I recently purchased a Weekend MaxMara Dollaro Jumpsuit. On the first time of wearing it came away from the seam in the legs area, the colour ran and the material seemed to be rotten as the garment went into holes in other leg areas as I moved. I had to leave the event I was at to get changed as I could not stay in the jump suit as the holes were so big. This was purchased from a House of Fraser concession in Bluewater.
I would not expect any garment to go into holes on the first time of wearing but an expensive so called quality brand makes it even more disappointing it’s a shame as it is a lovely comfortable item.
Stupid customer experience and returns process
Purchased the Pantone Dress from the WMM Marylebone Store in mid June. Took it home and the dress had a tear in the front. Took it back to the store to get a refund within their return 'policy'and was met with rudeness and refusal to issue a refund from the shop assistant, with them insisting that they check over their stock before it's sold and the tag was secured in a different spot (it wasn't moved). I'd never worn the 375 pound dress that was already ruined before I even had a chance to wear it. Contacted HQ. Again, more refusal to refund when I passed over all required info and receipts. Now they're ghosting me after I quoted UK consumer law for refunds and replacements to them. I've loved MM and all of its affiliate brands for years but this experience has put a really sour taste in my mouth and I won't be shopping with them again. If they can't accept that an item was faulty or acknowledge that their fabric selection clearly is wrong and they put a dress into production that isn't designed for longevity or sustainability then I'll be shopping elsewhere.

Judy Lan among the rest of the south coast plaza location employees were beyond rude and made me feel so uncomfortable.
I’ve been a customer here for years and my first ever return was a complete disaster over a coat I never wore.
They inspected that coat so badly it was insane.
Over all as cute as these clothes are buying here is so not worth it. The price you pay for them is high and if they aren’t even going to be decent about a single return then so no worth it. You can find better coats in theory and they have such a great return policy and their employees don’t make you feel so uncomfortable. Weekends return policy is horrible and their employees practically are FBI on the item you are returning.
Shop elsewhere or you will throw $1,000 down the drain in one item.
Corp Please thank Judy Lan for saving you guys $900 dollars in my exchange, but will end up costing thousands for all the shopping I would have most definitely done.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE STAY AWAY
Max Mara Weekend shared a wrong address twice with the courier which created issues and delay with my delivery. I was the one who had to spend hours on the phone with rude customer service reps to find out the issue, try to solve it (but they got it wrong twice). No apologies, but instead rude reps telling me to sort it myself with UPS. I spent hours on the phone, I emailed them but no one cared. The worst experience ever, no apologies, no commercial gesture. Just rude people on the phone who cannot even get a 2 line address right. UPS has been amazing and went above and beyond. Max Mara, I never want to do business again with you. STAY AWAY!!!!!
You don't get any accessories in case of lost
I bought last sommer Weekend Max Mara trench coat Macbeth item No 50210717060015.Unfortunately some how the strap on the right arm/sleeve fell out and is gone. I contacted the MM shop and online service, but the only answer was that they don't create any spare accessories, which is very disappointing. I cannot use the trenchcoat without it, because it doesn't look good. They didn't even try to help and it took long time to get an answer.
Terrible returns process
Weekend Max Mara received my package but acknowledges that they lost it internally; now they won’t process the refund. It makes no sense for me to be penalized for an internal error.
Shipment and returns were super easy and the clothing is obviously beautiful.
But this is terrible customer service.

I bought a jacket in November. returned it because the real color was quite a bit different to that shown on the website.... and have not yet received my refund despite the fact, that I have received notice from Max Mara, that they have received the jacket. :-(
