Due to renovation of our Porch, we needed a really quick turnaround for some slate floor tiles. After initial contact and payment on a Sunday, shipping was made on Monday and arrived on Tuesday morning. I couldn't fault the service and the floor tiles were excellent quality.

From initial enquiry, communication was good with photos of the slab to ensure we were happy.

I needed some slate to border a raised patio project, and the options available was fantastic - literally something to suit any budget, lead times and delivery was swift and the final product was of the highest quality if your looking for slate for any project look no further!

We were looking for four steps made from Welsh slate. Ben responded to our emails quickly and he made it easy to visit him at his workshop. We were able to take as long as we needed to discuss the various options with him, then he delivered exactly what we had asked for on a day that suited us. We have no hesitation in recommending Welsh Slate products.

Ordered a custom made hearth with exact measurements. Work was completed promptly and to great quality. Definitely would use again!

We bought two pieces of Welsh slate for a hearth, after having been let down by a mainstream supplier and Ben was exceptionally helpful from start to finish. He came to our rescue!
He found the perfect piece for us, sent us pictures and gave us advice. The finish on the slate is amazing and proves how very talented a craftsman he is. He turned it around for us in 4 days and allowed us to come and collect it in person.
We also got a tour of his yard and workshop and saw the interesting range of uses for the slate.
We will definitely be using Ben again in the future. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his craftsmanship and services to anyone.

We got a slate hearth from Ben at Welsh Slate Products. Hearth looks amazing, service was excellent, and the price was very competitive.

Ben gave us loads of his time; sending us pictures of pieces, allowing us to check them out in person, and giving us advice on sizing (which was lucky, because he noted our initial plan was actually not compliant with building regs, so he saved us a lot of time and money!).

Ben even helped us get the piece into our fireplace, which I doubt we'd have been able to do without him!

I ordered two fire place hearths from Ben. We discussed the measurements over the phone, and they were delivered - speedily - two days later. All in very good condition, exact measurements, with advice on good maintenance.

Contacted Ben following a recommendation from a joiner friend. Ben was very responsive and was more than happy to help us with the vanity unit project for our bathroom. Ben sorted a quartz top for us in quick time and the finish and piece we had was exactly what we needed.
Very pleased and looking forward to installing it. Great communication, reasonable pricing and quality product. Highly recommend.

I've had various slate products from Ben over the past few years while we've been renovating our house. From slate for lawn edging to beautifully made window and door sills. Always great service and quality slate. Highly recommended.

Do not trust Mr Ben Edge . Second grade slates and if you have a look at his website he does not state his address as he does not want to be found . Has many Live High court judgments against him so don't waste your money . Do not trust all positive feedbacks on this site regarding Welsh Slate Products . Local fair trading are looking into this company

I had been looking for someone to supply, and fit a new hearth and mantlepiece for my fireplace. a workmate recommended this company, and I am so pleased they did. they were very knowledgable, and they knew exactly what I wanted. The whole hearth was delivered and fitted within weeks.
