White Flower Farm Reviews 

I ordered two lilies, Primal Scream and When My Sweetheart Returns. When they arrived ,one of the two roots looked as though it was very dried up. I couldn't which lily it was because the name tags were unattached. The root that looked shriveled up never grew after planting outside while the other healthy looking root is now six inches tall.

My order arrived in great shape, on time, and was big, healthy stock. No puny, spindly stuff. Fortunately for me, the shipping staff knew a tad better than the ordering staff. When I ordered, they said it would come in about 5 days (we still had snow on the ground!). But when the order actually arrived, it was perfect timing for our area and zone. I've ordered from WFF for 25 years and it's always been a great experience. Gorgeous flowers, terrific shrubs -- you name it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company to anyone.

This company is a stand out, in my opinion. The plants always arrive in great condition, so well packaged that not even any dirt escapes from the pots. I love their selection and variety of plants, too. Some people may think White Flower is too expensive, and their prices are a little higher, but it's definitely a case of "you get what you pay for." In this case, perfect, healthy plants. I recommend this company whole-heartedly.

When I got the request to review how I liked my order, I thought it meant that the order should have arrived. Wrong! It wouldn't even ship out until over a week later, and take even longer to arrive.

Please - I don't need more confusion in my life!

I have ordered from WFF 3 different times & I am extremely happy with the plants I've received! I've ordered from other companies & the quality of packing & the plants themselves do not compare. My most recent order was lost by carrier and it took 7 days from the day shipped before I recieve them. I worried they would have dried out & died but nope, absolutely lush greenery! By the way I order a lot of clematis & if you know anything about them, the soil needs to stay moist! I will continue to do business with WFF. They have the most beautiful clematis vines! And other flowers too!

I ordered two Seattle Dahlia tuber sets. Each plant consisted of one tuber only, of small to medium size. When buying dahlia, one usually get a bunch of tubers attached to the old stem, not just one tuber. I also ordered from Wayside Garden - their dahlias came in the expected bunch of tubers attached to the old stem. This is not acceptable, I do not know the viability of the small tuber received from White Flower Farm. The reason for it can only be the company's interest in profit over good service.

I ordered 3 items on 4/27 and the shipping charge was more than 1/4 the order. And, it's 5/7 and I still have not received my order.

Ordered on 4/5. Order confirmation said items would be shipped beginning of APRIL. My fiancé chatted on-line and called previously in which we were assured the order was SHIPPED. Last conversation stated we would received the order by this PAST weekend. No order received, no notice stating why the delay. My fiancé just 'chatted' again today, obviously now annoyed as we would like to get the garden planted and this is the below conversation (yes, he is now annoyed, as am I!) Will never order from here again IF we even ever get the order. Poor service all around. Please note - this is the first review I have EVER GIVEN, so that should tell you a lot on the quality of service received - which is NONE.

UPDATE: Never responded to my fiancé email on Monday or mine yesterday. Again, POOR customer service.

I love the wisteria tree/vine I get from here, only problem is that the squirrels eat it, so you'll have to fence it up, shipping seems a bit high to me, but the plants always ship great, are packaged well and look wonderful.

Will never order fromyou again

My plants arrived in several shipments, but each looked as if it had been packaged with care. Each of the plants looked like they had been just watered even though they had been shipped. They were carefully packaged, no broken stems and even my tomato plants had some blooms.

Winter was rough all over the nation, but when you provided plants and bulbs for the whole nation you better darned well have what the warmer states purchase for timely planting. Everything aside from two begonia plants arrived at least a month after it should have been planted in Dallas to get established before the 100 degree days summer brings. Plus I received a pitiful excuse of a Knockout Rose which was refunded after calling.

Even though White Flower Farm has a great diversity of beautiful plants that are great additions to a gardener's collection, if you live in warmer climates than Zone 6 you'll do much better spending your money with growers that can provide plants for planting at the proper time for your USDA zone versus gambling on White Flower Farm's standard late arrivals.

If you want quality look no farther.

We have ordered from White Flower Farm for several years and only had one plant that was sickly when it arrived. It was promptly replaced.

I was disappointed that several plants I ordered were not included which means I cannot complete palnting them until the missing ones arrive. Also, there was an unannounced substitution that I had to sort out. The plants were very healthy when they arrived.

I had used Hallmark flowers for many years as I had great success with them. They stopped shipping almost four years ago now and I have never been able to find an adequate replacement (FTD just doesn't get it as the quality varies from place to place). So I was so excited when I heard from both parties that I sent flowers to that they were gorgeous...smelled fresh and remained beautiful for almost two weeks. Thank you white Flower Farm...I now have a good company for cut flowers.

Plant arrived in great condition. Was packed well and received in timely manner.
