Well I wrote a review earlier because I know Wegmans is one of the only grocery stores that has great customer service and I just love going there on East Avenue Rochester and they made things right that's what it's all about my mother went to Wegmans when we were kids my sister goes I go so the customer service rating I give is a 10 out of a 10 cuz they really do care about their people Ben did called me back and he apologized and I really respect that that's what customer service is all about thanks Ben and the meat department at Wegmans on East Avenue I appreciate that that really touched me.

Danny, and even more so, his offspring Colleen and Nichole are running this place into the ground. Endless egregious price increases, smaller sizes, lesser quality, a general lack of anything on sale, a small selection of digital coupons for family sizes of their own brand.

Of course, one then gets to check yourself out, and assumed you are a thief first.

Hot Bar $16/lb., self-serve coffee (at the same price), the "gourmet" section in general is a joke! I used to grab something to eat before shopping - not anymore.

Yet the Weggie family just sings LA LA LA LA. This is no longer my go to store. Wake up in Rochester.

Yes, suppliers are to blame too. Even the employees don't look happy anymore.

I was so overwhelmed by Wegmans love and support they showed for Abrielle's Benefit. This outstanding company responded to my donation request in a timley fashion and generosity beyond our dreams!!!
The store managers ( Jessica, cashier Karen, and those in charge of donations) at Wegmans in Dewitt NY restored my faith in humanity!! We only shop at Wegmans and will not stop! BIGGEST Thank You

Purchased multiple steaks and realized once I got home that one was marked up 3x higher than the others. Wegmans would not refund me the money because I didn’t have a receipt. Mind you, the packaging says “Wegmans”. I didn’t keep the receipt because I would never have thought I needed to return milk and steaks. Very disappointing.

$2.75 for a single chocolate dipped strawberry!?

HOW DO YOU JUSTIFY SUCH ROBBERY?

I have always had great experiences at this store. It's disappointing to see it have such low reviews. It's like people only go out of there way to talk about something bad that happened. People expect to always have flawless service. So, they never commend that.

I'm here to commend the great experience I always have at Wegmans. I've never had a sour experience and when I need help an associate is always right there to lend a hand.

Wegman's used to be an incredible grocery store, but my 2 Star rating is indicative of where it's at now. Long gone are the days when you could go in there and pick up groceries and eat good food in their sitting area. Fresh cooked pasta and sauces made-to-order, salads, desserts, etc., it was unparalleled in the grocery store industry. Now, everything looks like run of the mill heat and serve like every other store. Then their deli went downhill when most of the lunch meats and deli cheese consists of mainly their own brand. I want the good brands that I've been buying for years. Your brand definitely isn't better. I no longer buy from the deli. Then, although their store-baked bread is still the best in the area, they reduced the size of the loaves- but are charging more. Now, all throughout the store they're removing big name brands and replacing much with their own brand. I can't even go in anymore and buy fresh romaine lettuce because we're reduced to buying bagged lettuce, etc. Their produce department used the amazing. 1) I'm beginning to bake my own crusty bread so I'm already not driving out of my way anymore to go to Wegman's when I need it. 2) The price of your meat is too high. 3) If Whole Foods moves in (we don't have one locally yet), seasoned shoppers are going to put you on hiatus. You're not all that anymore, not for me, anyway. I started doing more grocery shopping closer to home.

I ordered a cookie cake for my son’s 4th birthday with his photo. Wegmans did not disappoint! The cookie cake was SO delicious- rich, moist, and soft!! We are eating it 4 days later and it’s still fresh!

I love this new market on Astor place. I’m not sure why there is so much criticism here.

Wegmans in Colleyville pa is a great place clean great selection great Employees but the powers at be in Wegmans decided to stop using plastic bags?? I'm puzzled on their decision please explained to me when 99.9% of the product you sell are in plastic to not use plastic bags to save the planet makes no sense or maybe Wegmans went woke or completely stupid to deny given you a plastic bag while selling product incased in plasic🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

No more brewed coffee, now serve vending machine coffee. New self check out stations are way too close together. Directions on how to place shopping bags are different on the sign than on the screen prompting an associate to come and investigate .
Chicken is now packaged so that customers cannot see what they are getting. These are just a few of the negative changes that have been slowly happening over the last few years.
On the plus side they still have decent produce and seafood.

Well, I ordered Apple Cider which my hubby went to the store to buy. He didn’t bother to look at the ingredients, and upon inspection, the “apple cider” was no more the. 100% apple juice! Very disappointing because I had just ordered APPLE CIDER from a previous store online and they gave me apple juice, which is why I sent my hubby to the store to get apple cider. Now I’m stuck with two apple juices in the fridge. Fortunately I was able to add apple cider ingredients to make my own apple cider, but it’s very misleading that Wegman’s would label and sell a product claiming to be apple cider, when in fact it’s just APPLE JUICE.

I bought 2 beef tenderloin steaks. I grilled them. One was good…BUT the other was like mush after cooking. I’ve never seen anything like this. It looked like meat but was VERY mushy! Almost as if they pressed bits together to reduce waste. It could have even been meat glue. YUCK!!!! These were pricy steaks. I will never buy steaks at Wevman’s again! I’ll go to Fresh Market or Costco instead.

I was robbed, instacarting and someone just took it, less than 3 minutes.

The prices keep going up but the service and quality do not. The prices are ridiculously high compared to other stores. This would be understandable if they had better quality but that's not the case, just overpriced food. And now they don't provide free bags at the check-out either. Although this is environmentally good, it should help save the company money, but it doesn't seem to affect the high prices. I used to like the food bar but since COVID it has disappeared completely and they only offer ready made-up meals and salad etc. A meal at Wegmans can be $12.00 compared to other store where it's $6-8 for the same thing. And the portion sizes are small. I only go there when I'm desperate for something different but now I don't bother at all because of the ridiculous prices.

the Pharmacist Matt at Taft road pharmacy was so nice and I appreciate what he did to fix the issue with my RX.

What made my experience great was everything from the different fruits vegetables to bagging your items and placing a label on it after you waited the meat section the olive section everything in there was fantastic the prices were great I enjoyed every minute of being in this grocery store.
I am from Atlanta Georgia and I have to say that I am hoping that you guys build a store in Georgia preferably and Morrow.

I’ll start by saying my rant is due partially to applying five times for jobs I’m very qualified for but was politely declined in a form letter. My wife has worked there four years and constantly complained about the slackers that are hired. Practically all the “prepared” meals there come in frozen and heated up. I was at one time impressed or so I thought with wegmans. The prices are ridiculous for low quality. If you live near a Harris Teeter run don’t walk to them to shop……at least you’ll be appreciated
