Online Ordering was fine - Notification of despatch fine - Delivery 1 - Via DPD failed at 5.40pm after waiting in - they sent an image of someone elses premises to say i wasnt in. I had been in all day. Being the end of the day, noone was able to assist from DPD or Westward Building Services Ltd - I followed up next morning with and got apologies and that it would be delivered the next day as it had been returned to the store .. how can that have happened overnight ? I was told it would be "reordered" and got another invoice sent albeit for £0 - THe delivery never arrived and when i followed up it had been misrouted to Harrogate 5 miles away and would not be delivered until the next day - it is now friday and guess what - it did not get delivered and the same scam of sending a photograph of somone elses premises .. i could expand on this, i could get deeper into the weak responses - the fact is that neither Westward Building Services Ltd not DPD were capable of delivering a small parcel after 1 week. and what is more, no follow up , no checking in ... Full Refund is requested now - lets see how that goes?

Westward Building Services Ltd is a very poor shipping company that is supposed to deliver my parcel. It has been three days since my parcel was dispatched, but it has not been delivered yet. For the past three days, I have been receiving emails in the evening stating that they forgot to deliver my parcel. It's a strange and ridiculous situation. Westward Building Services Ltd provides a very poor service.

I recently purchased window vents from this company. Despite checking I had ordered the correct type and that the order clearly stated that this is what I ordered I was sent a different type that are not compatible. The company have totally ignored any of my correspondence to try and rectify this.

I presume it was because I didn't detect *their* error quick enough. It now appears that they are trying to ignore their mistake in the hope that they can get away with it. I would avoid this company as they have little regard for their customers.

Please read the negative reviews for this company then decide for yourself ......I would never order from them again, a totally stressful experience

Bought a dewalt 1/2 cordless impact gun, turned up 48 hours after ordering. Have not used gun in anger yet but checked out ok so can’t see it being an issue.

Shocking admin team.
I ordered from mano and my address auto filled to an old house. In 48 hours they failed to amend after me changing the address with mano within 12 hours of ordering.
Item was delivered and now I'm told there's nothing they can do. Even though they could've just changed the delivery, or made a cancellation with dpd. Just lazy admin.

I decided to write this review based on my experience with Westward on the purchase of a Multifunction Test meter and some of the reviews seen here.
I placed an order for two items, the first was posted and received very quickly. After various emails and calls which were hit and miss sometimes (just keep the communication process going) I was told the meter was delayed due to a system update. When the meter turned up it was the wrong model. I called Westward and the person who was very good said he would arrange a pick up as they could not sent a replacement until they collected. I wish he confirmed that via email as I sent a rather snotty disapproving email to Westward that night. Friday morning I rang at 9am and spoke to a lady who said “I am really sorry let me sort this out for you” She confirmed DPD pick up which happened On Time. I then got confirmation of delivery which arrived yesterday On Time. I apologise for the email and in hindsight, I believe somebody else received my meter in error and thought wow a free upgrade.
Thank you Westward for the great customer care I received, that also goes to anyone else I spoke to in-between sorting my issue out. Please just keep us updated as we are not always in for deliveries as forewarned is forearmed in our industry.

Just awful. This company doesn’t care about anything but profit!

I ordered a Dewalt Multi-tool from Mano Mano who in turn got Westwood Building Services Ltd to supply. The item never arrived and both Mano Mano and Westwood Building Services have been absolutely useless.
I am now out of pocket to the sum of £106.00
Avoid both companies the are useless and rip-you off!

Parts missing. They don’t answer emails for weeks. Then when thy do finally make contact they promise the earth but don’t follow up. So back to emails. Even tried phone calls but all I got was “I’ll get someone to call you right back” right meaning never.

Bought an item off eBay under their other name ‘Powertoolmate’ and in 20 years of buying online I have never been treated as badly as I was by these guys. They may be the cheapest at the time but you pay the price when things go wrong...

Check out reviews for powertoolmate (subsidiary). I went against reviews and ordered item. It was lost!! Tried calling and when I eventually got through their option was for me to buy another and if the other one turned up they could refund me!! Glad I paid paypal...I forced a refund and went elsewhere

I didnt want to click and pay online as i have been doing this recently and things have been delivered up to 2 weeks late! so i called Westward Building Services spoke to a very helpful lady who took my order, i asked if it could be a priority delivery as i was in the middle of a job and needed to replace my machine quickly. I placed my order at 11am and by 10.30 next day it was delivered. That is great service considering the current situation we are all in. Thanks so much to the lady i spoke to, she did everything she could to make sure my item got to me quickly. Would definitely recommend this company. THANKS!!!!
