never again

unclear instruction. I was required to leave my credit cards details at the very early stage and a service fee of €78 was immediately charged for nothing, before contacting the potential landlord, before viewing the property. the live chat is a joke, no staff bothers to see your message in two whole days. there are other agencies would reach out in a very short period of time to answer my enquiry. I will not recommend this service to any person that I know.

I pulled out last minute bc it seemed dogy

So I was looking for an apartment, however, to even establish contact with a possible landlord and exchange numbers and all, I already had to make a pre-booking and enter my credit card details.
When I found something I liked, I did just that and arranged for visiting the room before I pay for it. I was arranging two months in advance... Then however, the landlord accepted, being aware that we arranged a meeting and I haven't seen it yet. So weeroom send me a message, that I have 24 hours to confirm or it will be confirmed automatically and the money would also be automatically withdrawn. This strikes me as highly unusual, why would they just ad hoc withdraw 600 bucks from my account before I haven finished my arrangements. I find this automated withdraw and the whole process highly questionable.

Weroom is the most efficient STUDENT ACCOMODATION SITE. Efficiency and kindness is their KEYWORD.

I cannot not do any other thing than congratulate the WEROOM TEAM for their efficiency and kindness, towards the students searching for a STUDENT ROOM and towards the LANDLORDS, like me.
They are able to match both of us. I want to say specially that, beside there professionality, they have the most personal approach to all of us. So, we do not "feel alone" and can always ask something. I am happy when a RESERVATION ENTERS THROUGH WEROOM, knowing no problem will succeed or it will be resolved fast and kindly. I recommend specially TOM CARRERAS that is making A GREAT WORK FOR HIS COMPAN, as well as THE STUDENTS and LANDLORDS.
Thanks Tom to be there for us.

Bereft of Common Sense, Basically Thoughtless

I booked a room with a roomer who changed his mind about renting me the room after he accepted my booking and we set a move-in date. He never corresponded with me and I wouldn't have known that he changed his mind had I not received an email alert letting me know that he had relisted the room. It took almost a week for me to get my booking fee refunded and the people I talked to didn't take the situation seriously. They contacted the roomer and he made up a crazy story, never communicated with me, and waited a few days before he finally officially canceled my booking. It was pretty frustrating.

Expensive service

WeRoom just give the site, tenant and landlord should do everything but the economical benefit of WeRoom is quite good. Something good: customer service

Terrible Experience!!!!

Terrible Experience with them, they wasted my time and money.
I have listed my properties on their site but it was NOT worth it. Their policy says that customers can cancel the booking 15 days before but in my case the customer booked the room5 days before and then when he came to the property decided not to take it anymore as he didn't like it.

They prefer to look after a 20y.o. guy and don't care about loosing a Landlord with 20+ properties .... this is how they do business!!!
A Complete Disaster to me.

It is vary hard to find accomodation in france when you're a foreigner. Not with Weroom!

Pro: The Weroom team is very hands-on and personal in their commitment to deliver the best platform to find a room in France. I found a good place with very nice roommate/landlord within a day (I had a hard deadline because previously arranged option blew up in my face).

Con: You need to be carefull who you rent from. In my case the room I found turned out to be rented by an agency that needed a French tax-paying person to be my cautionaire. So make sure you inform about this beforehand.

Great service, needs little improvement

A great, very well implemented idea. Support service is excellent and really helpful too. The only thing I found didn't work as well as expected was the available dates filter — I get some rooms in the results that are not available at the dates I'm requesting.

The concept is good and it's well developed

But unfortunately the prices of the rooms in the platform are higher than on other platforms.

Also, the zoom sometimes does NOT show all flats.

Other than that, it's a great concept. You just need to bring more ads.
