At Whoobid we’re more than just an auction platform. We run bespoke UK property auctions tailored to each property and each seller, supported by a team of real people who are here to guide you every step of the way. Sellers benefit from fixed timescales that guarantee speed, a legally binding process on the fall of the hammer that provides security, and 0% commission since the buyer pays the fees. This makes selling property at auction a clear, affordable and reliable method. For buyers, the speed and transparency comes from the auction pack. All legal documents are prepared upfront, saving time and ensuring you can make fully informed offers on residential, commercial or investment properties with confidence. Our goal is simple: to make property sales quicker, more secure, less intimidating and completely transparent.

Excellent Service and fast response to all emails and contact. Couldn’t fault at all. Thank you lucie and team.
Very good service, responsive communication. Even though my flat didn't sell at auction, they were able to negotiate a sale afterwards.
Great team with excellent communication! Julia was very informative throughout the process and gave me the confidence to proceed. Thank you!
Fantastic service achieved a fantastic price sale was smooth and seamless would highly recommend the Whoobid team
I had a great experience with Whoobid when purchasing my new home. I hadn’t considered purchasing a property through auction before and was unaware of the process. It was explained very well by the team there on how the auction process is conducted by Whoobid which gave me the confidence to view the property and eventually purchase the property. It was very smooth throughout the whole process and the quick nature of auction completions meant I was able to get the keys to my new home just 2 months after agreeing to purchase it. Everyone I dealt with was a pleasure to speak to and I would highly recommend their platform and team to anyone considering buying or selling a property.
great service and smooth process, would recommend to anyone
I had the misfortune of dealing with a senior director at this company, and the experience has been nothing short of appalling. I called over 15 times, left multiple voicemails, and sent numerous emails — all of which went completely ignored. No returned calls, no acknowledgment, nothing.
By pure chance, the director finally called me back. During that conversation, I made an offer on a townhouse in Nottingham, which he assured me “will be accepted.” After that, radio silence. No confirmation, no update, no communication whatsoever. Despite repeated calls and emails to the office, I have received zero response.
This is not only deeply unprofessional but also feels incredibly dishonest. They have wasted my time and shown complete disregard for basic customer service or integrity. In my opinion, this behaviour borders on scamming, and I will be reporting them to Propertymark — which includes the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (NAVA).
Absolute scammers. Avoid at all costs.
This company is not to be trusted, so much so I’m in the process of litigation in order to retrieve monies paid, of which should not have been charged to my purchase. The directors and associates habitually ignore calls, whilst omitting any basic level of personal responsibility. A wholly unscrupulous, untrustworthy organisation with a “les a faire” approach to the business. Avoid at all costs!!
We just purchased our first auction property through Whoobid. They are very professional, helpful and trustworthy. I very much enjoyed an easy transaction and a great service. Thank you to all the team who held our hand through the process, you have been brilliant. I would definitely recommend using this company.
The auction process was fully explained and the team kept me fully informed.
As an estate agent, having a great working relationship with supportive companies is so important & here at Belvoir Gloucester, we have the most incredible relationship with Whoobid Property Auctions. I work alongside Lucy, who is professional and incredibly knowledgeable about her area of expertise. I was completely unaware of the modern method of auction within residential sales, and Lucy has been a fantastic person to have at the end of the phone whenever I have any questions! I would highly recommend Whoobid Auctions if you are looking for a friendly, professional and honest auction house to sell your property.
great company full transparency throughout very easy to deal with, would recommend using every time.
I have been using Whoo bid to buy a lot of my properties. I find them very easy to deal with and very honest.
Will continue to buy properties through them.
Highly recommend!!!
This company did not tell me the truth regarding the conditions, they took commission from my buyer straight after the sale and both myself and my buyer were misled totally. They went off into the sunset with his cash and left us to sort out the mess. Fortunately, my buyer is a genuine person and we are working to resolve the situation some nine months later.
Do not trust this company.
Deeply unimpressed with the cowboy approach of this firm. I feel very messed around and possibly even lied to. Hard to work with anyone like this when you can't trust them and they make you waste your precious time.
I needed a secured sale within a tight deadline, so my local Estate Agent suggested I auction the property, and recommended Whoobid to do this. I didn't read these reviews before entering into the process, and I'm glad I DIDN'T otherwise I may not have used them.. My experience has been very different in a positive way. From start to finish, everyone I spoke to at Whoobid was friendly, informative, helpful, and hard working.. they helped guide me through the process as a novice. Communication throughout was excellent. Their solicitors were also very quick and efficient.. in fact, everyone involved worked really well together to achieve an ultra quick completion. I couldn't have asked for a better team of experts to make this happen, and I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to others..
Do not risk! They do the talk but not the walk. Take £4800 fees immediately from buyer, pay referral fees of £800 to their mates, but do not carry out the sale nor take a deposit from the buyer. Totally unprofessional remotely based nonsense. Even their associate solicitors are totally incapable and do nothing
When negotiating outside of the auction was told a £4800 fee would need to be paid within 3 hours of an offer being accepted. I got the distinct feeling that rather than negotiate a sale for the seller, they just wanted to take their fee and remove themselves from the sale.
I had to chase to get a reply to an email offer I had made only to be informed that the property was sold.
When I queried the sale price, I was told they would not disclose this even though there is no legal requirement not to disclose it!
Just like a lot of these sudden modern method auction sellers, their attitudes, customer service and sales negotiations leave a lot to be desired! They are on par with most estate agents in the uk currently if not one step below
I will not be buying or selling with them in the future based on my first and last interaction with them!
