knows that good server support is the most important thing. These guys are too strong. I do not need to think when they will respond to the ticket, because they are doing almost instant. They do not give up until they solve the problem. Webtropia's servers for each recommendation.

I have been a customer since 2014 and so I had my fair amount of issues with them but they have always been fair to me in resolving the issues I had.

I have an extended invoice period, I had hardware failures (on a dedicated server) that were resolved with not too much problems, and they always replied and resolved issues within their SLA's.

They also refunded me money when I upgraded my server and canceled my old contract which became redundant.

The only problem I have is that they say they fully support English but their English can sometimes be lacking, which can lead to confusion. The same goes for their website and customer portal where some of the options are just not translated at all. I do speak some limited German so I understand what it is trying to say but again, it leads to a bit of confusion sometimes.

Conclusion:
The products I have used with them are all excellent price for value and they have a fast and smart support team. They respect their SLA's and understand that billing works different for everyone and in different countries. The only negative is the support in English, which would be less of a problem is they didn't state that they fully support English customers. The translated interfaces on the website and customer portal suffer from the problem.

We have currently an Dedicated Server where we host an Teamspeak 3 Server, 4 ARK and 1 Arma 3 Gameservers.
Its all working fine.
