Dad’s favourite!
I bought a selection of cheeses for my Dad as part of his birthday present and he was absolutely delighted.
He wasn’t familiar with the brand (he lives in a quiet part of Scotland) and has enjoyed experimenting with new flavours. He was impressed with the packaging and the cheese was nice and cool upon arrival. I think this is going to be a regular occurrence!

Easy process and recipients were delighted with presents. I didn’t include a message in my last order but quick call to Will and that was sorted.

Items not packaged securely
Items not packaged securely. Massive damage to 2 jars almost all other items affected by jars contents and shards of glass pierced many cheeses

Hi John. Thanks for leaving a review. I'm glad you were pleased with our customer service. Again I'm sorry that the jars were damaged in transit. We pack the parcels very carefully, and wrap each glass item individually in a special robust cardboard sleeve, so it was clearly mishandled by DHL. I raised this with our account manager as soon as you let us know. We take great pride in the way each of our boxes are packed so again I'm very sorry that your chutneys arrived in such poor condition. I'm glad we were able to sort it out promptly for you though.

Amazing Cheese Company!
We went to the cheese shop next to the warehouse while we were visiting Wales for my daughter's graduation in her Masters in Music Therapy.
We couldn't resist buying more cheese than we needed, and absolutely gorgeous it was too. We bought crackers and chutney, along with chilli jam, some Welsh cakes and chocolate.
Tom was so lovely and friendly, he helped us with our choices and even gave us an ice block to keep the cheese cool and a knife so we could cut the cheese on our picnic overlooking Caerphilly mountain, which Tom recommended as a good spot. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Tom. What a wonderful business. We will definitely be joining as online customers.

The Welsh Cheese Company did its job as one would expect - reasonable delivery time and very good packaging.
The Gorwydd Caerphilly cheese was something else. Before I go on I must say that I am not sensitive to smells - bad smells do not upset me. If you think Camembert cheese smells bad this one is in a different league and I had to buy 2 pieces to get above the £10 minimum order threshold. If the cheese had not been so expensive - it is not bad for artisan cheese - I would have thrown it straight out! I persevered and cut off some rind and in all fairness the cheese eats reasonably well even with the residual smell. It is not crumbly as I understand Caerphilly should be but it has got better as I am getting to the end of the second piece although still not crumbly like Cheshire or Wensleydale. You won't be surprised when I say that I shall not be buying Gorwydd Caerphilly again.
