Complained via their webchat due to an unauthorised charge of £49.00 after a 24 hour trial period.
As I complained and asked to be refunded the ability to live chat was removed and I could no longer contact them via this option, further more their phone number does not go through to a person and simply ends the call after a hold loop.
Would a reputable business operate like this?
Operated by Wizorg Ltd, of which you can find the directors information via companies house.
Very much doubt the services being provided are accurate or legitimate.
Will be escalating to trading standards if my refund is not forthcoming within 24 hours.

The company information is extremely accurate.

If I could give less than 1 star rating I would. I paid a 50p fee to check a phone number and the next day £39 has been taken. They say it's clear to see the charges but not when paying. I have since had the subscription cancelled and a refund is in the process but. Your online account is so basic there is no option to unsubscribe. You tried to tell me it had been too long to receive a refund. I contacted you on the day it was taken. Less than 24 hours is not justified in keeping a month fee for something you don't clearly lay out. There are people that will be willing to pay but don't con those that can't or won't. Please be more mindful and give people their money back when you took it under false pretences.

This is an inertia selling scam. I have requested a full refund from WHOCALL and will be pursuing this through the Small Claims Court if the refund is not forthcoming.

I wanted to check one number only to discover that I was signed up to a subscription without my knowledge or permission. It’s cost me £147.20 so far and although I’ve asked for a refund I’m not very hopeful. I’ve now unsubscribed but why should I have to when I didn’t subscribe in the first place?

Scam website. Don’t use
I used it to see more info on a phone number. I paid £0.50 for 1 time use. 2 days later they took £48.90 for monthly subscription which I never signed up for. They’ve set it up in an order that even if u don’t want subscribe they will automatically sign u up & take the money. Furthermore there was no information I could even find on the phone so waste of time & money. Still trying to get refund for it. Also funny enough the number they provide for dispute is also unavailable or u need to pay to be able to call. Horrible!!!

What a con I wanted to check one number out and at 50c thought that's OK. Then see not only the 50c but €48.50 as it had been 24 hours. I have cancelled my subscription but had no idea till I looked at my bank account.
This is hidden in Ts&Cs
2.1 The cost of using the Service is as follows: During the first 24 hours from your registration, clients have the option to test our Service for a fee of €0.50 ("Trial Period"). After these initial 24 hours, unless terminated within that timeframe, a subscription is automatically initiated on a monthly basis for a monthly fee of €48.90. Unless canceled, this subscription is automatically renewed on a month-to-month basis, and the designated card is automatically charged.
Don't do it it's such a con and the number I had they gave an unsubstantiated name with no address.
DO NOT USE THEM
Update whocall asked me to call or send email to them the email address is wrong to. Looks like I have to call and if I'm lucky I'll get a refund in 10days. They are quick enough to take it in 24 hours.

My little brother wanted to find a number out and showed me this, I stupidly agreed to let him and it said it would be 50p, the payment went but it didn’t seem to do anything so I swapped emails to see if that work for again another 50p, what they don’t tell you is the hidden subscription fee after 24hours ( unless you go searching for it which I stupidly didn’t) that’s lead to TWO £48 subscription payments come out of my bank account that’s nearly £100 and looks like I won’t be seeing that again, tried to contact but nothing so will have to try go through my bank to get it back, I cancelled them as soon as I realized I’d been signed up twice but it was just past the 24 hour mark. This business will scam many in the same way

Scammers... Charge 50p to view a number then signed me up to a subscription without me knowing for 48.90 a month. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK?

Used this service, paid £0.50
Only to see attempts to take an unauthorised payment of £48 the next day.
I contacted my bank and they was really helpful and blocked them from taking any thing at all.
But i viewed my account today and yet again a declined payment…of £48 I have no words that can explain just what F**king dirty ruthless excuses for humans are actually living amongst us.
Just lawless, moral-less, relentless creatures
One day it will be taken from them in the same way theft!
That will upset you..when you can NOT buy food for your family.
Saddening.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!
I echo all the other 1 star reviews!
Luckily I paid the 50p from an account I only keep a few pounds in at any one time so they were unable to take to £49.50 they tried too take.
Nothing mentioned anywhere about this fee after the 50p initially paid.
Plus random name as stated in other reviews for the number given which could have caused great issues if I’d used this incorrect information!!!

Already knew they were scammers but I saw someone post in April about the exact experience I had today which confirms my suspicions entirely.
This is a fraudulent service, and they are not in fact giving you any information on the person behind any phone number.
Paid my 50p, had the number come back with the last digit missing for some reason when I know I typed the full one in - and got a random name. Did the search a second time and got a completely different name with full number. Did it a third time - again different name and at this point I thought, I’m going to do my own number. It will not surprise you that it was another name - they are all suspiciously fake also, odd combinations and as soon as I googled found no one called this. It also said my own number was high threat level which made me laugh, and
So not only are they hiding a subscription behind very illegally worded ‘one time purchase’ 50p text they are also just absolutely not providing the service they promise. Avoid the scammers!

Signed me up for a subscription I didn't consent to. taken £48.90 from my account and refuse to refund but also cant access the service I have paid for. SCAM. Have raised a dispute with my bank.

my daughter used them to search up a mobile number that kept spamming her. She paid 50p for the initial search, and three months later they have taken £48.90 from her account without her permission. She has not signed up for any subscription and is underage. AVOID!!!
